Ladies, when you reject a man, you reject his existence as well.Lay off the JBP and the red pill stuff when you're too young because it's a caricature of the world. It'll have you analysing all sorts of things when all you should be doing is going to clubs and mingling like normies | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/08/18 03:37 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Feminist. Socialist. Divorced. lol. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/07/18 03:50 PM
Conflicting signals: women are their most sexual at 18 or 30?Psychological factors (such as self-esteem, etc.) no doubt play a part but that has already been mentioned. Generally, though, as women age and natural oestrogen declines there is a thinning of the inner vaginal wall, which can make it easier for penetrative sex to stimulate the inner parts of the clitoris. One can assume that this makes (penetrative) sex more pleasurable and therefore more salient. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/07/18 03:45 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?I don't deny that healthcare should be free for preventable illnesses that are of no fault to the individual but I am against blanket free healthcare for all. Think about this, the person who smokes 20 a day is more likely to require expensive treatment down the line. It's not just to expect the taxpayer to foot the bill, is it. Ideal healthcare to me looks like this: it's free to start with, and as you start doing things like smoking, drinking, becoming overweight or sedentary, it goes up. It's… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 08:24 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Thanks for your reply. 40 lbs is absolutely fantastic. Have you picked up a 40 lb dumbbell or weight to see how much it is that you have actually lost? Also, not to detract from your comment about women appreciating kindness, but what is special about practicing medicine? It's not really about kindness, because we wouldn't do it for free. Privatised healthcare is a whole different can of worms. Personally, I think it's ludicrous to let people treat their bodies as they please and have the taxpay… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 07:30 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?I have conceded hypocrisy in the OP. I am a flawed human being. In other news, the Pope is Catholic. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 07:26 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Thanks for your reply. It's not necessarily a gender issue. Let me try to orient my thoughts. It's not so much that I don't hold myself to a high standard at all. In fact, I would argue the contrary, certainly for the past few years at least. I would also apply the same rigorous standards to anyone I would consider entering into a relationship with. When I originally mentioned holding women to a higher standard, it was in relation to the shock associated with understanding that they are just hum… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 07:21 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Unbelievable, mate. I'm glad you've picked yourself up, lost weight and cracked on. It really is rewarding to get your life together. As an aside, what type of cardioversion did you undergo? I know they're trying to phase out electrical cardioversion. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 05:40 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?I don't have some inane list as long as my arm like a lot of what I read. I would like companionship and loyalty. I also consider myself extremely prudent and often call the potential for companionship and loyalty into question for a number of reasons; one of which formed the basis for this discussion. Thank you for commenting. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 05:37 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? There are some decent nuggets of advice in there amidst the chaff, if not entirely relevant. With respect, it is entirely possible that you don't think it's a gender issue because you cannot understand what life as a man is like, as I do not pretend to understand that of women. It's convenient to whip out the "M word" at the nearest opportunity but I would appreciate real discussion. Hurling pejoratives adds precisely zero value to the conversation. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 05:35 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? To be honest, mainstream feminism, years of love and nurturing from my mother, and pedestalising unattainable women is probably responsible for my holding females to a higher standard than I held men. Really coming to terms with the reality that women are just humans out for themselves. I think that's the takeaway lesson here. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 04:23 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Some logical arguments here. Thank you. How did you come to terms with the idea of everything being transactional? Have you found that it has prevented you from developing real, profound relationships with members of the opposite sex? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 02:07 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Thank for your your candour. Don't get me wrong, being fat was one piece of an absolute mess of a puzzle. Not the only issue. Maybe it's different wherever you are, but in the U.K., loads of people in the Medical School I attend are losers. Great guys, don't get me wrong, but losers nonetheless. I also didn't decide on Medicine as a school-leaver but rather applied in my early 20s via a separate scheme. I guess I stopped "being a loser", as far as my definition goes, before getting my life in or… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 02:05 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? You've made some good points. I'll certainly consider them. Thank you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 01:07 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? You are saying I changed because how I looked and what I did changed. It is absolutely OK to base your definition of an individual around what he/she does, but please do not assume that others may use the same definition. The definition of the self, to me, is more than what we do. What we do =/= who we are. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 01:02 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Thanks for the comment, mate. When you're unattractive, women are more than disdainful. While I can't speak objectively, it certainly seemed like females were intentionally cruel. It's bad enough as a young male (almost always low status) but as an unattractive one you're barely a piece of dirt on a shoe, and are treated accordingly. I would still recommend engaging with women sexually. I find that a small amount of sex stops me thinking about it all the time and allows me to concentrate on my s… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 12:58 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Did you find yourself just generally distrusting the opposite sex? It's kind of hard to describe in words. Have you managed to overcome it and have meaningful relationships with males? