I usually stay out of this kind of stuff, but /r/news and /r/worldnews are both pretty bad with agenda and bias. About as bad as /r/politics. Even if I don't agree with certain articles, they should be seen if they are good. I think we should at least be respectful and mature enough to point out he had misogynistic ideals. I think that with trolls such as this, it's really not so organized and the "target" varies. The target was everyone equally. I only cared to look at it once and there were certainly some sincere, legitimate accounts of proclaimed feminists supporting it.
