If people actually had a one in 100 chance of dying in a car accident every year, I don't think that many people would get in their cars. That would be an astronomical risk to say the least. Car accidents probably happen that often but many don't lead to deaths. I've been in like 4 bumper accidents since I started driving 15 years ago but they were all very minimal.

I mean if you're fat, you have to be open to dating other fat people. I've seen plenty of couples that are both overweight and happy together. Might be because I lived in the bible belt south for over a decade.

And that specific type of woman probably doesn't want you. You might have to settle for fat because most Americans are fat.

Being large might be a huge disadvantage but being like 4-5 inches taller is not going to make that big of an impact calorie-wise.

5'7 is really not that big of a deal for men, as long as he's like 3-4 inches taller than whoever he's talking to. Just have to make sure you meet people in person like bars/clubs/parties/etc. rather than a dating app.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/24 11:35 PM

This would be like if you got to see the ending of movies before watching them imo. Would ruin all the suspense for me.

Stranded meaning it's like a rare situation otherwise I wouldn't stay with someone who's dumb enough to constantly get stranded. For example, her car breaks down on the highway. I'm not going to drive an hour so that she doesn't have to spend 10 minutes on the bus though. Gotta have some self respect if you want others to respect you.

Really depends on the meaning of nice then. I'm not rude or closed off to most people but I'm also not trying to be everyone's friend either. If someone asks me for directions on the street, I'll help them. If someone asks me for money on the street, I'm not giving out handouts. I think a lot of people don't know how to say no and that can be an issue. If an acquaintance called me up and asked me to drive an hour because they're stranded, I'm probably just going to say sorry and hope they make i…

I mean I can tell if a girl is genuinely nice or trying to put on an act. It's the way they treat others, especially people who provide no benefit to them. It's akin to the cliche, how people treat a server says a lot about them. It's also something that is over time, people can put on an act at first and you have to let the mask fall sometimes.

It really doesn't matter what a woman's profile says though since there's a huge mismatch in the gender ratio.

Can I say that I've never seen 'listener' spelled as 'lisinor'? It almost looks like it's another language lol.

Shallow shit really only matters that much on dating apps though. I've never been disqualified for my height IRL because I'm taller than most women and I'm just 5'10.

Plenty of people in this world, move on to someone who finds you attractive. I can't change my race, I know that a lot of women don't find asian men attractive but I did find someone who finds me attractive. I've dated my fair share of women throughout my life and I was never the most attractive guy.

Pretty sure that has more to do with their diet. If you ever go to Japan, you're not going to see a fast food restaurant on every city block like you do here in the US. Even our soda consumption is through the roof here in the US, unlimited refills at basically every restaurant. When I worked in food service, people would drink a giant cup of sweet tea or soda and then get it refilled so they could drink more on the way home.

Meanwhile, a 5/10 woman can fairly easily engage in situationships or ONS with 8/10 guys, which makes a female alpha widow quite common. I don't know about what you've seen but my friend never brought home 5s considering he got the pick of the litter. Hot guys can pick and choose and very likely wouldn't just pick a 5.

There's a difference between a "nice guy" and a genuinely nice guy though. My roommate in college was a genuinely nice guy and never had trouble getting a date. He was an alright looking dude but he was 5'5 and out of shape so didn't meet all the conventional standards of masculinity.

I've seen a lot and it was always caused by the man but I also come from a conservative background so the man is the head of the household. Our anecdotes don't really say much in the broader picture though.

I don't see how the women on here would be a good representation of the average woman. Most women wouldn't even need to be on a subreddit that talks about dating dynamics, they live their life oblivious to this kind of thing.

You act like kids are going to listen to their dads lmao. Trust me, it's not that simple because if you remember, your parents probably told you how to study hard but most people didn't listen. I tell my younger brother to workout but he has every excuse against the gym even after getting a membership.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/24 01:32 PM

You obviously ask for their sex tapes first.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 07:14 PM

More like you're oblivious to your own biases. Most people are " basic" people. 90% of my guy friends love videogames, sports, fitness, etc. We all pretty much dress a like too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 01:48 PM

Idk about that one, I'm in the gym everyday and most guys are literally wearing the same shit. Tshirt + basketball shorts or sweatpants. Hell that's what I wear too.

Neither would men tbh. I always think of the below average height man getting matched with the above average weight woman. Neither are going to be happy most likely.

Its almost impossible to live in NYC without a decent job so there is no way thats the reason. This is what you said and what I disagreed with. It's possible and is the daily life for probably hundreds of thousands of people in this city if not millions. So many people working retail and food service in NYC. I doubt they make more than 40k/year.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/23 10:52 PM

Living in NYC, there are so many types of people. Just because they live in NYC, doesn't mean they don't still live at home and work at Target. There's so many random jobs in this city in order to keep it running. There's people who work at my gym and making $15/hour in NYC.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/23 10:41 PM

That just depends on the woman, plenty of good looking guys will get picked over average dudes. Looks get you in the door, so without looks you might not even get chosen to see how great your sense of humor is.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 06:38 PM

Can you link a comment saying looks don't matter?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 06:37 PM

Obviously looks matter but they're not the only thing that matters. Does anyone actually believe that looks don't matter? Maybe if you're blind I guess.

Sounds pointless ngl since there's like 2 decades for things to change. My father didn't use dating apps for example. I'd rather ask my friends who have success with women than go ask my father.

Going off that logic, if a woman only goes on a date with a man for his resources (free dinner/dates/experiences) without any intentions of furthering a relationship, is that robbery?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 12:50 AM

Might not be the norm but the 7 year itch is a meme, where divorces spike around that mark.

No one said anything about individual abs, I'd probably have to cut down like 10-15 lbs to show that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 10:51 PM

I used to be crazy lean, like 20 lbs lighter. Overall, I feel much healthier now and don't even bother tracking what I eat. I just eat until I'm not hungry and whatever I want if I'm eating out. A nice bonus is that I don't feel as cold now that it's winter haha.

I do in the mornings before I eat if I flex. I might not be exactly 20% but somewhere in that range. <image> This is kinda what my abs look like waking up.

I went to a good barbershop to learn how to style my hair. I had the most success with a place that has a lot of clients that have my type of hair basically. Nowadays, I rock an easy long on top and short on the sides and all it takes is a cut every 2-3 weeks and a comb after a shower.

Lots of advice that you can read online even but the problem with that in my honest opinion is that it goes in one ear and out the other. It's only when you actually intentionally do something that you really pick up on it, instead of just reading theory. For instance, before I started dating, I was like a fish on land. I'd awkwardly try to pick up girls in college and that didn't do me any good. It wasn't until I actually had a friend that turned into a close friend and eventually my girlfriend…

I love being around 20% bodyfat. Feels like the perfect weight for me, where I can eat what I want and never have to track macros. In the mornings, I can still flex and see abs. I couldn't stand being under 15%.

That's how I feel but one of my reasons is I'm hesitant to sign myself up for the risk of a 18 year bill tied to a random woman. My friend did that and lost the gamble, kid is already in high school by now.

Lmao let me guess, you're conservative and probably drive a truck and own guns. I'm not into men but it's crazy how much conservative men rant about there not being anymore traditional women now so they just don't list being conservative on their profiles anymore in hopes of getting any matches.

Do you even understand how alimony works? I don't even think most men know how it works in the first place. It's not like you suddenly get hit with alimony after being together for 6 months. Alimony is mostly thrown around here as a boogeyman just like how men don't have a right to custody of their children is thrown around. There are multiple ways to contest alimony as well, things like age/health/marriage duration, all come into effect when figuring out alimony. Like I said above, most people …

Sounds more like you need to keep with the times. Just because I say I want a car, doesn't mean I want a car from the 1960s or 1980s. If you want an old-fashioned marriage, you're going to need to find a traditional woman.

People love to whine just like people making minimum wage love to whine about a wealth tax. I doubt most people who whine about alimony have even been close to a situation where they'd be liable for alimony. I have old friends from high school who whine about the wealth tax on incomes over $250k and yet they're making close to $30k/year. If anything, that wealth tax would basically help them without taking any of their money in additional taxes.

Funny thing is that men can get just as emotional. I've been around men who start fights because you say their favorite NFL team sucks. That's definitely emotional to think that, someone else's opinion about which group of grown men playing with a ball is better, means enough to get physically violent.

This is all anecdotal so I can put my own experiences in as well. When I was in my early 20s, I was depressed and addicted to video games. I hated my situation in life and because of that, I'd ignore my friends, my family and my co-workers. I've grown past that point and have changed my mentality towards life after hitting rock bottom. Just as you think that you might have had a lot of love to give, I didn't even know what that even meant. I grew up moving around a lot and was never really able …

Sounds like you live in your TikTok feed. I live in NYC, I do see men who paint their nails and love fashion. That still doesn't equate to the majority of men being into makeup and dressing up flamboyantly. I can count the number of men I've seen this week who have painted their nails with my finger and I see hundreds of people just commuting home from work.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 03:53 PM

This is only true if you consistently see your family regularly maybe. I moved out of the house when I was 17 from immigrant parents. What they value is different from what I value. Sure I can think of their feelings but they don't really know me nor what's best for me. If I left it up to them, they'd say I should marry the first woman I dated and have a child at 21 straight out of college. Nah miss me with that, I didn't even know myself at 21.

I forgot this was a pissing contest, my bad. My point was that corporate employers are not just going to accept something because it's "natural". It's not natural for me to wear a suit and tie or be clean shaven every morning.

Been over 15 years with this same hand, hasn't gotten old yet. I change the content I watch. I also don't just use my hand though, I've been in and out of relationships as well. I just wouldn't visit a prostitute though because it sounds like so much hassle for 10 mins with a stranger basically.

Sure if you're attractive enough to pull it off. Odds are that the average guy can't pull it off though when he hits 30 and is most likely overweight and possibly balding with a dead end job. I just turned 30 recently and I'm in great shape, hit the gym 3-5 times a week and still have a full head of hair and it's been easier for me because I'm more established compared to when I was 22 for example. I actually like the links that you listed, especially the second one. People need to learn how to make a budget. If you can't afford to fund a college fund then you can't and that's fine. I define the typical woman as just the general population of women. I took this post as a huge generalization of women and not just some niche community that you had to go digging back to 2017 to find a source in the news. If it was actually occurring in the general population, it shouldn't be hard to pull sources left and right from something more recent than 6 years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/23 04:52 PM
1

There are always going to be outliers hence the expression, exceptions don't make the rule. Has someone said that term before in the history of the internet? Sure. Is your typical woman saying that? I doubt it. If you search for anything using "that magic Internet box", you'll get something back. I've actually never heard any guy say "where have all the good women gone?", yet there's a link for that too unsurprisingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/23 04:48 PM

My point is that the very niche outliers mean nothing just like Chad's dating experiences mean nothing to the average guy. Just because Chad is banging 5 girls a week, means nothing to Billy Bob who gets 2 dates every 6 months. Pulling up a random source from the Daily mail is basically the equivalent to women thinking that all men are having sex because they're fucking Chad every week.

Why are you using Atlanta as an example when it's also a massive major metro area akin to NYC lmao. You can absolutely live in places like Pittsburgh or Tampa or Portland on $100k. No one would call those 3 cities the rural Midwest.

Come on man, no way you post shit sources like that. I'm a dude and that's like the equivalent of a woman posting a hot guy's dating experiences and wondering why men in general are having trouble with dating. Daily Mail is basically Fox News if you're from the US.

