Same exact situation here. My grandfather, for what little he could do, was the best fatherly figure i ever had... Im 24 and still struggling to gain the self confidence to live and start my career. The only motivations that work are "my current job is absolute misery" "because society is structured so i cant do what i enjoy doing" and "because i have no choice." Maybe that outlook will change eventually, but at this point, i dont see it happening...
