It's okay to look, but not to loooook. Give it like 1/2 a second then make eye contact with a feeling of gratitude for their fashion choices. In other words, don't beat yourself up about what might be an involuntary response. Follow the other advice, whatever works. Just don't start hating yourself over it.

No, you're not worth it. Is that good enough for you? 🙂

Are you doing the "friends" part of friends with benefits? Maybe he wants you as a friend even if he's dating someone else?

You should probably get some distance between you and your family. They sound like they're really toxic. You might just be desperate to get away from them.

"Not at first ... let's save that for when I've really got you going." How's that sound?

You're fighting against your own hormones and biological drives in that situation. It could happen to anybody. Kudos are most definitely in order. Is it so fucking hard for you to say "good for you". What is your major malfunction? A little validation goes a long way. If this is the response he gets from people like you then maybe next time he'll rape her.

You need to be able to describe what happened after the fact. That's what the terminology is for. While you're in the early stages of learning, you're going to be awkward. Girls are people and there all different kinds of people. They all enjoy different things.

If she wants to be friends, then decide what being friends means to you. If you're looking for love/sex and self improvement then that should be your main focus. Give her less of your time and establish dine boundaries around the kind of things you are willing to do with/talk about with her. Judging from your post I'm assuming that you are a cis het male. That right there is a different kind of friendship than being one of her gal pals or her gay best friend. If you're still attracted to her the…

There's different kinds of humor. If you're smiling and happy then people will be happy and smiling with you. Everyone is attracted to that, not just women. If you're nor careful you'll get drawn away from the people who want to fuck and towards the people who just want to talk.

You could have told her, "well that's a dick move!" :)

Okay, you've got them if you need them. That's what I care about. They're not a magic cure, just a little extra help. You went and saw a doctor about it, that's good.

If you can't let go of the past then don't bother with her. If your relationship gets past the infatuation stage then the past is going to come up every time you argue with her. And you will fight with her, because that's a big part of any serious relationship.

Talk to a doctor and get your overall depression level checked out, now! If you have a bit of depression now it will be a hell of a lot easier to deal with it now. It's like diabetes or cancer in that early detection is the key.

Yeah, I understand. When I lost my V it was because I asked my tantra teacher for a referral to a professional (perfectly legal at the time). I was able to try out some of the communication techniques I had learned. It felt pretty good. I didn't ejaculate but that wasn't the point. I realize now that my bitterness wasn't just about sex but my preconceived notions about what relationships were. I can't seem to keep up the motivation to improve myself.

Oh, hell no. They're like my comfort zone. It's like they're drawn to me.

Yeah, I sure am a master complainer. :) Most people who complain like I do have given up on life. But me, I'm still trying.

I've got one. I got medication and everything. This is actually an improvement from where I was ten years ago. This is mostly residual crap from back then.

It goes to attitude. I know I have emotional problems that I've got to work around. Stuff like moving away from negative expectations.

What does 'giving her some potion' mean?

The first time is usually the hardest. Try approaching someone you don't have as strong feelings for and see if you are more relaxed about it. It doesn't have to be a great love affair, just something two people do for fun (and because it feels good). I'm not suggesting anything specific.

I know it's kind of a joke but it's kind of a good idea. It reminds you to check in with your partner during sex especially if you're just getting started with them. Also, it provides a wonderful opportunity to remind people to ask before erotically choking someone. It's the polite thing to do. :)

I figure you get the alpha / beta thinking when people feel trapped.

Instead of masturbation try calling it self- pleasuring. Give yourself a set amount of time 3 times a day and just play with your genitals. Don't use pornography to do this. Use nothing but your hands, your imagination, and some lube. It might not feel too great at first but touching yourself lovingly might help.

Yeah, meds are not a cure. They are there to help you. They help in your healing or help you control it if the condition has become chronic.

I'm not going sugarcoat this. It'll probably be just one regret out of many. Most people's lives suck. It's hard to be happy with what you got if it feels like everybody's doing it and not you. It depends on how angry you are about it. You're probably going to have to learn to handle jealousy. You're going to hear stories about what other people say they've done. They could be true or they could be bullshit.

Yeah, make them pay with your words. Make sure that every time you get insulted they each get a shit taken at them. If you lose them as friends after that then they probably sucked anyway.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