Probably has more to do with getting the best options that she can get. If she's doing the bare minimum, she's probably not going to be as attractive than someone who puts in more effort into fashion/makeup/fitness. It's like a job market, I could put the bare minimum and work an hourly job or I could go to university and get a career that could pay more and lead to better opportunities.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 10:38 PM

Alright boomer, we're not talking about the 60s. My uncle still had issues getting dates in his 20s and he's over 50 now because he's 5'4. He did eventually get married in his 30s though but that was probably more due to luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 10:36 PM

It's just the easy filter metric when you get tons of matches. Let's not kid ourselves, women get hundreds of matches. It's like jobs filtering through candidates by requiring a college degree, even for menial jobs. It's a first pass filter.

Sometimes you have to do the inviting. When I was still playing league of legends and just moved to a new city, I'd invite people to join me for a game night. Usually is a fun experience. Another example is when I talked to someone and they brought up motorcycle/dirt bike racing, I said that sounds interesting and they invited me to come to the event on the next weekend.

It usually is more complex unless you're talking about dating apps. Most women don't go around in real life with a tape measure so usually as long as you're taller than her then it doesn't really matter. Now if you're on an app then it's a completely different story because the options are skewed in their favor. Why settle for the 5'6 guy when the next swipe has someone that's 5'10 for example.

I don't get this statement. Why is it mutually exclusive that either the person is sleeping around or improving themselves? People can do both at the same time. I can hit the gym, study, move up in my career and still sleep around on the weekends when I'm off from work. Won’t the world be better that way? This sounds like a throwaway comment. It's so general that there's really no response to it.

You can date whoever you want to date. I personally don't date black women and that's a choice that I'm free to make because I'm just not physically attracted to them. I still interact with them as people though, just not in a romantic way.

Does anyone actually care about strangers across the world besides the minimal amount where you might donate some money if they have a natural disaster and hope nothing bad happens to them? I have too much going on in my own personal life to worry about world conditions and about random people in other countries or even in a different city than me. I've heard about Japan's low birthrate but nothing I can do about it so I don't spend my time worrying about them.

For dating, that can definitely be debatable considering most men after 30 are not having nearly as much trouble as late teens/20s.

antisocial, socially unaware, jealous, insecure, incels, or in a big financial struggle. That's more than just incels considering a majority of young people are not in the best financial situation, plenty of people with student loans or still living with their parents.

As far as the law is concerned, if you don't have custody then that's not your kid. If you break up with their parent, then that parent has all the rights and can keep you away from said child.

Like I said in my comment, I lived in the bible belt. Schools didn't just give out condoms, we never had the planned parenthood assemblies. We even had a prayer before announcements in a public school. Currently it's illegal to even have an abortion after 6 weeks in that state and that's if you can find someone who's willing to perform it.

Good luck getting any condoms in the rural south when the closest store was miles away and you don't have a car nor can you really ask your parent for condoms since it was the bible belt. Being in the bible belt, it also meant no abortion either. Plenty of mothers at that high school.

Some might not be clinically addicted but a vast majority are using video games as a coping mechanism or distraction. It's crazy how many guys will spend 4 hours a day on the games and avoid other things in their life like gym/diet/sleep. I'm guilty of it myself when I used to perma queue up for League of Legends. Havent touched that game in 2.5 years now though somehow.

At this point, it's like a chicken or the egg problem. What came first, the video game addiction and lack of ambition or the failure in society? I can personally say that it was my video game addiction that started when I was around 8 years old until around 25 before I could kick the addiction and start using my time better. Nowadays I still play video games but I play in spurts so I can get other things done like going to the gym or cooking actual meals. I took a huge break from the games from …

I think while attraction can be very diverse, there are some shared traits that are not attractive. For example, bad breath, long nose hairs, yellow teeth, unkempt beards, etc. Grooming and personal hygiene are separate from genetics but play a huge role in why some guys get zero attention. I used to be cheap and get a haircut twice a year so by around month 4, I started to look homeless. Nowadays I get a haircut every month and keep the rest of my hygiene/grooming in check.

No matter how small, its still a part of the sample size. If it happens 5000 times in a million cases then it's statistically irrelevant. That would be less than 1% of cases.

They can be real but it doesn't mean that it's a significant sample size. Just because you witnessed 50 cheaters, that still might have an insignificant impact on cheating as a whole which likely is millions of people. My group of 10 friends is nothing compared to the millions of adults above the age of 32 for instance.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 01:48 AM

Your experiences are still just anecdotal. For example, everyone in my friend group has bought a house and we're all just 25-32 but we're mostly professionals or business owners making six figures. I'm not naive enough to say that everyone can buy a house by 32.

Sure, here's the Oxford definition for empathy: the ability to imagine and understand the thoughts, perspective, and emotions of another person. In counselling and psychotherapy empathy is often considered to be one of the necessary qualities enabling a successful therapeutic relationship the very first line says "the ability to imagine", I can imagine that breaking a leg would be very painful but I don't necessarily have to experience it myself to know that it's going to be painful.

By that scenario then no one can really empathize. Maybe someone broke their leg while drunk and someone else broke it while being sober. They probably didn't experience the same thing.

A bum is a bum no matter where they're at. Someone with no social skills is still going to be having trouble with social skills somewhere else unless it's due to a language barrier of sorts. I didn't say that he started underwater welding right away. I don't think anyone chooses those jobs voluntarily. For example, I know an underwater welder. He went to school for computer science but was unable to get his degree when his firstborn came so he started welding because it paid well and he could start asap. Same with coal miners or any other hard labor or even enlisting in the military. I went to a poor rural high school and almost every guy went into the Army.

I live in NYC, I know I'll never own a house here so when I want to buy a house, I know I'll have to move. Like I said, location matters. I was looking at houses when interest rates were low in Atlanta. Big metro area, houses in the outskirts for around 400k-500k. Sure it's a big move but if I want a house then that's an option.

Let me guess, you're also a part of Antiwork. If it's your dream to have a nice home with a yard, that's more than doable for most people. Depends on how much of a priority you make it and location you want. Don't go expecting a nice home in a big metro area for example, since those go for half a million at least. It's also going to be a 30 year mortgage too, most likely.

It's nice but at the same time, it's the norm in my culture. It would probably even be offensive if I denied my mom the opportunity because she'd probably feel left out within her friend group. A lot has to do with culture and the way we were raised.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/23 04:18 PM
3

We all have our own cultures though, even if we all grew up in the same country. It'd be hard for me to raise children with someone who I don't see eye to eye with, culturally. For example, in my culture, my mom would move in with us when we have children so that we both can work while my mom takes care of the kids. It's happened to all my cousins who have children, my aunts move in and help, generally until the kids start school. Some women are against having their MiL living with them.

I think it's terminally online people who read about the #MeToo movement, where dudes like Cosby/Weinstein are going on a SA spree and catch charges, and think it's the norm. I remember that there was a female Twitch streamer who tried to say that a pro LOL player, SAed her and it backfired hard. https://www.talkesport.com/news/yourprincess-quit-twitch-rivals-drama-explained/

Just look at this thread, plenty of people are making it seem like you have no chance unless you're a model or that you'll catch a sexual harassment charge. I've done my own fair share of approaches and have never worried about getting a charge. Maybe it's because I can read social cues rather well but I've seen some dudes in clubs who can't read the room. Even then, it's just a rough rejection and people move on. I think you'd have to take it pretty far to get a SA charge like straight up gropi…

If it works, it works. I've seen more success from random lines than I do from giving compliments or telling a joke. What's cringe imo is when dudes either use "Your beautiful" or the "What do you want, a joke or a fun fact?".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 04:07 PM
8

Fun fact, I had it happen to me unprompted. I had an OkCupid account from way back circa 2012. Didn't use it for awhile and when I decided to check it out again for shits and giggles, I noticed it got hacked lol. I had to recover the account through my email and found that whoever hacked it, had changed it to a Russian woman. Man, the inbox was full haha.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 02:50 PM

That's why you gotta come up with weird quirky lines imo. I've sent a few that had success because they just elicit interest and a need to respond. For example, during the summer heat wave, Man it's hot, we should try cooking eggs on the sidewalk. Got a fair amount of responses just because it wasn't about them but rather a random goofy opener. Most women have already heard all the compliment openers, mines opens differently.

That's what I'm trying to say. I'm no model either, I'm 5'10, very fit, average face and still managed to have fun over the summer when I just moved here last spring.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/23 02:10 PM

Sounds like you need to move then, it's hard to find anything in a small city. I used to live in a college town of 150k people and now live in NYC, it's night and day difference. Of course, you have to level up too but then there's so many more people to choose from. I'm curious what your profile looks like.

I value my time though. My contracting rate is $200/hour. A dinner is like an extra $50 if I'm paying for both VS splitting. It's not that big of a deal for me personally if I'm already investing time. It reminds me of when I used to always wait on sales to buy something I really wanted. Nowadays if I really want something, I don't mind paying full price instead of having to check the price everyday.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 10:59 PM

Honestly, I love when a woman offers to split but I'm not going to ask her to do it. It's the offer or that she pulls out her wallet, that I like. I don't mind that much about paying but I hate when women don't even offer. I come from a culture where people will fight for the bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 10:19 PM

Same reason men complain about having to pay for dates but continue to do it. I'm not a fan of paying for dates but I do it because it's become the norm. Sure, I could always ask to split but I'd rather just pay instead of getting ghosted because I didn't pay.

There's a difference between not good looking and not terrible looking. As long as you got a good face and able to talk a good game, you can score on Tinder. I'm sure most early 40s are not in shape either so that's a plus. I'm 29 and a lot of people my age are not going to the gym. I can't imagine how bad it is at 40.

As for my experiences with panhandlers, it falls in line with your experience. When I did offer to get a guy some food in a gas station, he said he'd take cash instead because the gas station down the road had better options. What's funny and what I've witnessed time and time again is that as soon as an ugly man has any success, he does a complete 180. Before the relationship, he's all about he'll be the best partner and not another bad boy. Then once he has a relationship, his attitude changes because he thinks that since he's attracted one person now, he's become attractive and can get other women too. Ego is a dangerous thing lol.

Where did I say anything about gender roles or something being solely on men? Stop making a strawman pointing back at women. I'm sure they don't all meet the bar either. My entire point is that the average man is pretty clueless when it comes to taking care of himself. I'll admit that I ate a lot of frozen meals when I moved out as well. Hungry mans, frozen wings, microwave pasta, you name it. It got better once I started watching the Food Network though.

I didn't say shit about gender roles, I'm saying the average man didn't learn to cook or clean while growing up. My brother didn't even learn how to use the washing machine until he moved out to college. Dude can't cook to save his life either so lived off the meal plan. Now he can make eggs and rice and boil some frozen vegetables. That's about it though.

I get that, I have friends that have dating issues too but they're not really the epitome of a person that I'd want to date. Dudes who wear the same clothes for years and put no effort into looking great. Dudes who give up on their fitness goals after a month because their body is sore. Dudes who can't even manage to stick to a meal plan because fast food tastes so good which usually results in an unhealthy body. The cool thing is that I don't have to date them, we just play videogames together …

It's not uncommon though for fathers to be like that especially when I was growing up in the 90s and early 2000s.

Steroids don't do shit if you don't even hit the gym haha. I had a friend who thought he could just drink protein powder and take steroids and he'd become jacked while playing videogames.

