Yeah it’s honestly a hard because perhaps in 2 years, he’ll be an adult and may look back with the same thoughts of it was okay because I consented as a minor. Which is wrong right? Well at least by law. Waiting a couple years shouldnt be too hard I guess

It’s a bit like how children can’t consent to sex because….well they’re young impressionable children. I think legally, one would be classed as a rapists/pedophile as the person they had sex with (even if they said yes) is a minor. I’m always a little confused around the different age limits in different states and a 20 yr old dating a 17 yr old for example.

Look, you might not mind going into work to have your back felt up by some gross old lady pretending to rub lotion on your back (literally makes me physically ill thinking about if it were me) but let’s not pretend in any form that this is acceptable or something that has to be tolerated at work much like this guy being kicked and kneed (physical violence) It’s not normal and he complained. Lolz why you mad! Judge didn’t abuse anything. The woman who smirked and laughed is the abusive one here do you not get that? Be mad when you see an abuse of power, not when someone who has worked to get the power using it as she should. Court is for justice and if her attitude is to laugh at the death her son caused during the victim statement - she deserves jail time

The only scenes of slavery in the film are when the main character gets kidnapped by the “evil bad run by man tribe” , they break free and let the other captured slaves go while fighting their way out. I watched it thinking, aren’t the ones in cages literally the ones they caught and sold to this tribe in the first place

The judicial system between uk and us is so different though. I mean the laws between states are different let alone uk and us. I think the uk tends to have some level of discrepancy or at least more so than the us though. I think each case is individual also I can’t really say who deserves more time or not.

The judge yells a lot and they reschedule it even though the dude was like “I thought this would have been thrown out it immediately…” I want to know the results of what happened In the end of the court case - my sense or real justice suggests he got screwed over and had to pay that horrible woman

Does this count as rape? Forgive me if I’m wrong but it sounds like it was a mutual thing?Obviously still wrong as the other girl was a minor so didn’t know enough to know it was wrong but considering they went at it multiple times?
