How is a community called "againstmensrights" even allowed?? That's ridiculous.

Do you have an understanding of Venial vs Mortal sin? Venial is less serious, or something like that. But that is. We believe and we strive to be like him. We will fail at it, and when we do, we have the Sacrament of Confession there to obtain absolution and mercy from the Lord. I'm surprised to hear you say that b/c I've heard other Catholics say that if you don't pray the Rosary, if you don't go to Mass, if you don't confess, if you don't do this and that you'll go to hell. The impression I'm …

Thank you very much! This has shed a lot of light on things I was wondering about :) Christ did not leave us a book, but he did leave us specific men, with specific jobs and responsibilities, and the special gift of Ordination (ie. A Church). Those men chose successors, who via confirmation as a Bishop by a previous Bishop, transfer the role of Apostle on earth (Apostolic Succession). Those Successors to the Apostles, via an Ecumenical Council, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, compiled …

Hmm ok, thank you for taking the time to include those quotes and for the explanation :). It makes more sense when you say that it's like getting a friend to pray for you and that you're not worshipping them, I think that's important. But what makes you say that the Saints are closer than any living friends? As far as I know it's the Church(or men) or decide if someone is a Saint or not, not God. Also, is it true that for Catholics the Church comes first and then the Bible? Is that accurate? If …

Ah ok, I see what you're saying. What about Ecclesiastes 5-6 which says that the dead will never again have a part in anything that happens under the sun? Also, why would we need a Saint to intercede on our behalf to God when Jesus does that? Jesus died for us and took the punishment for us so we wouldn't have to. If you pray to Jesus, that'd be better than anyone who was human and is now dead. What does Catholicism say about that? (As a Protestant I'm curious 😀). Thanks.

Hey bro, why do you say pray to St. Rita? The bible is pretty clear about only praying to God and no one else. I may be misintrepreting what you said but the way you worded it made me curious.

True dude. Myself and a few others tried to give some helpful advice on a Christian subreddit and as soon as you mention the Red Pill or MGTOW you get tons of downvotes.

I don't know if you'd want to do that. Sex outside of marriage is dangerous on many levels. What if you get an STD or what if she gets pregnant? I think abstinence is the best way to go if you want to get married both for religious and other reasons.

That's a 911 right? I love the way Porsches look on the outside but I think the interiors could use a little more. IMO it's getting better with the more recent models.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