Plenty of dudes on here "argue for their friend", they say they don't have any dating trouble but their friends do. It's so weird how common it is on this sub.

To be fair, doesn't that really depend on MOS? Like if you're a barber or mechanic, do you really need to pass a physical test? I can understand if you're infantry or other combat role. My barber is a dude in his 50s that can probably do a couple pushups but man does he cut hair well.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/23 11:36 PM

Is it that or is it also that fathers actively choose not to be the primary caregiver? When I was growing up, my dad basically always told me to ask my mom for anything. If I needed my report card signed, I had to ask mom. If I needed new clothes, I had to tell mom. If I needed more lunch money, guess who I had to get it from? Mom. My Dad was pretty absent in a caregiver role, he was just the breadwinner.

Eh, I heard they're going to China, Mandarin (China's main language) is even taught in Russian schools. Also there's a shortage of women in China so they solve each other's problems. China's dictator even went to Russia this week to see Putin.

Mining as in working in a mine? I don't mind the engineering job because it's pretty chill. 40 hours/week with good benefits, can't really argue with that. Good mental stimulation too, of course there are bad days too but mostly good days. Name another job field I could transition into without going back to school or working manual labor and that even remotely competes with 200k/year. I'm on track to retire before 40 at this rate so it seems the wisest choice right now.

I mean I mentioned obese in my comment which is like 30 BMI. But the difference though is that I've worked out for around 7 years, started at 22 and now I'm 29. How many people do you know who workout for 7 years? Probably not a significant portion of the population. I'd guesstimate around 3-5% if that. BMI is a useful measurement for like 90%+ of the population. It has its uses.

Don't lotto winners end up broke within a year? Hardly the best example of people. I hated my first couple engineering jobs. I can tolerate my current one because the pay is great. No idea how surrounding myself with people who have careers, is 'gold digging'. Sounds like a bit of a reach. We split dinner bills just like any normal friend group. Would I like to quit my job and retire now? Sure. Can I though? No. So I'd rather be working this job over something that pays less and probably has no …

That's probably just as likely as someone making six figures. Sure it's easy to do if you have discipline. I workout 6 days a week. But if you compare how many people are in the gym in January every year compared to the other 11 months, people don't workout lol. I can't even get a machine in January without waiting. Today there's like 8 other people and 20 open machines.

Should be even easier to stick out from the pack then. I workout and currently cutting to have visible abs again by summer time. I get a lot more attention now than I did when I was skinny. Went from 5'10 140 lbs to 180 lbs.

This is the biggest delusion. Sure, some dudes are muscular but it's less than 10% if not 5% of men who make the cut of obese BMI from muscle. I've worked out in the gym for years and still have a normal BMI at 5'10 and 180 lbs. I'd probably have to jump on roids to hit that obese BMI from muscle. The same people who believe this delusion are the same people who don't want to workout because they're afraid of being too big when in fact, it takes years to hit that stage. I find that you have to bank on other characteristics. My uncle is short (so is the rest of my mom's family) but he's one of the hardest working people I know. He was still working 14 hours a day, 7 days a week up until he turned 52. His wife is the same way, both literally live to work so it was a match. Now they've switched to part-time work after they sold their main business.

I am East Asian (Chinese but I grew up in the US). I've even had blind dates too which is kinda like arranged marriages. I can get set up with someone that would be a good match and we see if we like each other. It's not forced and it's by choice, I usually have good experiences with it. Sometimes you just don't click though.

It's the mainstream red pill. It's not the red pill from the early 2000s maybe but it's what's become the red pill today. Just like 20 years ago you wouldn't classify a videogame player as an athlete. Nowadays if you're a pro CSGO or LOL player, you're now an Esports Athlete.

I'll believe it when I see it. I think most of those guys are just chronically online and don't have a social life so they resort to parasocial relationships with youtubers. I don't understand why anyone else would pay $100 to post a message on the screen for 5 seconds. It's just like dudes who donate to female twitch streamers or OnlyFans accounts.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/23 12:55 PM

Most of the red pilled guys I see are ones who got into the red pill because they couldn't get laid. All they do is read or consume the videos but never actually take action. Look at all the men who donate 100s of dollars to Fresh and Fit just to have their message on screen lmao.

It's kind of like when people read reviews before buying a product. At least you know that man has been in a relationship before and he's not some kind of weirdo. I do the same with women to a degree. If a woman is in her late 20s and never been in a relationship, it makes me a bit hesitant. Of course, if she's been in 10 relationships, that also makes me hesitant.

It's the only relevant male health procedure in regards to pregnancies. Until something new becomes mainstream like that male birth control pill, vasectomy is the only comparison we have. What else would be the equivalent in your opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/23 11:31 PM
5

That's not how it works lmao. A man can choose to not engage in sex. If he chooses to engage in sex then he should know that there's a risk of pregnancy. Can't have your cake and eat it too. My best friend in high school got a girl pregnant in 11th grade. He became a father during our senior year of HS lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/23 11:06 PM

Living in a rural area doesn't just give you free land lmao. If you're poor, you're still living in a mobile home in like a trailer park. Rich farmers own the land. There was a sod company that owned all the land that the farmers didn't own, where I lived. Now let's say since you're poor, you also have 5-6 people living in that mobile home with just one refrigerator. Guess what? You either have to shop every couple days or you buy a lot of processed foods because they keep longer.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/23 07:11 PM

You've clearly never lived in poor towns. There is no Costco nearby. Groceries are super expensive also because you lose the benefit of low prices due to population (more people means more turnover therefore food doesn't go bad). I used to live in a rural town and groceries cost more than they do here in NYC. Chicken was easily $4/lb because they only sold the small 1-2 lb packages.

Probably because most of America is overweight? I've lived in poor towns in the US and it's a bunch of fat people because processed food is so cheap. Salads/healthy foods are like $5-10 for 300 calories or you could buy some $3 microwave dinner with 500 calories that tastes better.

If women can have the right to abort their baby, can men have the right to Financial abortion from the child. Wouldn't that make it fair? How is that fair? That just pushes the cost to the general public. If you can fuck a woman, you can pay child support. I'm a guy who knows I risk a pregnancy every time I fuck a woman, even with a condom. Every man should know there's a risk of 18 years of payments when you fuck a woman.

Yep. I find that a lot of people are hypocrites on here. They love to say either, not all men or not all women but then don't care about the reverse. The same guy saying, not all men just want casual sex will go on the offense and say every woman will go on a date for a free dinner, for example.

It's a maturity difference, men don't mature at the same rate as women. It doesn't even have to do with being rich but being independent. Guys in their 20s are still living with 3 roommates or their parents. They're still trying to get their careers off the ground or out of debt. They're probably still trying to understand their own emotions and going through that initial bout of depression and quarter life crisis.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 02:48 PM

What are you intending to do after premed? Also 4 years from 26 to 30 is a long time, so much time to improve every aspect of your life. The irony is that they likely have nothing to get squeezed for. All the guys scared about getting divorce graped are most likely broke anyways or sub $10k bank account since that's a majority of people in the US. Also the men who are 30+ virgins, I wonder what they did with their 20s, did they just lock themselves in their house after work (assuming they even worked)?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 07:20 PM

So many men on here have that weird mindset that they'd rather wallow in their despair instead of doing something about it. "The juice is not worth the squeeze" so instead, they'd rather just post "hard truths" on PPD and continue to be angry lol.

Lol are you very young? The game changed when dating apps came out. It's like saying life hasn't changed since we all started carrying mobile computers in our pockets. I'm just saying that life was a lot different 20 years ago. Internet has grown in leaps and bounds since then. I can't imagine what dating was like in the 80s but I'm sure it included snail mail.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 01:59 AM

I've been to house parties a bunch in the past. Who goes around introducing themselves to everyone? I've always just chilled out, found something to drink and if I need a beer pong partner, then I'll hit someone up. PPD is such a weird place imo. You have to take everything said here with a major grain of salt. I've learned over the time I've been here that some people here live through their screens. Some are men who are 40-year-old virgins and waiting for that revenge fantasy to come true. Tons of dudes here in their 30s and 40s that will say one thing and probably do something else if they ever got a chance.

The message doesn't really much. I hate all the canned messages that other guys try and justify. The cringiest shit is when a guy is like "Do you want a knock knock joke, a random train fact or an observation?". Basically he's telling on himself, how big of a simp he is.

I'm an overthinker at times so I'll go over past situations and kind of dissect them. A lot of trial and error when it comes to dating for me.

People are liars. You're reading too much into it. You're going to find bad people because they still exist. Just have to move on. I talked to someone for 2 months only for them to say that they're not ready to date. It sucks but you just have to move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 11:22 AM

What do you mean by West Elm Caleb? Someone who just lovebombs and disappears?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 04:02 AM

No one needs a good reason to reject someone. That's the honest truth. I stopped talking to a woman because she didn't laugh at my jokes. If you have to convince someone to like you, it's probably doomed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 03:37 AM

Tinder and Omegle experiments are biased though because they're through a screen. There's something about that face to face in person that can change how someone is perceived. It's like when you have a facetime call before a first date and get two different feelings from them. Smell is huge else why do people pay hundreds for small bottles of cologne/perfume. One of my most common compliments from women are my hands and trimmed nails. It's weird how often they say I could be a hand model or that…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 03:32 AM
4

It really doesn't matter why she rejected you, just know she doesn't want you. At least that's how I go about my dating life. Getting ghosted and getting the no connection text is the same thing in my book. But it wasn't always that way. I dwelled on someone for years in the past until I realized it was such a waste of time and energy. It really comes down to introspection imo. Figure out what your faults are and fix them, no one is perfect.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 03:27 AM

Depends on how you went about it. I'm a guy but I've gotten approached by women when I'm grocery shopping or out in public and even once at the gym. Most of the time it's women I don't find remotely attractive and I have no idea how she's going to react if I reject her. At first it made me very uncomfortable because I didn't want to lead her on but at the same time I just had no attraction. Now I try to pay a compliment and then say Im already taken even when I'm single.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 03:22 AM

"normal" nowadays is a lot of complaining though. Reddit is notorious for it, just look at any of the major subreddits. It gets tiring being around people who endlessly complain about their shitty job without making any effort to get another job for example. I was working at a restaurant last year and it was just full of customers complaining about Biden.

Learn how to break the touch barrier early on and how to escalate. Even small things like a high five early on is a great way to break the touch barrier.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 01:37 AM
2

Some parts of your personality should be changed though imo. For example, I've been a very cynical person in the past and it's just not fun for anyone involved. Also, people don't like complainers. No one wants to just hear someone constantly complaining about the little things, usually it's better to be chill about the small things.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 01:34 AM

LOL it happens every year unfortunately. I just look on the bright side, those people are the reason I'm getting cheap membership haha. Glad I can get a squat rack or bench now though.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/23 12:41 AM

Your other comment said that your photos on photofeeler had poor results. Probably means it's time to improve that however you can. Gotta be attractive to attract women.

It's so easy but why are so many men fat too? My gym has been back to normal for like 2 weeks now. Everyone who did the new year's resolution has already given up. I remember there was no machine free on January 3rd but now it's most machines free again.

This sounds like an issue for both men and women. A lot of people get married in their 20s so there's of course going to be less people in their 30s left over.

