Some commenters are saying "not in my case" & etc. IMO, it comes down to a quick and easy method to reject MOST bad candidates. Key word being "MOST". Will a few "good ones" be sidelined in the process because "you didn't get to know them"? Sure they will! But this is not about "being fair" now is it?
