Ah gotcha. I mean, to be fair to her, her pussy must have been on fire afterwards (willing or not). 100 guys in 24 hours is one guy every 15 minutes.

Can anybody offer more context? I’m kinda lost on this. Some random woman had sex with 100 dudes? Like, at the same time?

Being insulted because someone out of your circle is reaching out and looking for common ground is a bit red flag, my man. You don’t know her story, and having been burned by feminists in the past does not give you justification to judge them all as bad. Just something for you to ponder, imagine there’s two feminists: One is a white cis woman from Connecticut who grew up in an affluent family with all the advantages, and she’s mad that there aren’t more women CEOs, wants to be one herself, and e…

Yeah I was wondering the same, her response was more than reasonable.

This is interesting. I do not consider myself a feminist because in my circles, most of the self-declared feminists I’ve met fight not for the rights of the oppressed but for more privilege for themselves (I live in a very privileged community). As in, they don’t see the current system as wrong per say, they just hate to be on the wrong side of it. Turns my stomach. As per your points, I 100% agree with all of them, and I would gladly work with you in whatever capacity I can.

100% Growing up in a Catholic community, the notion of purity of thought was one of the most conservative things in the world to me. I’m still baffled at how that became a thing for “progressives”.

Even if that was the case, then what, she’s not allowed to change her mind now? One of, if not the biggest issues I have with feminism is how their demonisation of men is largely at fault of driving so many men (especially young ones) into the far-right rhetoric. We can’t pay them in kind! We need to be better than that.

Honestly, that’s a shitty response that makes you part of the problem. If someone changes their mind for the better, you want to penalise them for it? What do you think the effect of that would be at a large scale? No one would want to change their mind and improve! Be better than that, show some compassion.

Many men of all demographics voted for Trump. I’m disappointed, to say the least. But I’m more disappointed of how so many people on the left fail to learn from this. Never mind how directly hurtful it is to see the misandry from women calling men vile creatures for voting for Trump, the concerning part is that for the first time in history, young men are more conservative than their parents. To me, this has everything to do with the messaging from the left. Calling a whole gender vil plus all t…

They are both consenting adults, so no “predation” is happening. Legal doesn’t mean moral. He’s dating someone that could easily be her daughter. That’s a pretty gross thing to do. Perhaps this concept is more easily grasped by those of us with children of our own, but to me, he deserves to be criticised for this.

I really blame them. I was raised as catholic in a super catholic community. Unsurprisingly, I was anti-abortion early in my youth. That’s no longer been the case for a long time, I support free, safe abortions for everyone, no questions asked. How do you think I changed my mind? Asking questions. Engaging in discussions. Listening to others, etc. I know trolls exist. I know it’s difficult for the affected parties to continue justifying/defending their ideology (that some times boils down to def…

I’m banned too. There was a thread on hormone blockers for pre-pubescent trans people and I asked a question about the wisdom of such treatments, and I got insta-banned. I was asking in good faith too. Oh well.

I went to therapy for the first time in my mid 20s after a heart-breaking break up. I was in a new country, new job, missing friends and family and dealing with a terrible depression. Therapy was like first aid. It stopped the bleeding, but I wasn’t healing. My therapist was a very kind older woman who I think felt bad for me and saw me like a son, so she never pushed me. I was getting disillusioned by therapy and I forget how someone recommended a different therapist to me. I tried him, and hol…

Honestly, I’m a bit sadden by this post. It has that “the opposite sex are the enemy” vibe that so many feminists weaponise against men. Women are not the enemy, fellows. It’s a moral failing to “group them all together” like so many do to us men. We need to be better than this.

Preaching to the choir here. I don’t understand it, but I have learned that it’s a common thing. I know this woman (who I recently unfollowed) who constantly tweets about men being good for nothing, a constant source of disappointment, the source of all violence in the world etc, etc. In real life she’s kinda sweet, and I know that she’s looking for a boyfriend and has dated many jerks in the past. Perhaps her tweeting persona comes from that frustration? Not that it’s warranted at all, but one …

I absolutely see what you mean, but I’ll give you some advice that has helped me. Get off the internet every now and then. People change online. They become more tribalistic and mean. They vent off, and try to workout resentment and frustration through their interactions. Most people are much better in person. When they see who they are talking to is a living, breathing person with red blood and hopes and dreams, rather than a “demonised” version of who they represent based on their genitals, pr…

Oh, dude, this is straightforward as hell. Being sensitive takes balls! It takes courage/bravery because you know you are opening yourself up for attacks, and being able to take those gracefully (e.g. not losing your shit) also takes a lot of strength! This approach tracks well from many different perspectives if you think about it. Bravery, for instance, it's sometimes confused with fearlessness. "The brave hero that doesn't falter in the face of danger!". However, if you think about it, that m…

This is a difficult question as there’s no one answer, but many. I would say a common answer would be that introspection (looking for answers inward) is hard and painful, while deflection (putting blame on external factors) is easy and comfortable. That applies to all humans to some degree in different areas of life. Another component in this comes from your own question. You single out the “ugly, fat, jobless men” as those that can’t handle rejection. I’m not sure “those” men struggle with reje…