I buy from Amazon like 4 times a month and never gotten something I didn't order. Do people who get wrong items just buy from sellers on there that are not fulfilled by Amazon? I've seen the cheaper prices on some items but you have to pay for shipping so it's never worth it for me.

How often do you think dudes are put in jail for not making enough money?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 10:42 AM

I'm talking about the ones clearly about the military. Drunk driving deaths have nothing to do with age, you can get run over at 5.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 10:37 AM

The issue is not combat jobs but in South Korea for example, you have to put your life on pause for 2 years in your 20s. You get like $600 which is a pittance.

You act like the US doesn't already have around 1.4 million service members and top of the line equipment. Unless the rest of the world is going to gang up on us, this situation sounds very unlikely. If Ukraine had nukes like the US, they wouldn't be pressing people into service, they would just shoot nukes.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 03:55 AM
7

At least in the US, you have to sign up because we have enough volunteers. Whole different ball game when it's mandatory without enough volunteers like in South Korea or Ukraine.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 02:50 AM

Sounds like you haven't been on Facebook much lol. I see the stupid posts with that writing every now and then. "Too young to drink but not too young to die". Saw it a lot when Russia first invaded Ukraine.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 02:48 AM
2

Sometimes that's intentional though. I'm guilty of the fade too. If someone wants to only talk about themselves or steer the conversation away from themselves all the time, I might as well not even be there. Conversation is an art imo, it's a balance but people without social skills usually just tilt it too far one way or the other.

You really think the ugly women are going to be posting selfies on the subreddits en masse? The real eye opener is just going to any Wal-mart in the US. Lots of overweight women and men.

Men without options don't have the luxury of being picky.* I've been pretty picky with women since I don't date fat/ugly/broke women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 09:28 PM

Probably has to do with the fact that some people use dating apps as their only source due to being an introvert or just lacking social skills or a social circle. I've matched with a lot of women who just don't have friends in real life that they hang with.

I think it's the new generation. I'm 29 and date women between 22-32 and it's always the younger naive women who think content creation is a viable career. Sure, there are millionaires from content creation but there are also millionaires from winning the lottery too.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 01:38 AM

Yeah I have a private social media account. No public shit on mines but it is required for dating here in NYC otherwise people think you're either a boomer or a serial killer lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 12:58 AM
1

Yeah, I've met my fair share of women who say they're content creators. I don't date men but I'm sure there are men who say it too. I live in NYC so there are a lot of wannabe "influencers" here. "I'm a content creator with 50k following on Instagram". "Oh wow, good for you that you can afford NYC rent on that". "Well no, my parents have to pay my rent." That's verbatim what someone told me like 2 months ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 12:54 AM

There are a lot of guys on PPD who hate on social media and those who use it. If you read enough threads on here, you'll see what I mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 12:48 AM

Being a content creator is a red flag imo. It's like a guy saying he's a crypto trader.

By that logic, the opt out for men is a vasectomy and subsequent testing to ensure that you're infertile.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 12:20 AM

You can't get money from a broke dude. Go look up the statistics on how often court ordered child support is actually paid. I know a lot of guys from my high school years who had kids and worked a minimum wage job. The court is not going to put them on the streets, so the child only gets what's left.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/23 12:15 AM

Nah, the bulk of those with 5000+ friends are the hustlers, by that I mean people who will add every mutual they can because it's another potential customer. My FB was full of people trying to sell hair products/fake lashes/cosmetics/supplements/classes/clothes/etc. I got nothing against them but I do have to mute or unfriend a lot of them lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 11:59 PM

I wouldn't call her a wack job but that she had her toes in so many circles. Off the top of my head, female engineer, religious, part of a sorority, multiracial, was in the military, went to multiple colleges, tried to break into another industry as a side hustle, big into community service, etc. We were close friends for a bit until we both graduated and grew apart. She was big into "live your best life", honestly felt like she had 30 hours in her day compared to everyone else's 24.

I wonder how many relationships you've been in. I've never been in a relationship with someone who doesn't contribute to the cost early on. Usually, it's within the first couple dates, I'll pick up the first meal and she'll pick up the second.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 09:07 PM
1

Depends how much effort you put in and your network. 120 in a year sounds like you rarely post or you have no network. I had 500 within a month but it was mostly just my network of friends, acquaintances and coworkers. My friend had 5000 within a couple weeks but she also has like 5000 friends on Facebook and she posts a weekly food review thing on Insta.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 07:49 PM
1

If we're talking LinkedIn or maybe Twitter/Facebook then sure. On Instagram though, all I usually see are people trying to push a product at best lol. So many MLMs.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 07:43 PM
3

Shhhh don't crush their dreams like that. If only it took just looks for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 07:26 PM
3

Depends on circumstances imo. I don't think it's that hard to attract women but there's definitely a tier system. Like if you have no interest at all from women, I think most people can look in the mirror and figure out a few reasons why. Dropping the ego is the hard part though. I grew up with a very "things will work out on their own" until I was 22 and living on my own and either working or playing videogames. It wasn't until I decided to hit the gym, dress better and actually put some effort…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 06:57 PM
2

I'm just going off this subs lingo so by HVM I just mean someone who's had casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 06:54 PM

That's just to attract the fat men otherwise they wouldn't have to tell men to hit the gym in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 06:39 PM
5

I think there's a difference between men who did it out of choice. My friend was in the air force for 10 years and stationed in Poland. He dated and married a polish woman and brought her back. It's not that he couldn't find someone in the US, he just wasn't in the US for years. I know another Army guy who found his wife in Korea because he was stationed there as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 06:29 PM
8

Why is every poster on here LARPing as a high value man? So many guys are like "It's not me but it's my brothers who are struggling". This is like the same shit as "My friend needs help getting his dick up, can you help him"? I'm skeptical if we're talking about you or "one of these dudes".
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 04:27 PM
4

It's not mythical but it's also women that I wouldn't stick my dick in either. I went to high school in the poor rural south. Broke ugly people paired up with broke ugly people. It's the same people you'd see if you went to Wal-Mart at 2 am.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 10:05 PM
1

Probably, go ask them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 09:58 PM
2

A fact or statement can still be complaining. I just said if you want to get fucked like fat women are, then be my guest. It's not like fat women are getting attractive women to fuck them, they're getting dicks. So if the market is full of free dicks, that's your choice if you want to be involved for not.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 09:50 PM
1

Why does it matter if I go to upscale bars? I just went to a regular gay bar and was literally getting hit on left and right. Even my fat friend from out of town was getting attention there.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 09:41 PM
2

Everyone wasn't broke though, just the ones who lived in the trailer parks. There were also people who lived in houses and sent their kids to private schools.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 09:37 PM
2

I never said homosexuality was a choice. The choice is if you want to get fucked. Getting fucked by a dude doesn't make you gay, it just means you got fucked by a dude. Maybe they're just super horny, who knows.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 09:28 PM
-1

Then don't change then, nobody is forcing you to change. You're not going to die from not getting sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 09:22 PM
4

Incels complaining about fat women getting dick, maybe they should stop complaining about free dick if they don't want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 08:11 PM
-1

Then lose the weight and get pussy. No one said pussy was free like dick is.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 08:10 PM
9

More like penis is free. Guys like to say that even fat chicks can easily get sex but that's because penis is free. If you want a penis then go get one because they're free. Pussy cost money, people out there paying $400 for an hour of pussy. Probably means most fat guys are not getting that free pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 08:10 PM
5

I mean it was the norm. Living in a double wide with like 6 people and paying $300 in rent. Broke but thats what happens in the poor rural south.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 06:36 PM
24

Who's talking about the Indian guy? The US is majority white people and even the 5'2 bald trailer trash always had a baby momma with him. I lived in the broke south for years. Broke people fucked other broke people.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 06:07 PM

Nah, even fat men can get fucked if they wanted, just download Grindr.

This is a shitpost debate forum, don't base your entire worldview on what you read on Reddit. Most people on here are unhappy in real life and use this as a way to pass the time. Judging from your username, I'd say you're also probably unhappy too just like most people on Reddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 08:22 PM
8

I mean there's limits to it imo. If my wife was addicted to meth and refused to get better, I'd leave her too, especially if we had kids. The last thing I need is for my kids to grow up with drugs in the house. I don't get what you're trying to even get at. My dad had cancer and my mom stayed with him until he passed, even when he couldn't work for years.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 02:14 AM

Shit the same can be said for men too. There's a study that says most men leave their wives when they get cancer.

I find masturbation to be a normal thing, but people will absolutely demonize it. I'm in and out of relationships but even when I'm in a relationship, I still masturbate because it's like 10 mins on a slow morning and I move on to other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 11:07 PM

Depends on where you're at. I still had school prayers in a public high school because I went to school in the bible belt back in the 2010s.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 11:01 PM

You can be book smart and still have no street smarts. I work with very intelligent people who went to ivy league schools and they still do stupid things because they lack common sense.

Sun damage is another big one especially if you live somewhere with a summer season. Fine lines, wrinkles, sunspots, etc. all add unnecessary age to people as they get older. I put on sunscreen regularly in order to avoid the damage.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 07:54 PM
1

Extreme fitness? I hit the gym regularly but I'm not using steroids or counting my calories lmao. Hitting the gym just gives me an outlet to decompress, I used to be a big gamer but gave that up a couple years ago because it got boring. I don't date overweight chicks, come to NYC and you'll see most young people are not overweight. We have to walk everywhere lol, I get 10k steps daily.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 05:24 PM
5

meh I'm also Asian, 5'10, 180 lbs and muscular, good hair, clear skin, white straight teeth, thick eyebrows, narrow eyes and I do fine. I also live in NYC so I'm not trying to find a needle in a haystack in the Midwest. No one is telling me to find a 300 lb woman on here. I also don't go around saying I don't date fat chicks, that's something that doesn't need to be said. Edit: Do you have a career and a social life that includes men and women?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 05:14 PM

I’m just about ready to give up looking for a partner. I’m so tired. You made a post 29 days ago about how hard it is to find decent men and ready to give up. Which is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 04:45 PM
6

I'm not projecting anything lmao, I'm being realistic. I know the internet means jackshit, I'm not on here to get validation either. It just makes you sound like a clown for making a comment downplaying Brady. I don't even like men, but I know he's drowning in pussy if he wanted it. He's single and has more than enough zeros in his bank account as well as the status to back it up. He's not worried about a rando on reddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 04:41 PM
3

Yeah, and Shakira was calling my number on New Year's. Just saying that the chances of him showing interest in you are pretty slim when he has the pick of the litter.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 04:37 PM
7

Don't worry, he's probably not interested in you either.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 04:32 PM
1

I'm definitely not 10% bf lmao, I'm closer to 20% but that's because I'm in the middle of a bulk. You can see my abs if I flex for example. My face is pretty average, but I use sunscreen religiously and have a skincare routine, so I look a lot younger than most people my age. I use crest white strips and have straight teeth so that's a plus too I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 12:39 AM
8

Lmao, the lifestyle chooses you, you don't suddenly just wake up one day with street cred haha. I went to high school in Philly and you don't suddenly just get in with gangs lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 11:31 PM
2

I do well in NYC but I'm also not 5'7 (I'm 5'10 and 180 lbs and fit) or autistic though so your results may vary. Which large city did you try?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 11:28 PM
2

More like they learned how to dress/carry themselves. You don't have to be rich to dress right. I can rock a $15 stainless steel chain from Amazon and thrift my outfits for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 08:03 PM
5

I agree with this, I'm 29 and still get asked if I'm an undergrad in college and carded for alcohol lol. I blame it on sunscreen and my Asian genes.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 08:00 PM

People don't want to be accountable for themselves. So many people push the blame on others.

