If you approach feminism with an "Us vs. Them" mentality, then the logic of this quote can seem a bit far-fetched; however, if you approach the idea with the mindset of wanting gender equality, then yes, "Patriarchy" is responsible for the oppression of men as well as women. This thread reeks of trolls, and the attitudes that are dragging down the MRM. It's not that difficult to accept that men can stop rape. Women should be stopping rape too. Consent isn't a very difficult concept to understand, and by lashing back at it, all that is accomplished is taking time away from fixing the real inequalities faced by people in this world.
