every single one has had to deal with their ex making false accusations of abuse against him. I'm skeptical too, more for political reasons than feasibility reasons, and I'd agree that single payer is a huge stretch for the next administration to accomplish. I just want a system that works; having a system that pits your health against your wallet has just awful consequences for our nation.

I would say thats a fair assessment for the short term outcomes for the switch to a single payer system, but in the long run we would be able to correct for the shortage pretty easily. Esp. since the limited resource in question is mostly just human capital.

Since he doesn't quite go over the pay discrepancy between older & younger women, I'll touch on it a little here. The basic premise is that older women tend to have conformed to traditional rolls and forgoed economic investment in themselves, like education and entering the labor force. Whereas younger women grew up with more social freedom to pursue a career, thus the discrepancy.

Yup the strongest point in extending LPS to males, is pointing out the discriminatory nature of state funding for female only safe haven(LPS) laws. It's nice for eliminating the "It's too expensive/We don't have funding" arguments too; either you extend the option to men too or we can't afford it at all. Hint: we can, the cost is insignificant.

This is Facebook too tho, I've had much better success in conversing with people that care to listen IRL. Feminists have a much harder time behaving as you describe in public where others can judge them. To me taking the 'level headed' approach esp. in public discussion is the way to go. They end up being unable to respond and/or are much more sympathetic to taking your idea's seriously.
