IDC either way but teen girls liked it. I think the important distinction is Edward was still committed to Bella totally even when he let her go. So it wasn’t like a hey girl let’s be modern and open the relationship, bye I have a date tonight.

I am talking about the books which were insanely popular. I think it was the second to last book was allll about this. Yes she made a choice but there was a point where Edward was willing to let her be with Jacob too, if that was what she wanted; and girls still think of him as the hottest perfect guy and whatever.

No she’s actually right though. Edward stated that he would share Bella with Jacob because he loved her so much and respected her choice so much that he would be willing to do that. She chose him eventually but he definitely did not make her choose.

Everyone pay attention: this is how you save time. Talking about marriage isn’t awkward or clingy unless you’re both 14.

That guy isn’t pumping and dumping anyone. He’s holding out for someone out of his league, while having the audacity to ask OP to wait in the wings.

Same guys who excoriate women who end up with dead beat dad loser men; they mock them for not choosing better. But financial stability is a huge factor for women who want children, they also get excoriated for selecting for that.

Just run away from guys who call themselves doms. They aren’t dom anything, which in theory was supposed to be lovingly in control or something. It’s just weak douchebags without an ounce of leadership or anything else who want to kick around and abuse women, suck in bed, and then pretend calling themselves a stupid name makes it all good and that it makes them great lovers. Most of them ironically are very weak and spineless people.

I now believe this is 100% of “dom” men. Self-described. There are HVM who lead but would never be caught dead calling themselves doms.

They don’t want starfish, but they also don’t want fake porn acting, but you also better be damn clear you love it, but only just the right amount, otherwise it’s porn or starfish. But for the love of god never pretend to be more into it than you are, but also never ever turn down sex or don’t be in the mood.

So many moons ago I sort of thought I was into “doms” because I liked men who lead. A guy I knew told me something; he said to avoid any guy who calls himself a dom because it’s just an abuser trying to have a veneer of legitimacy. I thought at the time that his explanation was over-simplistic, but now I know he was 100% right. A man who is strong and loving does not ever call himself a dom. A man who calls himself a dom is just some asshole with an internet connection who thinks he can use the …

Ok sure. Well I do not use soap or anything except water to clean. I only wear cotton underwear and I use gentle detergent with no scent. I drink a lot of water. I do not drink alcohol. Not sure what else to add.

I’m a married woman in my 30s. I’m lucky to still look pretty good. As I got older my options for numerous feckless men who want to throw cheap compliments went down. My options for marriage minded successful men went up. I was much more wondering where good men (good men meaning suitable for me and wanting marriage) were when I was 20 than when I was older. Being 20 attracts all the feckless weirdos.

The only real intimidation is a woman who is beautiful or hot but also comes off as cold or touchy or like she might reject him. But those women are not usually the self-proclaimed “intimidating” ones.

But the odds of not having an eventual dead bedroom from someone who says early on she doesn’t find you attractive, are low.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 04:52 PM

I would never ever see the person again if he said that he didn’t find me attractive. I don’t believe someone has to say “you’re objectively the hottest woman alive” but in a relationship both people should have chemistry where the feeling is “you’re really hot to ME regardless of what some stranger would objectively rate you.”

It’s funny the number of complaints about “starfish sex” something I’d never heard of in my life before the internet and these places. Interesting that it’s so prevalent with so many women they choose, they all just happen to starfish...maybe they should consider the common denominator....

Women do care about this, but men mock and belittle and shame them for being clingy / needy whenever women speak about it. Most women just shut up about it around men to avoid the merciless abuse they get for caring and just focus on finding one guy that seems loyal. Women whO do not want a man that bad don’t get shamed into silence, they become rad fems and avoid men. The greatest trick immature men have played from the sexual revolution is shaming women for honoring their female imperative by …

Most people at some point introspect and don’t just operate constantly as a reaction to their childhood. A bigger red flag is someone who never self examines. Never mind parents.

People use that to talk about nice guys who think x number of niceness tokens requires female output of sex. They don’t mean a man has to stay in a dead bedroom forever.

Men think bad driving is being cautious and braking with plenty of time and using your signal as early as possible and being careful and waiting before you turn left. They think good driving is risk taking and braking as late as possible so you almost hit the car and taking riskier turns and going faster and not slowing down on side streets.

You think you’re being rational but “sexual identity” is a very recent concept in human history. People used to identify as men or women; sexual actions were things you did or didn’t do, not who you are. So what’s actually ridiculous is trying to define a human based on their sexual actions and thinking that’s normal.

What makes you think the women fans of his are feminists who care about the lyrics and who spend their free time fighting the patriarchy? Is this the “feminism is a woman existing” trope? Most people listen to rap for the rhythm and energy and sounds and the delivery, not the words meanings. Rap is braggadocio and high energy so that everyone male or female who listens to it can feel important and cool for a minute and get into the beat. It’s not about personally identifying with the lyrics lite…

If they have no experience theyre just spinning theories that at best make sense on paper only. If they struggle with dating, they will come up with rationalizations and explanations that are not really accurate and as such their advice is bad.
