Im a 4'11 man and get approached often. Happened a lot in school. Still happens nowadays but not before I started going to the bar and singing.

yeah i get you. i would prefer having the choice be left open for me. and my own choice would be no. in regards to your situation, like i said he has that agency, but if it were me, I would never even consider it if i was already an adult. mine has no meaning, so its hard to look at others and see their meaning. but even with meaning, i still think its misguided and unnecessary. If I were a jew and still had skin, I would convert to anything else. This is something that shouldn't be done on an i…

as a salvadoran american, i don't see religious conviction to give it any more meaning. but to me it gives it some personal agency that i was not afforded. either way its a choice that i wouldn't make for myself and see one inflicting it on themselves for reasons of religious conviction, or whatever personal conviction as someone wanting to willingly harm themselves. does it make a difference if someone did it just cuz they wanted to as an adult without religious conviction? I don't think his de…

There more than just shaming small dicks. A lot of shaming hurts both but for some reason it's much easier to show the shaming of men for many reasons

i think the left and right are beyond men's and women's issues and only attempt ti make appeals to collect as many votes at each of their expense. I'd rather just fight to stop either from losing rights and protect men and women.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates17/11/24 01:47 AM

if its men holding over men, that just sounds like a patriarchy with hierarchy. The men held under rich men will still have hold over women within their social class. aside from that we can still work on treating people better in general.

i mean as a guy, I have heard other men blurt out things like this. we could be playing a game and someone is just like " I WaNT SoME fAT tIITieS ON My GIRlz" I can't go 5 mins online without someone talking about their preferences. You'd think it was from boys but holy shit. there are plenty of grown ass men just saying shit without discussion. it is rarer in real life but ive had moments with other guys. its weird.

there's a difference between some women being like i want big dick, vs all women shaming men. same thing with your example, there's a difference between some men saying women should have tight pussies vs all men shaming women for not having tight pussies. in all examples its bad. but its even worse to treat the all like they are all acting like the some. we also live in very prudish society that looks down at obscenity whether it be among women or men... so like where are you hearing women annou…

But the issue was talking about men not being able to set up their own safe spaces. Why would I talk about women fucking their own shit up when this is about men? You don't make any sense when, only men can be in male spaces, unless they are open and inclusive. But we aren't talking about the open and inclusive ones. The closed ones (perfectly fine being closed) are able to be abused by some men. With behavior that is toxic for people to do. You can be toxic in a male space with other men. But t…

Well then that's just a mistake of my wording, how I understood how I was using my language was that I am saying we generally. But in assuming that I am not a bad guy or an ass, nor in assuming that you or a majority of men are, I can see how saying we like I did is problematic. I say it generally tho through affiliation. I get why such a nice seeming guy like you wouldn't wanna affiliate himself with toxicity. I think it's rather interesting to point out we in a negative tho, would you say the …

Your rhetoric was ascribing toxicity to make interactions with males. not what i said. i am saying *some* men's toxic behavior ruins having safe spaces. nor am i giving any insinuation that just any male interaction is toxic. either you are making huge leaps and extrapolations or you are really fixed on the words "male" and "toxic" being used in the same sentence. You're putting the fault on men, because they're men, and you don't like "locker room talk". Listen there's nothing wrong with men ha…

men already had safe spaces and we abused the fuck out of them from what i can tell. when we have spaces and we have men be cool and supportive of each other, its great, but then you get the "locker room talk" and shitty attitudes men often have among ourselves such as "oh you can't do this thing, well i can" and other self cannibalizing, toxic, and unnecessarily competitive or comparative behavior against ourselves even under united spaces. its all about having more money, prettier women, and y…

I think doing it to children increases the harm becae if extra variable. Like why am I gonna put a baby through an elective surgical procedure when he is still an infant. Their penis isn't even fully developed and someone wants to inflict physical trauma that will traumatize the surrounding tissues. And their mental vulnerability at that age while also not being able to take the same anesthesia as adults nor being able to communicate a need for more pain management. I don't think the harm is min…

I only see it as a negative modification. And any "positive" from it still comes from negative and that's unjustifiable as something to do to a human, let alone children and infants.