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 12:53 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Very fair comment. I'll take it on board. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 12:52 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? While not the best term, I used the word "shallow" for ease of communication. If it were as easy as "getting over myself", I'd have already done it. I am looking for actionable and thought-out advice. Thank you for commenting. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 12:49 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?I can see where you are coming from, and I have certainly had similar feelings of bitterness and resentment in the past. To inflict on others that which is unfair because injustice has been done to you does not solve anything, however. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 12:45 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Pearls before swine. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:53 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Thank you for your comment. You're absolutely right. If it were solely women who had actually changed towards me I'd have a leg to stand on. As it is, the treatment I received from say, 50-100 women in school was extrapolated to form my general understanding of women. Imagine that I've used the exact same process with how women treat me now. Overall, there is a huge shift. Whilst I understand that this logic is inherently flawed, I hope that it perhaps enables you and others to gain an appreciat… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:47 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Perhaps I conveyed in the original or subsequent posts the wrong idea. It's not that women wouldn't have me before, which even at the time I accepted. It was the treatment that was worse than plain disdain. Even some of those same women now treat me positively. This post is about coming to terms with the realisation that the same women who are sweet, kind and feminine are capable of malevolence. I can't seem to reconcile the two. Thank you for commenting. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:36 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Would you characterise my ramblings here as "raging and resentful"? If you would like to contribute, I would welcome genuine discussion. Knee-jerk comments such as "get over yourself" add nothing to the conversation. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:30 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? There are a lot of assumptions here. Please feel free to ask for more details if necessary before jumping to conclusions. I never felt as though I deserved sex from females at all. The real issue at hand is the sheer change in how I was treated. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:27 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? You're dead on the money, mate. Thanks for contributing. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:25 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? It's not about lack of sex. I could probably argue that how I was treated was bullying bordering on abuse. Please feel free to ask me if there are details you wish to understand better. Don't assume. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:24 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Thank you for the kind words, mate. I didn't expect individuals on both sides of the 'pill spectrum' to be so kind and forthcoming with genuine advice. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:22 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?I'd imagine men who transition from having no money and no female interest to success and female interest feel similarly. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:19 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Thanks, man. Fascinating isn't it. What TRP says about watching what she does instead of says is really on the money. I think you're dead on when you mention dropping the fairytale idealism of marriage. I'm curious, is it something that you went through by yourself, or did you talk to your wife about TRP and liberate yourselves together? I could imagine finding it difficult living in the real world whilst my hypothetical wife lives the fairytale dream. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:17 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Thanks for commenting. I have already come to terms with how shallow I am in regards to looks. The next step is accepting that females are the same, which is what I am struggling with currently. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:14 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Yeah but I think it's just humans, mate. Let me put it this way. I know that I'm not interested in unattractive/overweight women. No one really cares though, because I'm a man and it's kind of obvious that we like attractive women, right? The thing is, there is this schema/paradigm that is instilled in a great deal of us males. We get to taste what feels like unconditional love (from out mothers) for the first few years of our lives and develop this idea of females as benevolent and nurturing be… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:07 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?I agree with you entirely, but how do you KNOW that they value what's on the inside? To take it further, how will people know what is really on the inside? To illustrate, I act differently around different people. I project what I want people to see. Even if people do "like what's on the inside", we can't be sure that it's even genuine. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 11:04 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Thank you for your comment. When you say "don't waste your prime", what do you mean by that? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 10:59 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Have you lost weight/improved yourself physically since? If so, how has the change affected your interactions with others? In addition, do you ever stop viewing yourself as the fat kid? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 10:57 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? This is a brilliant and well-structured comment. I would have imagined that women would respond to this post with classic knee-jerk cries of "misogyny!", so thank you. It is actually quite refreshing to be honest about my views/feelings and not to be chastised or berrated. I have tried counselling at University to no avail. Perhaps you are correct in that it takes the right counsellor to really click. When I think about it, the majority of my problems get solved in my head through introspection … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 10:55 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? One of the reasons that I decided to make this post is because I'm a fair way into my 20s now and my attitude doesn't seem to be changing. Thank you for commenting | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 10:29 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? With knowledge of how things really are, I feel entirely unable to confide in women. The logic goes something like this: if a woman is interested in me for being attractive, then she must be shallow, and if she's shallow, she