If he had lost, would she reimburse part of the money he lost? Of course not. So why should she have part of what he earned if it came only from his 5% and not from their actual combined income? Many on the sub didn’t even read the post and claim omg you can’t just buy a car without talking to your wife it’s a big decision. I think for another one of these situations I believe something to do with paying for dates someone on this sub did two versions. And the responses were all in favor of the woman. From seeing the shit show on the sub I’m thinking to make another account and post one a few days later because if I do right now they would realize. Bunch of teenagers and people who can’t hold a job or think logically. I’m a resident doc and I feel for this guy working 80 hrs a week. Heck if he burnouts he can even make mistakes. And for reference OP confirmed in the comments that they have separate bank accounts and one joint account. So he did contribute his fair share from his savings. I swear if it was the wife not working for a month and he asked her to work the women on the sub would calm him a pig or a manipulating pig. He also confirmed he is a resident doc.