Can't really "regret" something when it wasn't your choice to begin with. I have deep feelings myself and I was done as a baby. Being forced into something is quite vile and abhorrent. So much wrong.

I actually just feel more slut shaming coming from both sides. Sorta feels like a "it can go both ways" kinda deal but for the bad. Now instead of men mainly slut shaming women, women are slut shaming men. Now everyone can sit shame everyone else.

Men give both men and women right, but men being the one who gives right predominantly, we tend to only recognize rights for men then share them with others.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/24 11:41 AM

I'm a circumcised male and I care. I strongly dislike infant circumcision. Being circumcised, having had it done near birth, has given me no benefit in life in my eyes. Only negative. Some negative I can ignore. Cuz life. But I would never have wanted this for myself. I currently do not want to be.

It's just as mysandric for a woman to tell a man that mysandry doesn't exist as much as it is misogynistic for a man to tell a woman that misogyny doesn't exist. But then you have to put it into context. We are more so a patriarchy (at least how I've seen it but america is very open and there are pockets that have less or more). We do have more of a patriarchy problem but within a 0atriarchy you also have matriarchs so.

I think that it's something that men can be, and they're usually taught or conditioned to be by society or from shitty dad's or just whoever else's influence. Sadly we also have all of human history and while women haven't been the best, have men? It's only till very recently that men and their expected tendencies have either been questioned or had any change. It also doesn't help with some men perpetuating whatever that were conditioned to be sexually.

Again it just seems like men are desperate, and it allows women to have an easier time in picking out from those that are desperate. Men shouldn't give in to the desperation. (Which I am highly aware is easier said than done) It just saddens me that men are taught that the most fulfilling thing to them is finding pussy rather than appreciating the person they are with. And that's not to say that women's standards are unfair but so are some men's. But you also can't have no standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/23 10:04 PM
1

Well I know plenty of men including myself that also agree, you can just go out to fuck whoever, is the average man vs the average woman that disproportionate? It more so seems like men are falling behind on average. Everytime I see people discuss this, it goes from having dates to having sex and it jumps back and forth. Are we arguing about finding dates and connecting with someone or are we talking about just hooking up, casual sex? It seems pretty disingenuous.

Lol, if we're looking at potential, i guess. If it's more about in the moment i just don't see it doing much on my side, especially since Ed Sheeran is a pop musician. the British Psychological Society has established a Male Psychology Section, and has published male positive guidelines for psychologists and therapists. Just cuz women are participate in a part does not make this a matriarchy. Especially since men in this country want other men to be cut, not just women. If it was matriarchal i wouldn't be able to do what I can in this country. There are people who perpetuate this on both sides, i was done by a male doctor, others more likely by female, but that doesn't make this entire thing matriarchal. I think I experienced a healthy version, older girls would always ALWAYS express how cute of a boy I was, but it was always just that I was such a cutie. It's cuz psychologically they seem like something has been improved, bit physically their bodies aren't having it lol. Why would cutting off a part of the skin system that also uses the blood supply in conjunction (as a part not seperate from it) improve. It's like cutting a road and then putting more blockades between where you cut it off so that not only was the path damaged, but almost blocked off. Luckily there are other paths and it doesn't just completely ruin our blood flows.

Parts of the pain are only like a 1 or 2 on good days when nothing is happening, but if there's any sort of bad texture in contact with my inner skin it just hurts and having a chronic 4 on top of other pains is just unnecessary, and the difference in how much skin I have on each side is very heavy, like one side has a shit ton of slack that I can pull up to my glans do that side has some mobility, the other side is like drum tight when erect. Being a man and qualities of men are not the same thing. You can be a man and literally be feminine. Be a man and be only somewhat masculine. Being a man physically is not being masculine. Well I personally thought that it was just toxic traits that individuals would tie to their own sense of masculinity. Never once thought it meant anything about masculinity as a whole being bad.

It literally doesn't make sense to me, especially the part where it's somehow being used to say that things are just in men's heads. The female hysteria comparison just doesn't add up to me.