will experience only revulsion if I show any emotion. I understand that it's flawed, and I am trying to discover ways to overcome it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 10:27 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? My father taught me always to accept my lot in life. I was content then and I am content now. | 1 | Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Thank you for the comment. I'll check it out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 10:22 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Very good point. Phrased politely, too. The thing is, how I was perceived back then didn't factor into it because I had this blanket view of women as shallow to the point where I didn't bother even pursuing them. My point is that I understand that I was unattractive to women, and I could just accept it if I was plain attractive to women now. Fine. But, the issue is in how they treat me. As far as I am concerned, I feel like EXACTLY the same person as before, but females around me have gone from … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/03/18 10:21 AM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Very interesting perspective. I had thought, previously, that I was unattracted to overweight women because of them making poor dietary choices (being undisciplined) or for being inactive but I never thought to turn it around and apply it to my own situation. Thank you for your comment. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 10:37 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Fascinating. | 3 | Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Did you find that the realisation that your wife's attraction is conditional difficult to process? I appreciate that it's kind of writ large and not exactly anything new, but I think I would find that hard to process. I view marriage, or the idea of human partnership, as being completely loyal and devoted to one another. The idea of my life partner becoming less attracted to me because I was in a car accident is nothing short of horrifying to me. I hope that you understand I am not criticising y… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 10:25 PM

Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? To be fair, it was dead-on. I'm game for all debate, not just the things that make me feel good. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 10:16 PM

Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? In addition to this, I mentioned in another comment thread how I feel that the inside of me hasn't caught up with the outside. It's really quite difficult to sum up but it feels as though I've donned someone else's skin and it's as though I'm peering through. I spent so long a loser that the whole thing feels like a façade. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 10:13 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?I'm probably still holding on to the idea that I want someone to love me unconditionally like my mother. That being said, I used the phrase "love me for me" for ease of communication. To break it down further, love, to me, is about unconditional support for one another. Sickness and in health and all that. For me, it's more that any kind of 'love' will feel tainted by the idea that I provide superficial benefits to someone. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 10:11 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Thank you very much for your comment. I feel like you summed it up better than I could. I'm not sure how to quote on here but you hit the nail on the head when you wrote that you felt a whole world of respect was withheld from you. I'm glad to hear that you were able to get over the bitterness. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 10:03 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? They're not all that mate. Once you get past the "I've fucked enough women that I feel validated" stage, it's so pointless. On one occasion, I found myself staring out of the window while fucking this girl from behind, just observing the way the trees were swaying in the spring breeze. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 09:57 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Thanks for the comment, mate. I understand that it is fortunate to view humans for the shallow beings that they are, myself included. Have you found that you have been able to form meaningful relationships with women since improving your skin? And, if you'll pardon the intrusion, did they treat you poorly before? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 09:54 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? To me, it actually feels like I'm some kind of impostor. Like someone is going to peel back the thin veil and view the "real" me. 'Meowmeowmeoww' said it right. Deep down I still feel like the same loser. It's like my external appearance/mannerisms have changed but the inside hasn't caught up. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 09:51 PM

Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow? Thanks for the comment. It's tough for me to actually view women as human beings and I've not had a single female friendship in my life. I think, as well, that I would struggle having a purely platonic friendship with a woman because I would feel like I was defective if she wasn't attracted to me sexually. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 09:50 PM
Male, overweight, short and unattractive in teenage years to tall, athletic and handsome in my 20s. How to overcome viewing women as so shallow?Mate this is probably the most nuanced and witty aphorism. Thank you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/03/18 09:48 PM

Speaking anecdotally, my brother's LTR acts all cute and loving. Needless to say, when he had had enough of her, there was his xbox, tv and clothes all outside in the rain. No mentally healthy woman would actually destroy your stuff I can't think of a single woman that would amicably respond to being dropped. | 1 | How to introduce my father to TRP - the right way.Sometimes it's not enough to hint at someone. Some people need a kick up the arse. Men generally respond well to overt communication. I was overweight as a kid and it took my brother saying I was a useless fat fuck to get me to change. I hated him for it at the time but now I'm thankful. Perhaps it's a case of taking one for the team and overtly telling your father that you don't respect him and he is useless. | /r/askTRP | 09/01/18 03:41 PM |
Lost Frame, lost a girlSome good advice on this thread, mate. I posted to a thread a while back about how I confided in my LTR about depression. She seemed all nice, understanding and supportive at first but that shit kills all respect and turns women into the fucking Sahara. And when women don't respect you, they're not as nice, submissive, kind, thoughtful, etc. We've all been where you are. It sucks, but it's part of life. | 1 | FR: My Worst FuckupsGreat post mate. It reminds me of when I was (very) new to TRP principles and just getting out of Nice Guy mode and I escalated from teasing this girl I was seeing to straight up insulting her, making fun of her face, etc (she had bad acne as a kid). Poor girl started crying. "Treat em mean, keep em keen", I thought. Lmao. | /r/TheRedPill | 07/01/18 09:10 PM
