Bull. The mind is endlessly retrainable. The only limitation here is your belief that you cannot rise to that level.

If someone tolerates being treated like shit, it's because deep down they think they deserve it. They're desperate for any attention or affection they can get. And if it comes from someone who validates that awful opinion of themselves in the process, it just feels all the more real to them.

Just go out and enjoy yourself. Invite others to enjoy what you enjoy. Talk to them. Be yourself. Be a presence of joy, kindness, and positivity in the world. And when a woman looks like she's paying attention, pay attention to her as well. Compliment her, tease her, listen to her. Above all, though, RELAX. You're 21. You have so much time to get good at this and enjoy yourself, it's not even funny.

This. Asked a woman from my pool team out a couple months ago. She got out of an abusive LTR the year before and just wasn't ready for anything like dating or intimacy yet. Sometimes they're just talking to someone they trust and don't actually want your D.

Yeah dude. She'll probably think it's awesome. Which, it is. She gets to be your first and you get to keep fucking your first! Go for it.

Fuck it, is there a list of these false accusations that hit major media outlets? If not, someone needs to make one, just so you can point to it when the "False accusations don't happen" shit is tossed in our faces.

That is typically EXACTLY what assault is. Battery is the actual act of touching someone and harming them. Source.

Plus, I think the age of consent in the UK is lower than it is here in the US. 16, iirc.

Can confirm, strangled by a rogue vagina. Currently a zombie. Not sure if banging corpses at the graveyard is now rape or still necrophilia.

/b/ does care about identity otherwise they would not pretend to be one person. "We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us." Forgive me for asking what might be a dumb question, but what about that string of sentences makes it seem like they think they're all acting as one person? Yes, they obviously enjoy being part of Anonymous, but membership in this group carries with it a mandate of exclusivity on the participant concerning any expression of identity wh…

Not in any conversation, just in /b/. The name 'Anonymous' should give it away in those posts that the type of people we're talking about don't care about identity, any part of it. Ignoring this context to try and prove someone wrong when their argument is all about THAT context, and nothing else, is disingenuous. Strawman fallacy, if I'm not mistaken. Besides, generally speaking no arguments of any substance or importance take place on /b/ where the posters gender is going to matter. Someone tr…

If your point about the magnitude of the difference of the numbers of troll comments between the subs is true, you'd think it'd be easier for the feminist subs to differentiate between ACTUAL trolls and people just politely voicing a differing opinion. It's not like they don't have enough examples to go by.

Does no-one look at posting history anymore? Giraffe has dozens of posts going back over a year, on a fairly diverse collection of subreddits too. Sock puppets or people simply looking to troll a group don't usually start up and use accounts like that. Anyways, sorry to hear half of your family is such dick-bags, giraffe34. Hopefully, you and your dad will have a great time together from here on out. Welcome to the MRM.

Any group can be violent because people are involved. That said, I'm also curious what atheists he investigated that were violent enough to warrant such precautions.

I can't fathom this. Fifty times? FIFTY? If that kid were to suddenly double his age, he'd still be a minor for christ's sake. How in god's name did the judge decide 2 years was all that was warranted for FIFTY FUCKING COUNTS OF STATUTORY RAPE!?!

Maybe I'm missing something here but, how is this a mens rights issue? I'd assume lots of pop stars have people helping tweak/write their songs, improve their performances, or whatever is necessary in the music business. It doesn't make it a mens rights issue because one guy wrote this song and he's not getting all the glory. That's just life, the more glamorous person is the one people fawn over, be they male or female. As a result, the supporting staff tend to get glossed over a bit. Also, Lit…

That seems fairly obvious, even for a guy who hasn't played with toys in almost two decades. Is this actually something modern feminists are complaining about, toys that should only be used by one sex or the other?

Why not just say 'woman hating'? Odd way of putting it, makes it sound like MRAs are all about hating those that are anti-women. She didn't think this message through.

I'm curious, would a pre-nup agreement to completely sever financial ties, including alimony, in case both parties desire the divorce be something that would hold up in a court of law against this kind of crap? And would the same pre-nup allow for the creation of an shared account for funding the needs and interests of any children from the marriage?

Number of fights I, a male, have had in the past 20 or so years: 1, in grade 5. Number of fights a coworker has admitted to me she's had in the past 5 years where she hit her husband without good reason: at least 2. Now, is that representative of men and women as a whole? No, it's ad-hoc evidence, which is worth jack-shit when reaching an informed decision. Unless someone here posts links to proper studies, ignore the rhetoric.

Hopefully this won't go to the Supreme Court, since it would have a chance (however slim) of being decided in FAVOR of alimony, more or less sealing the deal against us in the future.