401K and IRA are assets in the sense that if you're applying for a mortgage, you have to declare them. The bank doesn't really care about the Social Security benefit that you might get in 20 or 30 years whereas 401K/IRA have cash values today.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 01:08 AM
12

I just checked term life for myself (healthy, 29m, 20 year term, 500k insurance) and it's around $500/year. To me that's a drop in the bucket but I'm sure $500 to other people can be better spent in the moment.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 12:55 AM
5

401K/IRA are assets. Retirement benefits would more likely be a pension/Social Security.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 12:50 AM
21

The excuse is that the money could be better spent in the moment. Not everyone has extra income like that in a single income family. No point going into credit card debt just to make sure your term life insurance is paid for imo.

Would you take the risk of a dead bedroom though?

Don't conservatives love to lie and be hypocrites about these things? Their holier-than-thou attitude is cliche at this point. The conservatives who speak out against abortion but have demanded women get abortions if it's their child.

Most people figure out how to have sex by 25. If a man can't figure it out then yeah it's odd imo. At the bare minimum he should know why he's completely sexless, whether that's being unattractive physically or mentally or broke or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 11:20 PM

Stop dating older women. I noticed it when I date too, the older ones are the picky ones who choose when to be traditional when it suits them and when they don't want to be traditional. The younger crowd is more chill in my experience, more go with the flow.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 01:11 PM

It means that you're going to have to get your foot in the door and get experience just like a career. I didn't start off having casual sex, my first experience was with a long term gf. I was bad but I got better over time. She wasn't going to leave me over bad sex because we were more than just fuckbuddies. If we were just fuckbuddies, I don't think it would've lasted more than 2 sessions.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/23 01:04 PM

This is largely location dependent. I lived in the south US and it was normal to be friendly to strangers. Now in NYC, it's like people ignore everyone else unless they need something.

Probably because most guys can't fuck a woman and get her to orgasm due to lack of experience.

Here's the thing, I was you at 21. I had a comp sci degree, above average salary, money in the bank and valuable skills for work. I didn't have any women interested in me though because I literally didn't go out besides to work, the grocery store and if I was motivated, maybe the gym. I spent way too much time online playing videogames and browsing reddit/quora/etc. I'm 29 now, I still have a career as a software dev, but I also try and get out of the house more in order to get out of my bubble.…

This is like saying, the low minimum wage is a way for upper middle-class men to reduce their male competition. Like sure it I have an upper hand because of money but it's not like I can control the minimum wage.

Time and effort is only money if you're a business owner. Most people work 2000 hours a year and don't get paid for the rest. I work 9-5, I don't get paid overtime. So my time at 7pm is not really money, it's just me time.

Most guys are overweight in the US just like most women are overweight. Seems hypocritical to say guys want more than a fatty when they're also likely to be a fatty or broke or whatever the average man is in the US. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week, the New Year's crowd is already dying down. 3 weeks and my gym is almost back to normal after being full after New Year's. Doesn't take long for people to give up.

That's shit that guys should be doing regardless of women. But if he needs a reason then sure, do it for women. I don't need women to motivate me to make more money, I grew in poverty and that's enough motivation to never go back. I don't need women for motivation to get rejected often, I experienced that when I didn't hear back from over 2000 job applications. but is not it nice that mentally ill women can also get sex and feel loved even for a while? Some average men do not even get 1% of that just because they are not tall or they are autistic. You're basically virtue signaling for men here. You're feeling sorry for men because they can't get sex due to not being tall and autistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/23 08:38 PM

So, you're trying to virtue signal for other men? I don't get it lmao. I watch porn, never been shamed for it. I don't broadcast that I watch porn to everyone I meet either. That's still not a source, this is just speculation on your part. If he was so rich, why would he need his family to bankroll the initial $250k? I have friends who are VPs in finance right now, they make around $200k/year but they're nowhere near rich because high salary doesn't mean you save any of it. Who's richer, the guy making $200k/year and saving $10k a year or the guy making $60k/year and saving $15k?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 05:27 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/23 11:47 PM

I used to live in a state with common law marriages and that's just bad decision making on the streamer's end, you'd have to cohabitate for it to be considered common law marriage iirc. It's just like women angry about getting pump and dumped. Guess he'll think twice about living with his girlfriend from now on.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/23 11:07 PM

In a perfect world, people who don't want to be financially and legally tied to someone would just decide not to get married, instead of complaining about it after the fact.

I live in NYC and those prices are super cheap. I don't remember the last time a coffee was only $3.50 unless you're talking a small black coffee. Once you add in the milk for a latte or whatever, it goes up to like $6. $8 mini golf? Yeah, more like $20. $15 brunch? Only if you just get appetizers and a drink maybe. Don't forget Tip. Are you sure you're not in the midwest or the suburbs?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/23 08:22 PM

The same can be said about women who turned into an OnlyFans creator and made bank. Wasn't it Amouranth who made millions from Twitch/OnlyFans/etc. and her husband was some nobody she married before she made it big? Taylor Swift's boyfriend will also cash in if or when they get married too.

Why not require women to wear suits/ties because men also wear suits/ties? I think it's silly though to require covering up your arms when it's not a normal dress code in our society. If this was Iran, then sure but it's not.

What exactly is wrong with buying something you want? You might not pay the $77k for the car but I bet they sell thousands of that model every year. Who cares what you value or what you see as a false sense of spending if it's not your money that they're spending. If it is your money, then you're not compatible and should probably break up. Also, it's not just women, what about men who spend $250k+ on a Lambo or Ferrari?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 03:57 PM

My point was that comparing penis to pussy is stupid because one has zero value to anyone. Anyone, man or woman can get a free penis in their bed tonight as long as they're not in the middle of nowhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 03:44 PM
6

That's because penis is free. If you want one, then try out grindr. Even unattractive men can get "dates" off grindr.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 03:05 PM
2

Sure, men can go on grindr and do the same thing. It has nothing to do with women and more to do with the fact that men will take anything with a hole including other men. If you want a penis, then go on Grindr.

Some people are great as friends and terrible as a partner. For example, people who say yes to everything. If I have a friend who's willing to lend money to their friends, cool. If my wife is someone who's willing to lend our money to friends, nah fuck that, that's my money too.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 02:57 PM

Sounds more like you're a masochist if you go out seeking people who hate you. I didn't even know who Drew Afualo was, had to look her up. You can pretty much find someone popular to hate on anything. I mean even Kanye started saying the quiet things out loud and became a literal Nazi. Do you think Drew Afualo cares what men think of her? She's probably making bank off her simps regardless, she's just like the female version of Andrew Tate.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 05:04 AM

Confidence doesn't mean being loud or not giving a fuck and being a rebel or whatever. If you're not going to give a fuck and just want to piss people off, then yeah, you're going to come across as an asshole.

I mean I have separate goals from a relationship. I want to visit multiple countries, retire my mom, try different food, experience different cultures and events. Are you saying she's not willing to do any of that if it's not the ballet? Like I can get my partner to dress up nice for dinner and then go watch a movie we both want to watch or see a stand-up comedy set or music artist that we're both interested in, that then leads to sex at home as well. I'm just wondering if the ballet is required.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 12:29 AM

I always found date night to be better if it's a mutually interesting thing. No idea why I would ever go to the ballet as a date night especially if it's not of extreme importance to her. I'd just suggest doing something else like going to a nice restaurant or some other fun activity.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 12:19 AM

I'm sure a growing percentage of people are also getting fatter and even more broke. Probably correlates with people who are not dating because they just have no options. Like do you date? If you don't date, is it because you have no options?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/23 12:15 AM

If you're not sexually compatible then break up. So you would be fine if your partner slept with someone else because he had wanted sex more often than you?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/23 11:38 PM
4

Depends on your lifestyle and if you're dating. If you stay at home all day after work, then sure it's cheaper. I did that in the past where I was saving over half my paycheck every month. Nowadays though, I spend more on clothes/food/experiences like music/movies/restaurants/etc. Child-free doesn't mean you're not dating; in fact it gives you more time to date in my experience.

I don't expect my partner to just "suck it up" and just go with me. I like to watch the World Championship of LoL every year. You've been in a relationship where there's absolutely no disagreements because she's so infatuated with you? I call bullshit because no one is perfect which means no relationship is perfect either. Like I said, this sounds like some fantasy that men tell other men in the internet. Better yet, did you hear this from Tate or some RP influencer?

Exactly, so her going to Europe vs staying in NYC and cheating on me, doesn't really change anything. I'd just end the relationship. I mean she can be on my side without defending my honor or whatever. As long as she's not the one insulting me for no reason then I really don't care what others say. To me, that sounds like an incompatibility. It's just like if a man was childfree, I hope his wife doesn't just decide to get knocked up by the neighbor.

I don't find it hard to believe that 80% of Americans don't go to the gym. I find it hard to believe that people who want to go to the gym are unable to go. Like if you don't want to go then of course you're not going to go if it's not required. You said Most people can't even get to the gym 3 times a WEEK When it's actually something along the lines of Most people don't want to go to the gym 3 times a WEEK

Sounds like you can't handle having your ego bruised. For me personally, I don't have this "stand by your man" requirement from my partner if there's a hint of truth to it. Like if someone called me stupid after I did something stupid then sure I deserved it. If someone said something racist, I don't see the point of telling them off because it's not going to change their mind anyways. I'd just choose to cut those racist people from our lives and if she continues to hang around them then I'd bre…

Most people can't even get to the gym 3 times a WEEK. Don't act like this isn't worthy of questioning. More like they don't prioritize it. I find it hard to believe some people can't make it to the 24 hour gym for 30 mins to an hour. Like what are they doing with their time? Newborn? I think those people just don't want to work out.

I don't give up easy, but I also know when I want to call it quits. I put all my effort into a relationship when I'm in one, but I also know that if I'm the only one putting in 100% then that's a relationship I don't want to be a part of. It's a mutual effort to keep a relationship going.

A lot of Americans also rent instead of own their place. I know every apartment I lived at didn't allow us to change our oil on premise. Why would I buy oil and then find a spot to change it when I can just pay $20 and have someone do all the work. I spend an extra $5 and save myself so much work/clean up.

I can see people letting themselves go during a relationship and then wondering where the sexual spark went. For example, men and women will stop going to the gym and start putting on weight OR they might just stop date nights altogether. At that point, it's like a roommate who just happen to have kids together kind of situation.

I'm not the best dancer but I got better with YouTube and a full-length mirror in my living room. I'm naturally really bad with rhythm but I can at least look like I know what I'm doing. Again, you're the common denominator. If you can't meet people, then move. I moved 12 hours away last year after planning the move for 5 years. If you're unable to have success where you're at then make a plan and take action. I would've moved after 3 years of saving up, but Covid got in the way. If you want to stay due to family/job/whatever, then that's your own choice and there's nothing anyone else can do for you then.

I mean if you can't talk and strike up a conversation then yeah, I'd call that socially awkward. Like do they expect the women to always take the lead in conversations? You don't need to have anything to talk about, just small talk. "Hey, I like your shoes, where'd you get them" or "That's a sick tattoo, I've been thinking of getting one too." Easy shit.

