This is a bad comparison. If a woman has an abortion, she is exercising her choice to not have a child, and no one has a responsibility to raisethe child. Conversely if a man leaves the relationship and abandons the child, it is now up to the mother to take care of the child alone, which means you probably deserve the title of deadbeat. The quote in the picture is taken out of context, the author states that is the percentage is in the UK, going on to cite a major increase in the percentage of women incarcerated in the U.S. Also the article is actually about reforming the U.S. prison system, just starting with women prisons. She goes on to give multiple reasons to start with women's prisons.
