4	My Asian Parents I will say this about marriage. As long as I live in the US the idea of marriage is just a flat out fantasy. People forget that marriage is created by a woman and at the end of the day it’s a business transaction. While I get that parents of different cultures view marriage as a way of extending their lineage, passing on their family name, legacy, or having kids, it doesn’t mix.