Thanks for the link, I'll check it as well as other things when I get a chance, as clearly I have a lot to get educated on in the topic. Your point about treating it as a medical condition vs a lifestyle choice is interesting from a policy perspective. Personally, I've never considered sexual orientation/identity to be a lifestyle choice. If I'm not mistaken, they are a consequence of genetics + environmental conditions, but in no case do any of us get a choice. We are who we are. The problem wi…

They are definitely making some good points, as are you. If you'll allow me to probe them further, there are two things with your answer I have reservations about. Firstly, same as with my previous comments, I'd be concerned about "transtrenders". I don't have any data on the percentage of people in the world estimated to be trans, but my own perception is |Cishet| >> |LGB+| >> |Trans|. Meaning, there's significantly more Cishet people than members of the LGBTQ+ community (minus trans), and even…

Thanks, I appreciate the opportunity to discuss my thoughts on the topic in good faith. To be honest, I wasn't then and I'm not now very informed on the matter, so my opinions are very "early impression". If I recall correctly, the article posted on the thread I mentioned stated that in the UK, it was now approved to give puberty blockers for pre-teens (don't remember the age) with "good faith parents", which implied the kids had been vetted by psychiatric consultation. My concern was around wha…

That sub in general is quite totalitarian. They have a set of beliefs, and they can’t be questioned at all. I can at least respect them being upfront about it I guess, but it is not a place for discussion.

I was banned from that sub for questioning the soundness of puberty inhibitor drugs, specifically since they are given to children.

Glad to introduce you to Dan, as I'm a big fan of his work. I'll be honest, I have not looked much into the accusations against him. As I state in my post, my interest in him lies in the type of company he's building and the jobs he is creating, as it has the potential the disrupt the abusive Corp-Worker relationships in many countries. Even if he was guilty, that doesn't take away the great jobs he created for people who really needed them. That's why his story is important to me in relation to…

For the most part, I agree with your assessment. Playing devil's advocate though, some people would argue the legal system is so ineffective that waiting for it to provide justice before making a judgement on someone's action is akin to allowing everything. Case in point: #metoo and #believewomen. The original point of their movement was to illustrate that sexual violence on women was so rampant that most women had at least one story of it, and that filing charges on the abusers was incredibly i…

This is pretty on point. I have discussed similar things with friends on how modern liberal values seem pretty conservative. For instance: It is a sin to question the gospel, there’s an original sin (being a white Cishet man), surprisingly anti sex, promotes witch hunts, etc.

I mostly agree with the things you are saying with some caveats. It is organized and deliberate rather than individual and reactive. I don't think it's necessarily organised, even if it looks like it. A mob that spouses the same outrage can act independently on it in a way so similar and synergetic that it looks organised. It can certainly be organised as well though, just not a requirement I think. Arguing that his work is not good in bad faith (e.g. because you think he is a wife beater and wa…

I honestly wish you find your match. Not being into the chase doesn’t mean giving up on finding a partner. There are women who don’t get off on being pursued, who are just looking for someone to share their life with. I guess the tricky part is looking where to find them, but in my experience, rarely will they be at night clubs or other pickup scenes like that.

Can't blame you. Here's a story for you: Long time ago, my friend and his gf set me up with her cousin. This wasn't a blind date, we were both provided info about the other beforehand (including pictures) and we both agreed to it. The 4 of us had a casual dinner at our mutual friend's house, had a few drinks, played some games, it was enjoyable. I asked her out and we went to a bar the next time. We had a few drinks and a few laughs, kissed her at the end of the night, it was all going well. Her…

Found the right girl under the right circumstances. We had met briefly before at uni but actually got to know each other when we both joined the same company one shortly after the other. We took employee orientation in the same batch of employees and had lunch together all week that week. Afterwards, she knew very few people and started joining me and my team for lunch almost daily, and became part of our lunch group. We were friends for almost a year before we started dating. I think the key pa…

I’m a reasonably good looking guy, and I hated the courtship too. I’m fortunately happily married today, but single life sucked. I hated having to put up a show as you say, I hated clubs, I hated the chase. I did have some success with women, but it was honestly in spite of my skills rather than due to them. The “chase” is bloody demeaning.

I'm inclined to think it's consensual, but I also kinda hate her. If you are going to risk someone's body, it should be your own. The whole gun incident in public... the guy is black, could she not see how that could have gone wrong?

Pretty sure this is staged, and there's second attempt by her. Still funny though. Edit. Just saw the rest of her videos. Some are definitely staged but that chick is still batshit crazy. In different videos she kicks him on the balls, tazes him on the ass, and then tries to rob him at gun(fake) point in public. All of those could have gone really bad.

I think is the retelling. Keep in mind when something disastrous like this happens, a thousand things go through your mind, simultaneously. You stumble through words, as yoy say many things at the same time. None of it makes sense. You embarrass yourself. You think about it over and over to trying to make sense of it all to the point where you can't really tell how it all exactly happened. And then you try to tell others and have to put it all together into one coherent narrative. Of course it's…

Alright good, you did your good deed of the day and told us it was fake. Why the outrage? Are you saying the video is "obviously" fake? How would we know? Point out what part of it looks fake. The guy sounds intimidating as fuck, obviously the "junkie bf" would rather not be knocked out. As far as the obnoxious woman in question, I've seen better do worse.
