I love that part of women. When you’re the guy who backs out it makes your value rise. My guess is that while you’re away the orbiters become annoying as hell. One time I remember a few girls at my place talking and they were saying to me “it’s awesome that you’re not a desperate guy”. I didn’t pry for details, but I understood what was being said. Never be the guy blowing up a girls phone or complaining about the “relationship”. Relax, be upbeat and have your own life. When I’m with my girl; sh…

Similar problem. Slowly getting back with ex LTR. I purposely ignore her text. She recently called me out about it via text. I respond back with a picture of my workload on my desk...and she sends a text saying “whatever”. I want her back, but not willing to stroke her need for attention. Looks like I’ll go silent again till she “double texts” and then give her a response that’s more soothing to the frustration she showed when I wasn’t replying.

in my exp, these things just happen. i did however met a girl couple at a bar one night. i went after the butch girl. exchanged numbers and keep a text relationship. turns out the butch girl likes guys. they basically are open about new guys they see. saying "guys bring STD's into the relationship". once you have sex with one of them; they look for you to be both of their "boyfriends" or male FWB.

I'm the same way. In retrospect, my 20s are all "alpha-dom" though I didn't realize it. I was 20s and paying for abortions left and right. Walking out on chicks, breaking hearts and the whole nine yards. As terrible as it sounds the girls I dated in my 20s have been casual sex partners between break-ups for the last 20 years. Something about women loving dogs. LMAO! LTR works for me. I like the challenge of keeping the interest and being the best man I can be.

good advice in this thread. i'm seeing a lot of the things that I've done over the long-haul that were actually right. at the same time, I'm acknowledging some wrong moves too. i don't think her family is a huge factor in her decision process. hung out with her mother and siblings mostly. dad was on business travel. her mom mainly conveyed how much she loves her daughter...some teasing about stuff my GF did growing up. the meet with family was casual. i suppose the positive was that there wasn't…

my apologies about posting in the wrong sub. if it can be moved, by all means move it. didn't cohabit on the move. i noticed she was delaying the process of selecting a new place. i made the decision on my own to keep living separate until we're "absolutely sure" every aspect of our relationship is 100%. i don't plan on being a "bachelor", shuffling girls in and out. i really only want loving energy and a high-level of attraction in my personal space. since doing this she's staying at her gf's, …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