Yeah i have never read toxic masculinity as being something akin to female hysteria, I've never seen anything about it that refers to to these issues as just problems in men's heads. Yeah suppressing emotions and being able to be control them are not the same. There's a difference between someone who has learned how to control and manage their emotions in a healthy beneficial way vs shutting your emotions and hurting yourself in the process. I don't know things like forcing other boys to endure pain, pushing things to be more masculine when they don't have to be, unecessary aggression, societal pressure to repress emotion and downplay trauma (not exclusive to masculinity but for some it is), excessive pride in being male (not saying to not have any, this is all relative to the individual cuz you can have pride in being a male but having pride where one is putting it above things then it starts becoming what we'd like to call toxic b…

I don't see how pointing out toxicity within behaviour is bad or negative, especially because within my circles toxic masculinity has been brought up and lead to talking about toxic femininity as well. I think that the sensitivity of our penis plays a large role as to why men gravitate toward sex so easily biologically, and the sensation from it is such a good feeling that it can literally affect how we think about ourselves. Along with social conditioning from those around us and ideas about what love and sex and how we handle those feelings all play a role psychologically. This I think is a tad bit misguided, not every circumcision is religious. And they do push it. Not all or everytime. But many do. I know people who were cut comply because their mom's didn't care or wanted it. And I was cut because my dad thought it as a tradition regardless of religion. Men who become professional artists are not seen as 'doing feminine things', they're seen as doing frivolous things, non-essential. Are gender roles based on a male perspective of how either should be, a female perspective of how either should be, or more of a perspective that can be shared by both but influence each other? It's different when you look at more than one thing. Look at what's happening currently... There are patriarchal religions, namely Islam and whatever other main abrahamic religions and their own sub branches. In most of them, everyone is taught that women are the cause of sin... Now aside from that, even through law, women were oppressed till recently. But the attitudes toward women still trickle down. Did I say women didn't? People perpetuate things based around what they learned themselves from the past. I don't think any person should treat another person badly be it man or woman to another man or woman or whomever. men are treated as disposable and I guess we are but like a human life is a human life in my eyes, we should still strive to treat men as a human life that has value to live.

Like I said just cuz it links some aspects doesn't mean it describes all of masculinity as being toxic. I don't care about what feminism says but I've also never read that from anything I've read about or heard about feminism, I've talked with girls my age about it before and have had no problem discussing it with them. I'm not saying it never happens and ai personally do acknowledge it, all I'm I'm saying is that the phrase gets used with mixed definitions by people and that some are too generalized. Well I would rather say toxic aspects of masculinity... it's literally meant to talk about toxic aspects. I'm not the one saying it is like that that's just what I've come to understand, there are some people and feminists that do mean to capture all of masculinity in it, which is stupid. See my problem with this is that while men have been treated badly too (by women), it seems to me that men were treated badly... by other men too. Unless I spit on my dick or can get enough of hers on mine before going in (and it being outside doesn't help with it drying quickly), otherwise it's a slow process. You know, just because you are 4'11", it does not mean you are not gonna find someone. I'm 4'11" and I never focused on finding a girlfriend, went to school for music performance and education. But I found one anyway, and she's doing art and coding. You can put yourself out there, but unless you are looking for hook ups, you're height shouldn't matter, especially to the person you find that truly loves you. It all depends on you and what you want, but focus on you and other people will notice. D…

When did I say I never wanted to, I just want it to be my choice, whether I do go in or not. Plenty of my friends have joined, and it shows through their dedication that they had the will to go through it. I would love to but I physically don't see me lasting even boot camp, not because I don't want to, but because, physically, I don't think I am capable.

Being forced into the military i don't think will solve anything. I don't think she's arguing this for others overall. This is just how she experienced it. I can see some lesbians hearing how feminism looks at male desire toward women and applying it toward themselves because they like women too.

I think its more so about her desire towards females rather than her own sexuality as a female.

Well I still think that its ok for either, cuz to me it seems like part of the issue is that the man would take advantage of the girl yeah? I mean I still think that if the guy doesn't seem threatening or dangerous, why not. Its not like every guy is looking to just plow a girl that asked him out till the next right?

Idk, both girls that I've dated have asked me out. This read to me kinda like all woman should, which i would say why SHOULD either make the first move. In my head if someone like someone, make the first move. Why does it matter either way. I don't understand why there should be an expectation from either side.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