Sure, if you're super short then yeah but above 5'5 or so and fitness becomes more important imo. Just need to find a 5'3 chick at the club to make sure you're taller than her. But if you're 4'11 then yeah, good luck finding a 4'9 chick.

I agree that it would have to be a discussion point beforehand. I get that you get what you pay for, but nothing can buy undivided attention and unconditional love. By that I mean, you can't find a daycare that is really going to go above and beyond, they're just going to provide what you pay for. I could care less about the yoga or speaking 3 languages but more so the ability to just give all your attention to the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/23 09:48 PM

I mean if they want their kids raised by one of them and she makes more money then yeah, it's on him to stay home. You might not care about who raises/takes care of your kids, but some people do. I personally will not put my kids in daycare because I was in daycare as a kid and it was awful. It seems like you don't understand how dating works. Do you regularly date women? It sounds like you're one of the users on here that has no experience dating and hopes everyone just does the bare minimum along with you. The guys who say they have a job and are not fat, and now deserve a woman.

Depends on what stage in life you're in. If you want the stability and everything that comes with it then cool. I'm in a phase where I'm not looking to settle down and have kids anytime soon, so dating around is great because I don't have to hold myself accountable to someone else either. It's a good thing if you enjoy getting no dates or a dead bedroom. Physical appearance is one of the most important parts when it comes to attraction. The only people who say it's a good thing to not care about your appearance are the ones who are not trying to find a date or that handle rejection extremely well. If you're not trying to date other people, then sure don't put effort into your clothes. No issue with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/23 05:46 PM

It adds another dimension to someone. Someone who can dress vs someone who can't dress says a lot about them. I don't care about the latest trends but if you go around wearing clothes that are old/torn or too big/too small, it probably means you don't care about your appearance.

Now it's 2%? Can you show these stats? I'm definitely not 8 9 or 10 and I hooked up over the summer up to just before halloween weekend on the apps. I'm in that sweet spot at 29 imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/23 05:16 PM

Yeah, if you're around 30 then it's a buffet in cities like NYC. 25 might make you too young for women who are also 25 and 40 makes you too old for some women imo.

Most of the US is overweight, even the military has physical requirements. If you can't pass the PT test, the military doesn't want you. If you're too old, the military doesn't want you. It's not some free meal ticket nor do you make 6 figures off the bat. I know a lot of people who make $1900/month and they leave the military after 4 years barely making more than $2000/month. LMAO, you really fucking for an hour? God damn you must have found all the nymphos. Most women I have sex with is like 20-30 mins tops. Quickies are like 10 mins. I'm in great shape too so it's not a stamina issue. Most people don't fuck for an hour everyday unless you're a student/unemployed.

You clearly don't get out lol. I don't think there's any guy who's desired by majority of women. Like even Future gets a lot of women but he's so polarizing that he also turns off a lot of women.

No going to lie, if my girlfriend got fat, lost her job or started whining all the time, I'd be gone too. I think that's human nature. Some people might not leave because they feel like they have no other options though or they're afraid of being alone/single.

Don't men who want submissive women, frame a relationship as a leader and a follower? I don't want a follower; I want a partner. I'll judge the decision based on merit rather than who came up with the idea. If she has a better idea, then I'm all ears.

Also diplomas are certifications. Diplomas don't certify anything because there are no standardizations. A diploma from two different schools means different things. A computer science degree from Stanford holds more weight than a computer science degree from ASU online school. If degrees meant anything, why do nurses and doctors still have to take board exams after graduation? Why do lawyers need to take the bar exam after law school? NYC apps are still hit or miss but if you go out to the clubs/bars then yeah it's pretty good imo. Add in dating through mutual friends and it's great, at least in my experience. I'm not religious nor Hispanic so don't really know about that stuff.

Average women in the US weighs 170 lbs. Maybe you're into fat chicks but if a woman is not fat, she's already above average in my books. She might not be drop dead gorgeous or a sex symbol but I'd give her a chance if we vibe. I spent the last 10+ years prior to this year in the south where you'd find the average woman weighing that 170 lbs and it was such a turnoff.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/23 04:07 AM
3

Eh they're all above average if you count the fact that they're not overweight. A lot of the younger women around here are slim so that already puts them above average. Probably has to do with the fact that everyone walks here in NYC. I get daily 10k steps easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/23 03:59 AM

Using apps is like using LinkedIn or Indeed for a job. It's a last resort if you have zero connections. I met most of my exes through mutual friends. No one takes dating apps seriously, maybe there's one person who does but most people swipe nonchalantly. It's like hoping to get a great job off LinkedIn, might happen but 90% of the time, you're gonna get ghosted. It's not what you know, it's who you know in this day and age.

Blue pill is not some sort of common belief though. It's just what the red pill calls people who don't believe in TRP. Personally I don't believe the TRP idea that only the top 20% do well in dating. I look through post histories sometimes to get a sense of someone because I have zero idea about them beforehand. Can you explain where I was wrong? My point was that your value is determined by the market. If you tried to get a job tomorrow for 100k/year and no one offers you that job, would you still be worth that salary? I'd say no. If you put a car up for $5000 on craigslist and no one called you up for a year, is that car really worth $5000? I'd say no. Same thing applies to dating. If I as…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/23 03:21 AM

If she's the best that you can do, then yeah, you're in the same league. Dating is not some kind of trading card game where I can trade my S-tier card for your S-tier card. It's literally putting yourself on the market and seeing what you can get. I might think I'm above obese women and if I couldn't even attract them then I'm not even in their league. It's just like the job market, if I think I'm worth 300k/year and I can't get a job offer then I'm only worth what someone is willing to pay me.

Does it matter what I think if they're worthy or not? I'm a dude dating women, I really don't have a say whether they're worthy or not. At least those guys get out and meet people and try to find real friends. The hardcore incels just stick to their online echo chambers and mute/block people who disagree with them. Can't really just block someone in a real-life meetup with the ease of pressing a button. I've gotten blocked on here for stupid reasons because of people's fragile egos. Last one who blocked me was because the guy said that TRT/steroids should be free so that he could lift weights while on disability payments lmfao.

On dating apps sure but that's due to a population inequality. 9 men to every woman on Tinder would give even an obese ugly woman more matches than a man, especially since men will even swipe right on everyone and filter through the matches to find options.

Here's what I did, back in 2021, I spent a month here in NYC during the summer as a vacation/WFH just to feel it out. After I liked it here more than the south, I got my ducks in a row and moved during the beginning of this year. Don't just move out here before you test drive living here for a bit. I was in a similar situation like you, too scared to pull the trigger early on because I would have to move away from family as well. But I'm glad I finally made the move.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 12:19 AM

Here's my advice, move away from the midwest and don't move to the south either. I'm also Asian and had no luck in the south but I'm having a lot more success in NYC now. It took me like 5 years after graduation to move but I did it eventually. You don't need to rush it but know that it's another world in terms of dating options.

Here's the thing, you can be both good and not valuable to the market. You can think of yourself as a good man but if no one wants you then you're not valuable, you're just good. Not sure what you're trying to argue here. I'm just saying if you have no/low options when it comes to dating then your value is not as high as you think it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 07:31 PM
1

Great that's exactly how I was trying to explain dating. Except there's ways to objectively measure a stock without looking at the market price. The market price is just reflective of demand. You look at the financial statements (the objective part) then make a decision based on your interpretation of that data that's subjective part. You base dating on the options you have. The matches or women who actually want to go on a date with you. You don't just give yourself a value and look for someone…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 07:29 PM
1

Yeah, if you live in delusional land. I'm sure all the Tesla fanboys think the stock is still worth $400 when it's sitting at $125 now. The market doesn't give a shit about subjective value because you can't trade on it. I got a big portfolio of US stocks, international stocks and Bonds. I follow the market because that's the going price. Good luck trading on your subjective values.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 07:17 PM
1

In other words, your definition of "True Value" means nothing to the market if it's just subjective. I could say my car is worth $25,000 to me but if I can't sell it for that much then that's pretty stupid of me. Same with a job. If I said my work is worth $300k/year and no one offers me that salary, then I also look silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 07:06 PM
1

What does true value even mean if no one is willing to pay that? If a company is overvalued and people are willing to pay, then that is its true value at the time. It might not make sense in regard to P/E but that doesn't mean it's a fake value. It's just like any other market; it's determined by the participants of the market. If a company is incredibly overvalued and no one wants to sell it for less, then guess what? It's the true value at the time. You could've said Tesla was way overvalued b…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 07:00 PM
1

If you beat that person in all categories but you can't find anyone better, then that probably means your own value is not much higher. The market determines your value, if you can't find someone more attractive, then the reality is that you're not as attractive as you think you are. If that means, you'll be happy alone then more power to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 06:16 PM
2

That's not my point, I'm saying it depends on the market. If you're unable to get the person you want, then you could be asking for too much. If you're getting options, then more power to you. Dating is not some sort of Trading Card Game where you trade equal value, rather it depends on what you're able to get. Ugly fat billionaire can still get the 10/10 model.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 06:06 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 05:41 PM

I mean who are you though? If you're someone who's chronically single and unable to get that person, then maybe you are asking for too much. I could say my standards are a Victoria Secret or Playboy model, but all my friends would clown the shit out of me because I'm an average looking man.

Inflation is 7% right now and it's probably most likely going to go down as interest rates increase and less free money is printed. $40k is still livable in the south since that's the equivalent of $20/hour. Where do you live?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 04:04 PM
1

I mean if you're not striving for society's standards then you can't say that women seem to want a solved man. They want someone who's going to go along with society because that's how we are raised, men and women. I don't want a wife who doesn't want to work or take care of children because it's a society standard. In another society, women might be the fighters but that's not the case in ours.

I mean I lived in a southern city of around 200k people and 60k was enough to live comfortably and save. It's not going to go far in NYC or LA or Miami, but this country is a lot bigger than just the major cities.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 03:41 PM

That depends on what you define as livable, it's not going to afford you a nice car/house/dinners but it's far from barely livable.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 03:29 PM
1

Everyone starts somewhere, I lived with roommates until I could afford my own place in a cheap area ($1100/month). Then I moved back with roommates because I lived in my own place for 5 years and it was great until the pandemic lockdown. Been living with roommates again this year and it's been good so far, have to share the kitchen but it is what it is. It's also like $3000/month for a solo apartment where I'm living so I'll take the discounted roommate rent.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/22 03:22 PM
1

So how much does an apartment cost there? $600-$1000/month? Also, even if a master's is free, time is still money unless you're working for free. I'm not losing 2 years of full-time salary to get paid part-time and pursue a master's.

It's definitely how you grew up. I'm an Asian man who went to a high school with 95% black people as the only Asian kid. Pretty much meant I grew up liking a different sort of aesthetic lmao.

Stalking? It's literally front and center on your profile, this is Reddit lmfao. Guess it's out of your control though to support yourself as an adult.

Bald only works if you got the head shape for it otherwise you're going to be wearing a hat 99% of the time. I'm 29 and I know all of my friends who are balding because they either show it or their hat is glued on their scalp and I haven't seen their bare head in years.

Not necessarily, I'm not Tradcon and I have Tradcon friends. I met some of my friends clubbing and they had Tradcon friends who don't club. I made friends with some guys from the gym and then got invited to hang out afterwards and they have Tradcon friends too.

