Why don't you love your children? Has it always been like this?

You say his wife is a terrible person. And you make up things to justify it, even though you don't even know the woman. OP screwed up because he agreed to have a child with a woman he no longer loves. But the fact that she would get pregnant before leaving was something the wife couldn't have predicted. They could have had sex with a condom, especially since the contraceptive has to be cleared from the woman's system and it can be dangerous to get pregnant that way. The wife probably would have …

OP is a workaholic. I don't think he could, or WOULD, raise a newborn alone.

Exactly, they demonize the woman. As if she could be controlled to get pregnant before he leaves.

You can't know this, you're just making it up. You don't even know the woman, but you're slandering her. Plus, I didn't write at all that OP should stay with the woman, I was just writing that he's not in love with her anymore, he would leave them anyway. He can't control his feelings. You don't even know what you're talking about...

Don't you think she wanted to move, but she didn't want to start a new life in a strange place, with strange people, while pregnant? I don't think either of them thought she would get pregnant so soon. Plus, she didn't know that her husband was happy in the new place, because he hadn't even gone abroad yet.

Yes, they are similar in that the woman doesn't want to leave her family, her country, her life just for a job. The husband isn't interested in these things, he wants a new life, he loves his job. At this point, there could be a middle ground, but then one person would definitely be unhappy. But, as I said, OP's feelings wouldn't change even if his wife supported him, because they've been married for 3 years, but they've been in love(?) for maybe just 1 year.

If you don't see why this is cruel, then I can't do anything with you... Even if the wife moved there, it wouldn't change the OP's feelings. He's not in love with his wife, he doesn't love his child. Just his own little world.

It hurts to read this... It's selfish and cruel. But you can't change your feelings. You made a series of mistakes that brought you here. And your child will suffer for them. But you don't have any feelings for your wife or your child, so sooner or later you would have stepped down anyway.

I need some emotions for it too, but I would still do it in a way that I don't fall in love with the "plus one person". Not if I don't want to ruin my marriage. Your wife wasn't prepared (and she can't really prepare for it) for you to be in love with someone else. There's nothing like that between you anymore. Neither physical (she doesn't have a problem with that, because she's asexual), nor emotional bond, because you're already giving it to someone else.

I think it's because your wife thought you were just going to have sex. But instead, you started an emotional affair, and you fell in love. That's why the ENM needs to clarify who gets what in this, where the line is.

I don't know your case, so I won't argue with you. But child support goes to the person who raises the children.

Doesn't that money go to your child/children?

We are also single fathers with children, your attitude is strange...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
