Unusually for Cracked, a thoughtful and considerate article about negative representations of men in popular culture.Often, yes, because masculinity and authority are often tied together. | /r/MensRights | 17/05/17 04:49 PM
Unusually for Cracked, a thoughtful and considerate article about negative representations of men in popular culture.I don't feel this has anything to do with the gender of the parents. It just appeals to children, especially preteens. They see their parents as authority figures and want to start learning and experiencing on their own. The main character always rebels because it is what children that age desire, but can't actually do in reality. You run off, how are you going to eat? Where are you going to sleep? It won't be nearly as pleasant as in a movie. But they can live vicariously through the hero. | /r/MensRights | 17/05/17 04:23 PM
This Is My Problem With (Some) Modern FeministsI think the author is suggesting that Binx is acting as the opposition and shouldn't be. | /r/MensRights | 30/09/15 02:37 PM

Woman attempts to burn down her own house with daughter sleeping inside and isn't charged with attempted murderMurder is the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought, meaning killing them has to be your goal. She wasn't trying to kill her daughter, she was just fucking wasted. Her daughter wasn't even a thought in her mind, which is why it isn't murder. Child endangerment and a slew of other crimes? probably. Hitting someone while you're drunk driving isn't murder, it is vehicular manslaughter. | /r/PussyPass | 11/05/15 08:13 PM
Anti-rape posterAh, okay. I was thinking, like, checking in to a hotel or something. | /r/MensRights | 19/11/12 05:15 PM
Anti-rape posterWhat does "checked in with her" even mean? I honestly don't understand. | /r/MensRights | 19/11/12 05:11 PM
Oh, Tumblr.True. I can only have the information given by the OP. | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 03:32 AM
Oh, Tumblr.I don't disagree with that, either. But these people saying he didn't deserve any repercussions for such a threat are out of their gourde. | /r/MensRights | 10/07/12 03:12 AM
Oh, Tumblr.I agree with you. Threats aren't right, especially specific threats. It doesn't matter if the target hears it or not. It is a threat and that sort of shit is actually illegal. A customer I had to turn away recently said he would get his gun and "shoot everyone up in here." Was he pissed because we refused to serve him? Probably. I was shaken for the rest of the day and we ended up calling the police. We didn't press charges (it is called "Menacing" apparently) but threats of physical harm are il… | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 11:55 PM
Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Couldn't agree more. I've been considering unsubscribing because of the the general bad advice and anti-women sentiment that I've been getting from the comments. I'd love to see more people that can understand when something is clearly a joke and generally not get outraged whenever anything may slightly favor women in some way. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 04:26 AM
I've never been so angered by a picture in my life. (From Facebook)Men do exactly the same thing. We could just neutralize it and have it speak the truth as people. Fine: I don't think the argument is worth it. Nothing: There is probably something wrong, but (it is something I'd rather deal with on my own) OR (I don't think it is worth upsetting you over) Go Ahead: I would prefer if you did not do it and it will lose your "points" for doing it, but if you feel the reward outweighs the risk I will not stop you. Whatever: You're probably right and I don't want to… | /r/MensRights | 07/07/12 04:37 PM
a white knights idea of "male privilege"Male privilege checklist This list is based on Peggy McIntosh’s article on white privilege. These dynamics are but a few examples of the privilege which male people have. On a daily basis as a male person… My odds of being hired for a job, when competing against female applicants, are probably skewed in my favor. The more prestigious the job, the larger the odds are skewed. If I fail in my job or career, I can feel sure this won’t be seen as a black mark against my entire sex’s capabilities. | 2 | Dear MRA: Please stop attacking women and feminist aggressively. Take the upper road.I am not a feminist, good sir. I am not even female. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/12 11:24 PM

Dear MRA: Please stop attacking women and feminist aggressively. Take the upper road. These are things that need to be corrected, you are right, but it can be done without turning into the creatures they claim us to be. I've seen many posts where women will say something misandrist and the replies would be just hate and blind spite. It is hard to feel sympathy for either group when they're just slinging shitstones at each other. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/12 03:41 PM
| -1 | Dear MRA: Please stop attacking women and feminist aggressively. Take the upper road.I agree that there are a lot of issues that become anti-male which need correcting, but I don't think attacking the entire group is appropriate. Women have issues that need addressing as well. | /r/MensRights | 30/06/12 03:37 PM |
Dear MRA: Please stop attacking women and feminist aggressively. Take the upper road. Please explain to me why feminism deserves to be attacked | /r/MensRights | 30/06/12 03:20 PM
Forget sex, women should force men to do chores to make them happy! That's a pretty misleading title. The article suggests that doing chores, in general, leads to a higher degree of happiness in both men and women. | /r/MensRights | 29/06/12 10:29 PM
| -1 | It's shit like this, Hallmark. What does it say on the inside? Also can we keep the key reddit catch phrases out of here? "it's shit like this" is basically "UPVOTE ME PLEASE" in my eyes. | /r/MensRights | 24/06/12 02:08 PM |
