It’s interesting that the red light flashes and alarm sounds when the power is turned off. So I guess there is always the possibility that they may have installed an emergency backup power supply and in fact many other safety measures, after all the technician had “never seen anything like this before.” It seems there is something about “containment” that requires constant high voltages so without it the ability to contain is lost, so they would have had a backup. And it’s nothing to do with receipts, which are entirely irrelevant as far as I am concerned, but rather it’s about the unholy row which ensued.
