1	Challenge My View Nice guy(TM) is a useless label. Women do generally like nice guys - it's just not the only thing that matters nor is it necessarily at the top of the list - it's just on the list. Nice guy might be nice but if he's also ugly and boring, then girl who likes hot, funny nice guys would obviously choose a hot funny asshole (2/3) over an ugly boring nice guy. Doesn't mean she's lying about wanting nice guys - she just doesn't want it more than and above all else. 1	Why do so many men assume that if/when a woman rejects a man, it’s because she is holding out for someone with a higher SMV? I think guys assume that a girl who rejects him is looking for something better. In reality it's just you didn't meet the chemistry threshold - she'd rather go home alone than with you. If she (a 5) meets someone above the threshold who is a 4 she'd go with him. If a 7 above the threshold approached she might decide he's hotter and ditch the 4, but majority of rejections are not "what if better options are out there" it's more "I don't want you regardless of the other options".
