Religion is basically fused to our way of life, and admittedly it is also majorly responsible for the sort of man and woman we have here. There is a huge emphasis here on game and spinning plates etc. but having a red pill relationship is when the partners involved are aware of the other's needs and deal with that in a way which preserves respect, both self respect and respect for the other. Personally I value the inner potential of humanity to rise to great heights and I would be willing to compromise if I could realistically contribute to that. But survival is the same reason for why societies are made in the first place instead of humans living entirely independently. Cohesive society for a variety of reasons improves the survival rates of its individuals.
