You just answered yourself why it works for both of you: I’ll lay out the story, tell him what actions I plan to take and then ask him what he would do differently. Most women won't ask what he would do differently. They expect that he just listen to their story and don't bother them with any type of solution. This will leave most men confused and they feel useless because she didn't even consider to ask for an opinion! If you take a look at the MBTI you'll see that there is a big conflict betwe…

You need to be interesting. What does a man get from you beside sex when he gets in a relationship with you? He's the gatekeeper of commitment so you need to show him that you are worth of his commitment and most guys won't know that you are a submissive woman who will support him once you've established a good relationship. In my experience most women who are not able to get a guy attracted to them are boring. If your date finds you physically attractive and is smart enough to know he won't get…

As a german I'm used to pay my half of the bill. For most men here it is a red flag if you let him pay for you. I'm very comfortable with this because otherwise I would get the feeling he payed for spending time with me. That also bothers me when some guys try to get my attention at a bar or club when they're spending me a drink. If you're an interesting person you don't have to do this!

My mothers family is from russia and there is no need for a gun if you don't go into any slums or poor areas. I don't know where you're from, but I've never been to a larger city in eastern europe where I felt unsafe or else!

I am 28 right now and in a 3 year relationship with a great guy. I have lived in Berlin for nearly two years and I would say it is a great city to get to know a lot of good men. In general germans are very distant and not emotional when you first meet them, but time after time they loosen up and from that point on you are able to find friends for the rest of your live. Be prepared that all good men expect you to pay your own bills and won't invite you on the first dates. Most german women are ve…

1: Ask him to read TO you. It may slow him down a little or get him to read crucial bits to you. He laughed when I asked him to do this. In his eyes this is not very cost-benefit, so he won't ever consider to read to me out loud. Only if I would be sick, than he would do anything! 2: Ask questions about what he's reading. Do a little research, catch up via news stories and wikipedia, and ask the important questions. Did that, but could understand a bit of it. One thing was a 150 page analysis of…

Ask him to explain He hates that. An intelligent person knows where to get the information which is needed. He wants me to be nearly as dedicated to improve myself as him.

I get the sneaky suspicion that he's telling you he wants to date himself as a shit test. He would never do a shit test. He is all aware that women do that very often and he hates it. He told me that he would have left me if I ever tried to shit test him in the first three month of our relationship. In his eyes it's pure weakness to do a shit test on anyone you care about. I would rather say that he really would like to date his best friend. They're like brothers they share many interests but ar…

If he says he needs input, I would do what the other posters said >and try to maintain a working knowledge of current event and such >so you can at least talk about it Sorry for responding this late, but I needed to make sure that I get him right. The last week and a half I spent much time with him and his friends to see how things work. Their main topic was the coup in turkey. They discussed it non-stop, everyone had a different opinion and everyone tried to convince the others. They were all w…

If he wanted a debate partner he'd go drink and talk with a male friend I once asked him, what would be the perfect girl for him and he answered: my best friend with ladyparts! The main thing I do is listen. And I mean really listen, follow his train of thought. He doesn't want that. He told me he needs input, especially from his partner, because later on if he has a family he won't be able to see his friends very often. Even a Sigma like a pleasant disposition, a supportive partner, and domesti…
