I hit on men out when I was single. Not with strangers, of course, because I’m not attracted to people I don’t even know, but with men I wanted to date. Sometimes i seriously think about giving up on trying to understand women, because whenever i ask a general question, they always try to make it only about themselves and, even more, act like they were the exception to the rule. Sorry to disappoint, but this post isn't about you. Good to know that you hit on men, but most women don't even bother…

Consent must be given verbally or in writing, it’s not something that should be left implied. "H-hey, before i make my move and try to kiss you here at the movie theater, do you mind looking at the camera and saying that you consent? Just in case, you know? Hehehe" ☝🏻🤓

Women already indirectly hit on men they are interested on. For example, they take their time to be around them, give them gifts, invite them to parties, etc. True, but they do it in an extremely subtle way. You can never tell if they're just looking for friendship or actually hitting on you. What i'm talking about in this post is women making their intentions loud and clear since the beggining. I remember in elementary school when a girl i had never spoken to out of the blue bought me a pencil …

Where do you live that men and women don't interact constantly daily? My bad, you're right. English is not my mother language. I'll put "sexual interaction" to remove any doubt.

You didn't say why it would be any safer My 1st consideration: assuming that for many women (i said many, not all of them, ok? Did you get it? I said many, not all of them) the definition of haressement may change according to how attractive the guy is. They could go directly to the guys they were attracted to, and it could reduce drastically the cases of haressment.

That's exactly what i said, it's literally on the text. Why did you repeat my words?

I asked this question because women are allowed to have a backup plan but it seems like men are not. Personally, i think that trust is a two-way street, so you can't demand what you are not willing to give. Good to know you trust your husband and he trusts you. I wish the best for you both.

Yes, they are. They are both backup plans in case the other partner decides to be evil and act in bad faith.

You didn't answer my question. Are you okay with he having a backup plan like you or not?

Ok, so your husband should COMPLETELY trust you despite all the odds against him. But do you COMPLETELY trust him? Are you okay with relying economically on him?

I think what OP is trying to say is that you need some hobbies that you can show to women. No women will find you interesting because you like reading about philosophy in your free time, but if you like surfing, playing the guitar or cooking, that's enough to make a good impression on them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