I just see it as an added bonus. I'm going to hang out with friends even when I'm in relationships. Not as often as I did when I was in school but monthly get togethers are usually what I do now. Halloween party, Friendsgiving party, White Elephant Christmas party to name the last few get togethers. Going to small New Year's gathering in a couple days as well. I'm not an extrovert but I do enjoy hanging out with friends on a regular basis.

I mean it's not really controversial imo, I even agree with your premise if you see my comment above. My father was a provider and that was pretty much it. He was absent from my life, took no interest in my hobbies, didn't make time to even go to my graduation, no congratulations on awards, etc. If I needed help or support, I went to my mom, she was always the one praising me and my biggest cheerleader. My father didn't have a good childhood or an easy life, so I don't put all the blame on him t…

I mean that's like saying women who get breast implants tend to have back problems. It's a choice, no one said it wouldn't have consequences. I could say going to the gym every day for the past month has me very sore but I'm not going to stop though.

Incels are not bad boys though, they don't even have the brain capacity to think past their defeatist attitudes. Now imagine if they had to think about going their own way against social norms in order to be the bad boy.

I mean those traits just make you a good person and by extension a good person makes a better candidate for a father but that's only if you want to compare it to criminals and abusers. It gives off "Nice Guy" vibes to say that you're a good person so you would be a good father just like how they think because they're nice then they would be a good boyfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 07:24 PM
11

The traits you named doesn't really say anything about being a good father. My own father was all of that, but he was a terrible father. He was a provider but that was it basically. He was absent from most of my life, never took an interest in my hobbies, didn't even come to my graduation, super petty when it came to mistakes, etc.

You can already modify height but it's not exactly cheap because the supply vs demand. Even men who are 5'11 want to be 6'2 for example and they have the money to pay for it. It's expensive, like $50k USD for 3 inches. Once it's super affordable then no one is tall at that point and then the goalposts move on just like how not many people have very crooked teeth due to how affordable braces are. https://heightlengthening.com/picture-gallery/

What exactly is a father material guy? I'm a man as well but I wouldn't call myself a father material because I don't have any children. I think I'd make a good father but who knows, all I can do is speculate.

Hahahaha, rich people provide to third world countries, buy all sorts of crap but they would be broke by providing for one other person. Sure. I meant more so if they went broke from losing their job or something. I have a family friend that was a millionaire until he had to pay for cancer treatment and ended up selling the house. The amount of stress that his wife was under was crazy considering on one hand her husband has cancer and on the other hand, she needs to find a way to pay for shit si…

I see, well good luck with that mindset, I guess. One of my best friends is a woman who I met through gaming actually. It just happened that we lived 2 hours from each other. I think one of the best things that helped me understand women was having someone I could bounce questions off of. I wasn't her type so there was no chance of anything romantic, but she makes a killer wingman. I've dated 2 of her friends over the years not counting people we meet out in public.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 11:29 PM

Lmao, then there's one of your issues. You're a product of the people you surround yourself with. If you can't even be friends with a woman that you'd want to date, then that says a lot imo.

Where are you looking? Do you have a good size social circle? And are you ugly? Half my family (my mother's side) are all very short. My uncle is 5'3, one of my cousin is 5'2, etc. They're all married with kids.

And I never said my dad was rich. I said living on your dad's money is easy. I was responding to what you said here. I think living on your dad's money is only easy if you're lazy and you want to depend on someone or if you have extravagant lifestyle choices. I don't think it's easy because I'd be stressed out on the off chance that he went broke. I find that my life is much easier when I depend on myself to pay for my own cost of living. But to be on topic, it's not exactly easy because no one …

You got to bring something to the table. Maybe it's the way I grew up that I don't take offense with having money. I was taught that men are the providers and that I'd need a house/car/career before getting married. I'm not spending stacks to buy women bags and shit, but I do pay for expensive dates (not first dates though) and whatnot.

Even if eye color doesn't do anything, it's still the same as having a rich father or being tall or being Asian. All of these traits are out of our control, it's not like we start life as a game like Runescape and choose the attributes we want.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 10:46 PM

Living on your dad's money is neither hard nor easy, it's like saying having blue eyes is easy. Those things are out of our control, we don't choose who our fathers are.

There's a difference between going from ugly to handsome and going from average to handsome. Sure, if you have those unfortunate traits then being lean might not help as much but most people don't have a crooked nose or uneven eyes or large ears. Most people are average hence the definition of the word.

Here's one issue that I was told from my friend who works for a homeless shelter. They don't allow drugs or alcohol and plenty of men will absolutely stay out by choice because they can't smoke or drink in there, let alone any illegal drugs. This also means if you're drunk or high, you're going to be denied as well. You come off as someone who has no real-world experience and just bases everything off what you read on the internet.

Bullshit, go watch any of the current influencers. They spend like 10% of the time telling men to improve themselves and 90% of the time bashing on women. Guarantee you that the guys watching them are probably going to the bathroom/grabbing more popcorn when the topic is improving themselves.

Way to move the goalposts lmfao. I just don't bother trying to get the last word nor do I even date fat women in the first place. If she's disrespectful to me then I just unmatch and move on. Sounds like my younger self. You need a IDGAF attitude when it comes to women. Sounds like you had it and then you lost it when you started wanting them and becoming desperate. I don't care about women above my own goals. I want to bulk this winter and not drink/eat dessert all the time on dates lol.

Nothing wrong with giving up and moving on to other things. The issue is when they don't move on to other things and continue to resent others for their own failure. The MGTOW movement is a prime example. They say they're going their own way, but all the posts on their sub were just about bashing on women lmao.

The difference is that she can just go on to the next option. What exactly are you going to do as a guy? If you had options as a guy, you wouldn't even be entertaining a fat woman in the first place.

That's what TRP used to be about, nowadays it's been hijacked by grifters. I agreed with most of the old ideas, but the new TRP media has me scratching my head half the time and laughing the other half. On F&F, they were asking people if they would rather have a male pilot or a female pilot, that's literally what it's gone to. 99% of people will never even have the ability to make that choice lmao. It's not like I can just choose a male pilot when I book a ticket on Delta.

They enjoy being told that women will hit the wall at 30 and that women's value goes down as her partner count goes up. Go watch an F&F podcast, it's like 20 mins of bashing men and then 2 hours of bashing women. If you're a red-pilled man, just make sure you're grabbing popcorn while they're bashing men so you can skip that part. /s

Then it sounds like you got most of it down already then. You just have to learn how to tone down the weirdness at first since everyone can be awkward or nervous on first dates. Just don't be the person who's talking about a serial killer or negative topic off the rip. I'd recommend not asking a girl to take out her earphones just to ask her out. Make it more natural.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/22 06:39 PM

It's frustrating because you're going in there with the same expectations as Chad. It's a mindset change that worked for me after I talked to my Chad roommate. He goes into interactions with a no big deal mentality if he gets rejected. He doesn't cry or feel sad, he laughs it off like it's her loss and moves on.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/22 12:51 PM

If you're awkward, then fix that first. Be social, make friends and develop normal social skills and then approach women. Don't run before you can walk. I'm probably the most awkward person naturally. I worked in a customer facing role in high school to get over it. Then after lockdown I lost a lot of my social skills until I worked in another customer facing role.

That would mean that men are getting into relationships sooner then, unless you're saying they get married after being in a relationship for less than 12 months. Let's be real, there's enough porn in the world right now to satisfy any person for a lifetime. If you like BBW porn, there's thousands if not millions of hours online. If you like petite Asian porn, same thing. BBC fetish? They got you covered too.

I guess you haven't dated much in the last years especially after the pandemic. It's a lot easier said than done to say that women will give you the chance in bars if you're not looking great. Women nowadays are a lot pickier than they used to be, in this age with social media. I'm almost 30 so have seen what it was like dating before the apps and to say that the apps didn't have an effect on in person approach would be a lie. Standards have gone up, going to the gym is so mainstream now. Fitnes…

A pick-me is basically a man or women who says they're not like other men or women. Your comment about being in touch with your emotions and throwing the back-hand remark of asking if it's gay, gives off that energy. My self confidence is great but I've always been able to fake confidence since high school. I'd just count to 3 and it turns on basically because I needed it to earn money from tips. I can chat a man or woman and keep a decent conversation going if I want to. If you're old like you …

I agree with some of the things they say but I don't care about some parts either. For example, I know I have to keep my money up, keep my body in shape, groom, dress, etc. I value a woman's education and earning potential which some red-pill guys don't, but shit happens and if I'm unable to provide, she needs to be able to feed the kids. I don't care much about the high-n things that they spout because nobody I've dated ever talks about that. The entire high-n argument just seems like a reddit …

You honestly sound like a pick-me, but I'll bite. I'm in touch with my emotions as well, nothing wrong with that. Online dating is one of the most prevalent ways of dating nowadays which is why people focus on it. I also date through mutual friends but that only leads to a few new people every couple of months. I use dating apps to supplement that because I don't go to clubs much anymore and where else are you going to find thousands of other people who are open to dating. I don't really care fo…

You are the frontrunner of that genetic line This is only true if you only get the best traits of your parents which we all know is not reality. My dad was born a peasant, but he had model tier looks. Money couldn't buy his genetics. I've gotten some of his traits as well as some from my mom.

values? Life experiences? Personality? Feelings and so much more? If we're talking about the current dating dynamics with an emphasis on dating apps, those really don't matter unless you pass the looks threshold. Do you live in the city and socialize? I'm probably a 6 and I get attention but mostly through social circle. You'd have to be even more conventionally attractive to have women forcing themselves on you but I still get IOIs. My friend literally gets women touching him though when we go out but he's probably a 10 in his niche. He's got that boyish charm like this pic of JB, where he's cleanshaven with that skater hair and tats.

Average looking face doesn't mean you're a 2 lmao. 2 is an ugly face that might even be scarred, on the flip side 10 is pure genetics. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. Going from a 5 to a 6 or 7 is doable though.

What Chads do you hang around lmao? I lived with a Chad in college, and he was bringing home hot sorority girls all the time, no overweight/obese girls with butterfaces. I mean didn't the Vikings trace their lineage through their fathers? I think their last names were literally son of whoever, like Sorensen or whatever. Patriarchy just means the father is the head of the household and the lineage goes through the father. It has nothing to do with equal rights unless you mean theres an equal right for children to take the mother's last name and have her as the head of household.

Most people date within a 5 year age difference. Dating older doesn't really help imo because generally speaking, the good ones are taken early in their 20s. I'm 29 and still dating women from 22-28. My sex drive is still incredibly high maybe because I stay in shape and eat very clean. She was a very innocent church going girl. I didn't know if she knew she was asexual or not. It's in the past now so no sweat but I'm not waiting past a month anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 06:53 PM
1

If it doesn't go together for most young men then it's not common and thus fits the saying unless you're a woman loving woman. Like I said above, I don't feel an emotional attachment until sex hence why I can break up a relationship rather quickly if we're not sexually compatible. I did the waiting for 6 months in the past and it was the biggest letdown because I found out she was actually asexual. Rip 6 months. I got nothing against her personally but we were just not going to last.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 06:40 PM
1

Having your cake and eating it is just a figure of speech, it's about having two things that don't usually come together. If they came together often, you wouldn't have been so frustrated. It reminds me of when I dated in my early 20s in the bible belt. Me being a person who doesn't go to church and then getting rejected because I wasn't someone, they could bring home to their god-fearing parents.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 05:31 PM

I mean there's only 1/5 the women on dating apps as there are men. It's not like 100 men to 100 women. So, it's like men find a nice smooth bell curve of the women who use filters/makeup on apps attractive compared to the women who find men with shit pictures and pictures of fish unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 05:22 PM

I only found most of the nursing and marketing women attractive. Most of the women in engineering/math/science/etc were butterfaces.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 05:09 PM
1

Your cake is that you wanted someone to stick around until you built an emotional connection. You can have that, but you can't expect people to wait around for that to happen. I'll wait a few weeks or a month for sex if there's other intimacy but I'm not waiting 2-3 months like some women want. 3 months is a huge investment of time/money considering the dates every 1-2 weeks add up. For me personally, I don't become emotionally attached to someone until after sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 05:00 PM

It's like you set yourself up for frustration. You eat your cake and then you're frustrated that it's gone. You set up this barrier and then you're frustrated when they leave. I'd say just accept that it was out of your control. If a woman told me she wanted kids right now, I'll immediately walk out that door. No questions asked and I wouldn't even give it a second thought.

