Being here made me get over my oneitis and made me realize that my ex did have a serious mental condition. It's crazy how much you're willing to dismiss or make excuses for when you have your pussy blinders up. So much time and effort wasted, the experience is what pushed me towards MGTOW. Sometimes I wish I would've found it sooner.

I couldn't agree more. The unnecessary pressure that is put on your shoulders to make things "perfect" for someone that doesn't even know what they want isn't worth it. They are never grateful for the effort you put in and they will never appreciate anything until you stop. Even then it's short-lived because they know they'll be able to trick you back into doing all the legwork for 10 minutes of starfish.

This is my ex-wife and ex-gf summed up into one post. Not to mention that the hours of counseling, reconciling, and being told by professionals that it's always your fault.
