But that is just how the world works, I think a quote from Machiavelli, is of use here. "Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. I am reading it right now, and its a decent book, I have a feeling that that book has sort of more "character integrity" if that is what you are looking for. The law 38 (Think as you like but behave like others) doesn't suggest that you should keep your mouth shut so that you don't hurt the feelings of others by having a different opinion.
