Therapy is super underrated for seductionYeah they can go a long way but my God I know some good looking dudes who couldn't keep a woman interested to save their life because they lack these. | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 10:19 PM
Therapy is super underrated for seductionHe's probably talking about reactivity in the sense of needy or emotionally unstable reactions to a woman. If she says something negative, his emotions go haywire and she sees that he isn't solid. Non-reactivity is sort of like the verbal or conversational equivalent of "cool guys don't look at explosions." Stuff just doesn't phase you. That's attractive. | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 09:03 PM
Therapy is super underrated for seductionIt won't work for everyone. It's not easy and simple to find a therapist who can interact with you where you're at mentally and get through to you in a positive way. But to say it doesn't work and can't help you have more success? That's just not true. | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 06:53 PM
Therapy is super underrated for seductionWow, you seem like a wonderful and mentally sound person. Here's an enormous systematic review. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31758858/ Here's another one https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5992015/ Here's another one https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S174438811930965X Next time don't pick fights for no reason. Just educate yourself. And you may not think you come off aggressively, but you definitely do, as evidenced by the swarm of downvotes you got because nobod… | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 06:51 PM
Therapy is super underrated for seductionJust because they use psychology doesn't mean they advocate therapy | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 06:06 PM
Therapy is super underrated for seductionThere's a ton of evidence... Which you would know if you bothered to Google instead of providing a passive aggressive reply to someone trying to help. Here's one study. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0005791612000407 | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 05:44 PM
Therapy is super underrated for seductionModels is sort of an outlier in the dating community. Therapy is NOT the first line choice for practically any dating resource out there for inner game. Sure, many of the advice posted on here resembles CBT, but that's a far cry from sitting down with an actual therapist and getting into the weeds. I'm glad you see the value and normalize it though, we need more of that. The vast majority of conversations I've had were either resistant to the idea or disinterested. | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 03:22 PM
Therapy is super underrated for seductionLol how many dating coaches and books do you see talking about therapy? I've read plenty and heard it mentioned maybe once? I think I've only seen a post about therapy once or twice on this subreddit. | /r/seduction | 07/05/21 02:34 PM
This is often overlooked but important thing when dealing with womenNo, 90% of communication is NOT non-verbal. The original study that is quoted ad nauseum was horribly flawed. Go watch a movie without audio some time and see if you still understand 90% of the plot. What you say is very important. Sure, you can communicate things non-verbally that make or break the interaction but a bit of fidgeting is not going to kill you if your conversation is amazing. | /r/seduction | 26/04/21 11:52 AM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?Honestly great idea. Will do this for a follow-up I think. I'll add a couple sample convos onto the end of this book though | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 08:19 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?I think the way I might raise that then is with a conversation outside the bedroom before and after. "Don't ever hesitate to tell me you like or don't like something. You can always say you want something different and I'll respect that and adjust." Something along those lines before. And afterwards, asking if there was anything she thought could be improved or any adjustments she would want. | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 07:14 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered? Not perfectly, and every woman is different, but I've noticed trends. There are established erogenous zones when you average out a population. The majority of women I've been with got turned on by grasping the base of their hair (not pulling the ends, that can really hurt). They may smile, or open their mouth to start breathing heavier. Their skin might flush. They may initiate a kiss. Those are all things I experienced that created that understanding after I integrated play with the hair with t… | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 06:47 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?Lot to unpack. There's good points on both of your ends. You're right in that I just provided one off the cuff example for one type of girl and it isn't one size fits all. Every girl is different, so consent isnt something that should be cookie cutter. Some women you have to be very clear and assertive about the conversation before they will speak up about what they are into and ok with. Others will tell you before you even ask. In terms of the example I provided, yes it could be seen as presump… | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 06:40 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered? It's a hard one. I think therapy helps, but also avoiding the external stimuli that reinforce those patterns of FOMO, unfair comparisons, and pressure to be more "successful." Changing your environment to support healthy, wholesome ambition helps a lot. I think I'll include sections on how to manage one's relationship with social media and friendships that can really exacerbate these issues. | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 06:12 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered? To help men: Have more positive, meaningful, fulfilling interactions with women. Gain a better understanding of social dynamics Become more attractive and genuine versions of themselves. Deal with anxiety, pain, fear of rejection, and become more able to put themselves out there with women | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 06:09 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?I'll take the time to comment because I honestly pity you. I don't say anywhere in my book that appearance doesn't matter. There's a reason I mention skincare and exercise. A therapist can't fix your face, no, but they can help you fix your life and be mentally healthy enough to go to the gym and be more successful and have more fun with your life. They can also help you let go of toxic grudges like "hot dudes who don't even put any effort into style can get laid, but I can't because I'm not nat… | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 06:05 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?Yeah, I included a section about self-esteem and success. That putting on a confident face, and having "success" according to society is all well and good, but building real self esteem through meeting the goals that are meaningful to you, and growing along the way is more lasting and reliably impactful. | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 06:00 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?Very helpful. I contemplated stories from guys as well but I've just known too many to exaggerate or misrepresent, intentionally out of ego or unintentionally because they misunderstood the situation, to include secondhand stories from them. | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 05:57 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?I think it'd be fun to write a book for women seeking women or something, but my experience is limited in that area. It'd be largely based on interviews and the sociology literature, which are both difficult to tease out concrete ideas from without personally vetting them against experienced reality I think. By consent talk made sexy, you mean like "I want to tease around your clit until you can't stand it anymore. You'd like that wouldn't you?" ? | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 05:54 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?I think spending your time disparaging an entire community with diverse people and diverse ideas online says more about your status than theirs. | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 05:34 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?Have you read most of them? Half are just written to promote overpriced products, and most of the rest are the blind leading the blind. Many aren't up to date on the realities of modern dating. Also, the purpose is to help them DO the things you claim "none of us" do. | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 05:33 PM
Writing a book - what would you guys like covered?Do you mean that these are the more challenging areas for most guys here? Or that they would disagree with this subject material? | /r/seduction | 28/03/21 05:29 PM
Not sure what to do with my time other than working out 5 times a week 60 minutes. 17. Not in the city. At the moment im in portor ose woth my family. Just been browsing seddit. Want to do somethingLearn an instrument like piano or guitar. Helps your brain. Great emotional outlet. Can use it to meet people later on | /r/seduction | 07/07/18 07:05 PM
How do I compete against guys who have a larger frame, more accomplished, and better looking than me?You're comparing yourself to these "guys" on three data points, size, looks, and accomplishment. Two of these things you can change, and are changing. There is no magic secret for success and physique. You just put in the work. At the end of the day any average man can build himself to the point where he is a man of value. But as long as you see other men and identify ONE point where they beat you as the sole reference point for your own value, you'll never stop sabotaging yourself. Traits do no… | /r/seduction | 22/06/18 02:39 AM
Hot girl approaches me at the gym...She's interested. Probably on the rocks with the bf. Just befriend her, enjoy her company and see where things lead. Girls often will set something else up before dumping their guy, could be the move | /r/seduction | 20/06/18 02:34 AM
Asked a girl out, got "I'll see whats going on that day"Kind of rare to get a comment like that if the girl is really interested. She may actually have needed to double check, but if she is interested she'll reach out to you. Otherwise, I'd just keep the friendship moving forward when you run into her and be chill about the whole thing, not forcing anything. Men of abundance dont worry about one girl being wishy washy or not | /r/seduction | 20/06/18 02:28 AM
