True. Although, incels didn’t coin the term ‘incel’ as an insult, they used it mainly as a descriptive term. This is not how the word is used today, instead being almost exclusively used as an insult. So I would argue that the context in which the term is used today was created by those (often progressives’) who intend to use it as an insult, and as such, it isn’t relevant who coined the term, as it’s meaning and use has changed drastically since it was first coined.

Yes. And actually, while women are shamed for having ‘too much’ sex, men are equally shamed for not having ‘enough’ sex. Thats why the word ‘incel’ is running so rampant these days and has essentially lost all meaning, because women (and men) love to mock men by suggesting they do not have sex. The words ‘slut’ and ‘incel’ are just opposite sides of the same coin. But only one is acceptable to call the other, as man-shaming is much more acceptable than the other way around. It’s a shame.