There's a difference between an army of simps and no attention at all. If there's zero attention then it makes me think if she has a bitch personality or something if she's not ugly. Like why else is an attractive woman getting zero attention. It's like you go to take the subway and every car is full but one car in the middle. You wonder why only to find out that someone take a shit in it.

I said it would be weird and I'd wonder why, not that it's a red flag. Of course I understand that ugly/boring looking women exist just like ugly and boring looking men exist. The thing is that no one could've predicted how big content creation would become. I'm 29 but when I was 15, content creation didn't pay anything. The only people who did it then did it because they enjoyed making content and didn't think about the potential business. People like NigaHiga, KevJumba, Shane Dawson, Jenna Marbles to name a few. Red pill doesn't teach you shit about actual business though. If I was 15 again, I'd probably be a millionaire before 25 but that would also include adding in 10 years of maturing and giving up videogames then. I don't play videogames anymore but to say that I would've given them up at that age is just delusional and hindsight bias. The issue is that you were taking the advice of the past generation instead of from your peers. I never asked my dad how to date women because he was from a different generation. I guess I'm more of the tangible options. I don't even use the world as a metric because long distance relationships are known to be difficult to sustain, especially if you didn't start off together. What good is a perceived option if I can't take them on a date this week?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 07:34 PM
2

I've gone along with the process in the past. It gets weird when you involve family early on though because like the OP said, it's all about the other factors like car/house/career and the family puts actual attraction pretty low on the totem pole. Also, there's really no way to judge sexual chemistry so you could end up in a dead bedroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 07:11 PM

By options I mean how many dates can you line up. That's an actual number if you're dating because if you're asking women out and you're getting no interest or no matches on OLD then your options are zero, that's hardly subjective and the honest truth.

I'm not talking about "The One", but rather someone who checks my boxes. Choosing a partner is arguably the biggest decision of your life and I have enough assets that I'm not just going about it willy-nilly. I date with intention but also don't fantasize about future timelines anymore.

I think it's just different norms here in NYC, people don't settle down as quickly. Also 200k in NYC doesn't go as far as it does somewhere else, especially with the taxes and cost of living here. In the bible belt, people generally settle down after college for example. Here though, I'm still looking for my person but there are a ton of options because of the population. Should I have just settled down with the first woman who showed interest?

Depends on your own status. I constantly get asked by my mom's friends/relatives to go on blind dates with their nieces/daughters/etc. They look at me like a playboy rather than a violent threat because I'm enjoying life at 29 instead of settling down already with kids. People get fired for all sorts of reasons, it's at-will employment here in the US. As long as it's not because of a protected class like race/gender/disability/etc. then you can get fired. I know someone who got fired because they had a beard in a position that was not client facing. I don't get why having a beard mattered when they worked in a cubicle, but it is what it is. I'm 29, 5'10 and that took a bit of time to adjust to casual sex. It's like going to dinner with a friend vs a girlfriend, compartmentalizing it all. I used to be the guy that after the first date, I would be thinking of our future together. But once I got ghosted a few times, I had to change my mindset. It's about setting realistic expectations and not counting your eggs before they hatch. We're not exclusive until we have the DTR talk. Until then, I live in the moment and have fun. It also hel…

Personally, I don't date average income women either. I'm a dude making six figures, but my lifestyle wouldn't mesh with someone making 30k. It just doesn't seem compatible when I'm able to put 80-90k a year into investment and retirement savings and she's struggling to pay her bills. I also can see why women don't want to date a man making 50k unless he's attractive because the relationship probably is not going to last. Money is one of the biggest factors of divorce so why even go down that ro…

Do you workout regularly? Like you can skip the tattoos and piercings if you want like me. But I also work out 3-4 times a week. Being in shape definitely helps me with women, I'm not crazy shredded either. Used to be though when I went 6 times a week and it was great for dating as well but I don't have the time anymore.

I mean I work with a bunch of professionals and they usually have tattoos that can be hidden under a dress shirt. That means no face/neck/hand tats and preferably nothing big on the wrists/forearms. Muscles will always be conventionally attractive. Some women might not like them but most do.

She probably is, I'm not dating anyone exclusively right now. Everyone is having casual sex here in NYC. We did something Friday but for all I know, she had someone else on Saturday but that really doesn't bother me.

I don't even give her number to mutual friends before asking her. Sounds like a shit thing to do with someone else's contact info.

I went lower in looks earlier this year because there was more chemistry and it didn't feel like I was pulling teeth trying to make conversation with her. I didn't want to talk about the latest TikTok memes or whatever was happening in Pop culture like Kanye. In the end though neither would've worked out in the long run. I need that crazy feeling of desire and chemistry at the same time.

One sign is when you jump straight into sexual talk early in the conversation. Like you have zero social grace.

It's not actual experience though, you think the steamer actually gets to the stage of seeing their dicks in person? It's the perceived feeling that she's better than you and going to expect more.

Plenty of guys are afraid to ask the hottest girl at the bar. I remember talking to a few that said only 2 guys came up to her in a night, literal Instagram models. Guys will absolutely ask out lower tier women because the risk vs reward. Nobody likes having their ego shattered by a public rejection.

That's where muscles, tattoos, piercings come into play. It's not a magic solution but that's typically what some of my friends did in order to become that fboy vibe. They also got a perm to change their hair texture in order to get waves.

That's a terrible argument. I don't think I'm going to get robbed at home but I still lock my door because why not. Takes me 2 seconds to turn the lock and 2 seconds to open it with a key.

I mean they don't care that much about a man being super tall but they definitely want someone who's taller than them when wearing heels. I'm 5'10 and definitely date some women because I meet their height threshold. I'm not saying 6'5 is instant pussy because you still need to meet a looks threshold too. I just looked at your post history, it seems like if you're paying for sex only, I'd hardly call you handsome since even short handsome dudes can get sex.

Doesn't matter if the person who's saying it isn't sleeping with you. I've heard some of my friends being called cute or handsome but it was just pity compliments. The friend that never gets laid but all the women in our friend group just try to make him feel better. It's the same thing as women calling a guy she doesn't want to date, "husband material".

I'd say I look better now at 29 than I did at 21. But it's got nothing to do with my actual age. I started working out regularly, I ate better, I dress better, got a skincare routine going on, had some cosmetic laser surgery done, whitened my teeth, etc. That has nothing to do with age though, I could've done all of that at 21 as well. So, while I agree that some men do look better as they got older, I wouldn't put it down to age. It is all relative though at the end of the day, I just don't fin…

I mean what man actually looks better older. You said Clooney but tbh he's also just aged very well, he was already handsome in his 20s. Cutting his hair might make him look better (I still think the long hair makes him more youthful) but the wrinkles and the greying don't really help unless you want to date a grandpa. Some men like Ronaldo look better but after lots of surgery.

I know a few women who do but it's because they had a glow up. Better clothes, better makeup, better fitness and being less shy. I hang around a lot of Asians since I'm Asian myself and the women truly age like wine due to all the skincare products they use. My aunt that's 55 could easily pass for 40 now but she didn't look as great in the past because of working a manual job all the time. Now shes semi retired and able to spend more time on herself.

His face in his 20s looks great, no wrinkles on the forehead. His hair even looks great then as well, way more youthful. He has great proportions in his face. I don't really think there's much of a discussion on this because it's all subjective, but I like how he looked in that first picture with the long hair. I could say the same about men though, most men don't really become physically more attractive in their 40s unless they want to jump on gear and get shredded maybe. I don't see the appeal…

George Clooney can be more attractive at 40 than at 20 He wasn't ugly at 20, far from it. If anything, it's his status that makes him more attractive at an older age, rather than his looks. Take another man who looks like him at 40 and you're not going to get young women in their 20s lining up because it's weird dating someone who looks like your dad. It's just like Leonardo DiCaprio right now. He looked better at 20 but he's still attractive and maintained it.

I think the advice is sound from my own experience. When I first started trying to date women, I went into every interaction expecting sex at the end. That just sets unrealistic expectations because chances are there's no sex at the end. Most guys strike out with most of their attempts, they score on the minority. I probably get a date for every 20 women I ask out and then sex from maybe 1 out of every 10 first dates. So, if I was going into interaction expecting sex, I would probably grow resen…

At least in your 20s, your metabolism can help somewhat. That's not the case in your 30s though and I agree that a lot of people look skinny fat or fat.

I'm not looking at just sex though, I had a bunch of hookups over the summer but it's different without that emotional connection. There's no pillow talk or talks about the future or the long walks at night; it's missing that extra something. I don't even do sleepovers with hookups. Maybe it's because I can afford to buy most things, so I don't really see material things as that eventful compared to experiences that you can't buy with money. You can't buy true desire from someone.

It's more than just sex, it's the emotional desire between two people. Sex you can get from a hookup or just pay the hooker for it. I'd agree that that emotional desire is probably one of the best feelings in the world, better than any pump I've felt in the gym, better than visiting any tourist attraction, better than any meal, better than any raise/promotion that I got, better than winning any award. I don't have children yet and people have said that's one of life's greatest joys but until the…

And some men become wealthy. Exceptions don't make the rule. The average guy doesn't even work out regularly as they age hence why you see so many men with a beer gut in their mid 30s and onward.

I agree that we should just be upfront with our intentions and whatnot, I don't try to be friends with women I'm interested in. I ask them on a date, if they reject me, I move on. I don't try and switch gears to be friends in an attempt to maybe get sex later on. The thing is that doesn't work for a lot of men judging based off the responses here. I don't think overweight (yes, a lot of men are also overweight) Billy is going to have much success if he's still working at Burger King in his mid 2…

You say, "friends first route" and now you say, "a desire to enter a romantic relationship", which is it? It's obvious that you're trying to be deceiving if you think that's the same thing. It's like a homeless person trying to be your friend on the street but in the back of your mind, you know he just wants money or food.

If you think good looks is all it takes, then you haven't been out much. Sure, there's a baseline level of looks but there's also a baseline level of social skills too. You can't be ugly as sin for obvious reasons. I know of several gym bros who can't get laid because they can't talk to a woman without stuttering or becoming flushed. When I got ripped before the pandemic, the women didn't just flock to me. It's a myth that being attractive is all you need, any person who goes to the gym with a c…

Jason Mamoa, Chris Evans, etc. all evoke a huge sense of confidence. It's not just their looks but the way they carry themselves too. They're not walking around simping for every woman like a desperate person with no options.
