Mother is half Chinese and half Japanese, father is white and Hispanic. So I’m half Asian. It’s really just my eyes that look Asian but it’s enough to get fairly regular comments, I think even if there are disadvantages to your racial/ethnic background you’ve got to push past that. 0	Passing notes in College? It depends. Something like that could be so novel they'd be taken aback by it. They'd inevitably size you up, so you'd need to exude confidence.
