| -3 | Oxford university introduces a "takeaway" exam to help women get more first-class degrees. Because any time that men outperform women it is a problem which must be fixed.I had read the article thank you quite carefully. Don't try to degrade someone else to prove your point, it's a sign of a weak argument. But to the point in hand, is it wrong that they are looking to improve the results? The average for female students is lower, and unless you believe that women are less intelligent that suggests that the exams themselves favour men. There is nothing wrong with altering the style of exam to neither party's detriment to see if the gap can be closed. | /r/MensRights | 12/06/17 12:12 AM |
| 0 | Oxford university introduces a "takeaway" exam to help women get more first-class degrees. Because any time that men outperform women it is a problem which must be fixed. It clearly states in the article that they are doing this to "fully understand any variations." And given that everyone gets to take the exam home I fail to see how this is an issue, it's not detrimental to men, it's research. This isn't a men's rights issue, it's not an issue of anything, it's just people wanting something to bitch about. | /r/MensRights | 11/06/17 04:55 PM |
