As a scientist (M.Sc) and philosopher (MA) what got me considering Red Pill (though I was never "in"): mating psychology and assortive mative claims with reference to David Buss, Pisanski etc, explanatory power for why modern dating is completely cooked, explanation for modern divorce stats, and hypergamous phenomenon, why men are attaining relationship and mating success via Passport Bros and Geo-maxxing strategies. what got me rejecting Red Pill: attachment theory, attachment neuroscience, and…

First wave feminism, sure. The third wave feminism that bangs the drum about patriarchy, male privileges, guilt etc? Not so much.

Look up attachment theory: Adam Lane Smith has plenty of content around this on youtube. Get yourself secured first, know your principals and values and build your life around it. Then date someone who is attracted to your principals.

You are part of the general population. You are from the general population. You are dating someone from the general population. You are going to have to make friends and colleagues from people from the general population. Like it or not, there is a "common core" to the general population that you'll have to figure out to get along with everybody. You can't have your cake and eat it too. You either critically analyse everything and continue to reassess *as part of a healthy growth mindset*, or y…

Eh... except I do have friends, have multiple hobbies, earn a 6 digit salary, read widely, and have gone on at least 3 dates so far this year, after coming out of a 6 month+ relationship where I called off a dishonest relationship. Stop critically analysing, stop introspecting, and stop finding good models for operating moving forward are the first steps towards falling into inceldom or red-pilling.

... but that's precisely it, you already half-agreed with my point despite the hee-haw about thinking too deep/irrelevant: because there are varying degree of across 5 Maslow dimensions of human needs, your attraction value is the sum total of what you bring to the table to the other person. And you keep saying that there is "no universal definition of maximum attraction": yet Gini coefficient of dating exist between male and female. If there is no agreed upon definition, there should also be pe…

Only if you reject all forms of essentialism and psychology. If/Since Maslow's hierachy is a correct expression of human needs, by definition maximum attraction is someone who can hit *all* needs.

Disagreeed. There is only one objective definition of the average (mean) and the median.Unless you disagree with fundamental maths/statistics, your value relative to the mean/median does determine how rare you are relative to the normal population, which gives you a perceived status. Which is why PUA does have a point in saying that "game" is ultimately communication of status. Where PUA went awry is that the communication was only there to get sex and body count and the status symbols (physical…

No, please don't. Sex is the easy part of any relationship. The hard part of the relationship? Building trust. Building enough self-respect, social respect, and respect by a female counterpart who want long-term commitment and vet for it. Self-awareness, constant self-improvement + self-care + self-heal. Being able to face down your shadow-self and rise from the ashes. Redpill is appealing because it only acknowledges half of these challenges.

Look up limerance and detaching strategy, especially in the context of attachment. Perhaps the right thing to do is to have "the talk" where you set your boundaries, lay your cards, and walk away once you have prepared how you plan to detach. Limerance in particular is a pretty important oppurtunity for shadow-integration because it shows you (a) what is causing you the anxiety and (b) why do you miss it so much! Mentally, we all know we should adopt an abundance mindset, but how much of it is t…

Introduce him toAdam Lane Smith! You should do the same too. Both of you should heal, but if he is not willing to heal, you have to move on. I consistently found attachment theory to be the only viable antidote to Redpill ideology in that - Many of the underlying theme of RedPill is fixing "Nice guy syndrome" - which is really just anxious-preoccupied attachment coupled with feminist ideology about patriachy, guy privileges etc. This stuff isn't new; old as most religions in the world have consi…

I am unsure, but I can see why people see him a a RP. I used to like him, but now I am... unsure. - He is definitely pro-man/pro-masculinity. This alone would have some label him as RP. But telling guys to man up, nut up, and stand for something alone isn't RP... - He has some bad dating experience and can speak into it. Cautioning man to be careful about the woman you bring into your life isn't RP... - He applies surface-level evo-pscyh to dating and male/female relationship. - He has lately st…

Read up on Attachment Theory and understand where you are placed. For guys, Adam Lane Smith's content is gold; for women, Thais Gibson/Personal Development School. Make sure you are Secured first before you date. If Attachment Theory is correct: the reason why Red-Pillers are right is because RedPillers at their core are Avoidants who then attract either fellow Avoidants or go into the Anxious-Avoidant trap with a Anxious-Preoccupied. Meanwhile, because Insecure people are attached for neurologi…

Shouldn't you, from a professional perspective, be talking to male-oriented, "post-red-pill"PsyD clinicians like Shawn T Smith and Orion Taraban who successfully synthesize the good parts of RP (e.g. the need for men to hold frame and not be needy, need to vet your other half thoroughly) while reject some of the other theses of RP (e.g. women will abandon a men the moment he becomes useless, women who make you wait for sex are useless, do not marry women who earn more than you and therefore hold…
