Grab yourself by the collar and the belt, and Boston toss yourself at the nearest group of women.

Interesting point in that article: number of people having sex with one partner has decreased, but number of people having sex with multiple partners has stayed roughly the same. So, the total number of dudes getting laid is going down, but the dudes that are getting laid are getting laid more.

I'm gonna completely disagree with the other two responses, due to the location. You're at work. You're not at the park. You're not at the grocery store. You're not at the bar. You're at work. All of this #metoo stuff going on, all of this sexual harassment, what that really comes down to is boundaries and professionalism. When you're at work, you get one shot. Nobody can fault you for asking someone out...once. If you start asking the same person out multiple times, then you're potentially movi…

The fact that you managed to hook up with one girl puts you in the top 20% of tinder users. 13% of tinder users have had one hook up, 3% of tinder users have had two hookups, and 4% of tinder users have had more than 2 hookups. Additionally, there is no correlation between using tinder and getting laid, i.e. the kind of people that can get laid on tinder usually don't have trouble getting laid off tinder, and using tinder doesn't significantly increase the amount of times they get laid. So, what…

Then...do the same? Don't play texting games, please god don't play stupid (that one scene in Mean Girls was...so bad.), and try to keep some intrigue? Personally, I think nudes are a stupid idea (or "risque" non-nudes) because I'm firmly of the opinion that you should never take/send pictures you aren't willing to share with the world, but that could work, especially if you've got a date scheduled later.

Addendum: (separate comment because important) You're at work. Thing about hitting on girls at work, is that it's kinda tricky. Especially with #metoo and the wide awareness of sexual harassment. Now there's nothing wrong with hitting on coworkers and trying to ask them out, but you get one shot. Sounds like you took your shot. Nobody can fault you for that. If you start taking second and third shots, that starts bordering on harassment.

I've had no problems getting numbers from cashiers/women I meet during errands wearing a mask. They say the eyes are the window to the soul.

If I had to guess, the guys you're talking to think they have no shot and move on. You mention it takes a month to feel comfortable, I'm assuming that means you're not hooking up with them before that. You'll find advice (aimed at dudes) here that if they don't get laid on the first or second date, they should just move on. I don't have any good answers. Have you tried taking initiative and planning dates? Make it obvious that there is still some interest, without jumping into bed.

Earlier today I had to run into Michaels for work. Had a short conversation with the cashier. "I like the highlights in your hair" "Thanks". Had to run in again later that afternoon because I got the wrong marker, as she was leaving. Made eye contact a few times, and she waited in the parking lot with her car door open playing with her phone for a few minutes. Walked up, talked a bit, gave her my number, now I'm planning a date for tomorrow night, because she's moving four hours away to college …

Have to tried doing A, B, and C in reverse? Hang out near the guy, until he notices (because we don't speak hint), mention availability, and do it consistently? Or, you could always just ask a guy out. That'll probably work.

This seems a bit of a difference in objective, to me, at least. Being not an asshole, being genuine, and taking care of yourself (or even a few of those) is good for finding the right girl to be in a committed relationship with. Which is perfectly okay. The purpose of this community, as I see it, is training for the olympics of sex. Notches on the bedpost, so to say. Which is also perfectly okay, as long as it is not done in shitty covert ways. Personally, I've spent the last half decade single,…

Relationships tend to be improbable. Maybe not in the "stop the plane!" sense, but in college I had a somewhat solid relationship develop from a drunk me walking up to girls and straight up asking them "wanna fuck?" at a party. When we sobered up, turns out she was cool and we were into the same stuff. Lasted almost a year.

Mostly agree, but in this specific case (vacation) it might be worth going balls to the wall. Of course, at 17 there may well be parents/supervisors involved, but if you're in town for a night or two and you don't know anybody (and don't really plan on coming back for a while), then there isn't really much of a social drawback to making a fool of yourself, short of getting arrested or posting stupid pictures on social media. In my experience, making an absolute fool of yourself can be a great le…

Last time I got the hot cashier's number, I walked out of the store holding my bags in front of me, because I could have held them with no hands. Probably shouldn't have worn basketball shorts, in retrospect.

From my (limited) experience, what you describe as "being nice" is often "basic survival" for many women. Going on a date and rejecting someone can potentially be life threatening with the wrong guy. And sure, 99.9% of guys aren't "the wrong guy", but the ones that are...well. would you take that risk?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
