I went thru something similar in NC she locked me up 5 times my friend has the same issue but he was locked up 7 times. And the girl just doesn't show up to court. My ex would wait til I was arrested then come take my kid and disappear and their was nothing I could do. Luckily the judge was an attorney who heard my story and knew me. He signed a order for custody after she didn't show up on day after the fifth time. Worst part it still shows on my records

When me and my ex wife had a blow out where she was charged with child abuse and domestic violence against me then a slew of charges against the officers that arrested her. I was in the court house she started calling from the jail screaming at me telling me I needed to come bond her out. Imo you need a protective order in place until she calms down I got one for like three years. Usually with time shit comes back to people sometimes not tho. I am very happy She got it in the end. I got two dead beat kids moms live within 15 minutes of my mids haven't been around for at least 9 years and both have jobs and make OK money and never sent a red cent. Ya know when I was freshly divorced all I wanted to see is her crash and burn but with the long view of this situation I really wish she didn't. Your kids are much better off with a fully functional mother and father even if it is in two separate house holds. But if she is anything like me ex she won't listen to a dam thing u gotta say because u are always wrong. If u can save her from this without helping her financially do it. I have never been to child support court my self, but I watch a ton of hearings on yt and anytime the over nights are the same per parent their is no child support. Which is the way it should be.

U know in some instances if u can't afford a lawyer u truly need a lawyer, it would be like 2k and may get 90% of your child support cut out. If u can get 50-50 u owe her no child support

IN some states when the child's mother is living off of your child support and u can prove it they will reduce child support. So let her in open court say all she is living off of is child support it may be in your favor in the end. This isn't marital support this is for the child. And if u have a 60-40 split their is no reason to have child support if u r in the 60% of it is not n in your favor ask for 50-50 including the same over night stays and it should null your child support

I see a ton of custody hearings where women after being with someone for a few years wants to take custody and makes accusations that tbis child isn't the father's and almost every single time the judge will tell them he has been the father and will keep on being the father if they want to nmw the DNA test says. If u have been raising a kid for more then a couple years that is your kid no doubt about it.

Even if she gets 50-50 she will lose interest within a few months and u will end up with your daughter most the time, if not and she actually takes interest this is a benefit to yihr child I would love for my kids mothers to love them. So it is a win win situation.

It doesn't sound like she wants to be a single mom, I think she likes the idea of 50-50 but I don't think she would keep it up long. Maybe she is worried about paying child support if you get full custody. Maybe make it clear you won't seek child support if u got full physical and have her have 50-50 legal. I will say the only thing I have ever been treated differently is that when my first daughter got any type of state assistantance they went after me for child support every single time.
