8	Circumcision: How It Makes Me Feel It is uncommon here. The only people that do it here are Muslims, Jews, Africans, Americans and Filipinos. It's so uncommon the NHS does not perform circumcisions unless there's a valid medical reason. Hell it's uncommon everywhere. More than 2/3s of men worldwide are not circumcised. 2	Why do men not care about male genital mutilation? That is only one form of it. FGM comes in various forms from things that are objectively less severe than male circumcision like a pin prick with a needle to things that are anatomically analogous and equivalent such as the removal of the clitoral hood to full infibulation which is more severe. 30	I hate that I am circumsised However, I've been told about the supposed health benefits of it being cleaner and whatnot. The interesting thing with that argument is when you consider the other side. Women naturally produce way more smegma than men do. If someone were to make the argument for removing the labias of girls at birth for cleanliness they'd become a pariah. As long as you wash semi regularly, it really isn't any different. The NHS has called for and was pursuing a ban on routine circumcision on the grounds of it being unethical to do on children but it was shot down on grounds of Islamophobia.
