"It's men that are victims too … and they need to be believed," she said. Why not believe and still be conscious about the fact that you don't know for sure that they are saying the truth? This is why a man is more likely to be the protector of a woman. That same woman would probably protect kids if they were in danger too. 1	Hero of La Belle Equipe: The Frenchman who died throwing himself in front of bullet to save a woman's life in the massacre. Why do almost everyone here assume that the man sacrifice himself only because he was a man and she was a woman? There's a good chance that it is the case, but we don't know for sure . I personally think that it was because someone strong saw someone weak in danger. If it was some kid at the place of the woman, the result would be the same. But what do I know... 1	Banned from r/feminism for debunking the 1/5 myth. It’s not even if he was right or wrong, it’s about free speech. Reddit should be a place where free speech is protected as long as we are able to keep a minimum of respect for the person we are talking/responding too. We can argue on what amount of respect is necessary or even if we really need it. No one is forcing anybody to read what is on the screen.
