Why am I unkind? because some truths are hard to hear? Because some think women are not less than men?

That must be it. I think his first love (he was about 18 when he met her ) must have hurt him more then I realized. I know she saw him as a money press machine, but I never thought she was so callous then to withhold affection until paid. He told me a few moments ago and I am still angry.

My Husband told me that since women are unable to love men like they need we are required to to at least the very best by doubling our efforts and doing it in their love language so they notice it at all. I always fought that notion that we women are unable to provide the love men need but he is right.

I think Alpha Widow is not a state of being but of attitude and opinion. One can DECIDE to not become an Alpha Widow.

Not exactly decision making per say. But I have advised my Husband to not anger our landlord needlessly. Both are quite temperamental and easily provoked. I have no doubt that our landlord wants us out of our flat, so I think giving him no unnecessary ammunition is wise.

One of the Daisy Duck Comics was made into place sheets for meals by my Mother. She found them hilarious. Daisy is some very sketchy character indeed and we joked lots about her. The nickname simply honors my mothers joking nature. I do not talk about household things. All of your examples are no brainers. Although I know why some women would ponder interfering with driving routes...;) I talk about situations in wich the man does something that could be detrimental to his own or the families wel…

So let us summarize: Men are unable to accept advise by women. Even the most well meaning one. Well, This is a major thing then in wich women excel.

If the wellbeing of the household is threatened by his decisions it is necessary to do so.

This is why I specifically vetted for the ability to take advise. Men are not all knowing . And we women have strengths wich men have not. Sometimes listening to advise is beneficial. Expecially when it involves said strengths.

I think that we as women are able to offer insights into/thoughts about problems wich our men might indeed need. Be it another point of view, be it an idea we have they could benefit from. Boosting his ego when we know his approach is not ideal is not good. Silence is the best way then. Especially with men whose ego is strong. An ego wich grows too strong is always detrimental.

Did you ever ask him why he is not even considering your advice? For me such behavior was a red flag while vetting. A good Leader always at least considers the advice of his people.

She got an IUD a month ago and weird things are happening with her period. Hopefully it's just a transition and it doesn't end up messing with her libido or cycle, which I've had pretty figured out to this point. Be prepared for some major cycle readjusting. If she took hormones before or starts now, it could be all over the table. I am speaking from experience. Bleeding 18 of 30 days. Make sure she has enough iron intake.

his housemates would complain about the noise While I can understand his/your frustration about that one, gave you ever had noisy neighbors?;) My Husband is currently up in the tree because our neighbors one floor up are constantly moving furniture around - at 3 - 5am! This has been going on for 4 weeks now. Hubby seriously thinks about moving now. Ok, on to the topic: Hubby complained about the lack of decent iPad sleeves. I did not really understand what was wrong with some of them but I took …

To me a man is not really a man if he is afraid to show /to convey his emotions.

This reminds me, I took up gardening in earnest when my Husbands Sister was diagnosed with cancer and his world was shaken. It gave me something productive to do and kept me from bothering him.

Just a thought: Keto is known for causing bad breath. Maybe she is afraid of that? It would certainly put me off. Assuming the worst is not always necessary. Maybe Paleo/Primal might be better suited to her.

Men decide this for women all the time. Look at MRP and be surprised. I fact is the MRP not exactly this: A Place where Men with Problems try to change their partners?
