Two things I really disliked regarding my last boyfriends behaviour: First, he would always strawman my political views, which was more than annoying and downright disrespectful. Instead of asking me about my opinions on certain topics, he would just assume things based on I don’t know what exactly and then make fun of them, because he thought that they were wrong/stupid. I don’t have problems dating a guy with a different political view (it‘s not like we were on different ends of the political …

You should look a bit more into that study (which is hardly a peer reviewed study, but if you insist it, i will use it). While yes, women rated the men more harshly, the men were the ones who just messaged the top women, while women were writing to a broader range of men. So all your breakdown is not really correct. That’s the problem with that study, a lot of guys just use the first part (80/20) to make other guys fearful and constantly suspicious so they lure them in and make them buy their pr…

So would you go after fat and ugly girls? (If you're into girls) A lot of guys I know don't want them, call them landwhales etc. So they also could have options, but not the options they want to have.

And you know it because you tested that? Or you are just guessing?

If you base your relationship around manipulation it is bound to hurt your SO. But even if it didn't hurt him I would call that out. Using such techniques is shitty for both genders. Not every women looks sexy even if she's dressing sexy. There may be some really charismatic ugly women who can pull that off, but most of them can not. Yeah, just look at some Reddit sites. There are more men than women like that. And that can be used as a reference. Doesn't mean it's a majority of men, but they do…

Nope, we are talking about normal dudes.

And very few women can do this.

Yes, sure it's nice to know that you are just the second choice, but even then not all will get a man. There are men haters out there and they are just as shitty as their male counterparts. Yet if you look at the internet, there seems to be more women hating man than vice versa. Lol, both genders have been manipulating each other and it is a problem. I never said that it's okay for women to do so. Right now, we are not talking about them, we are talking about guys who use manipulation tactics an…

Huh? There are not much more women like that. There are some of course and it's nice that you can attract those who are, but the way you talked about it seems like it's super easy to pull that off, because there are so many of them. Which is not. And you also seem to be quite young (you are 30?). And no, there is not conspiracy against older men. You should chill a little bit. You seem quite bitter.

No, it is hard. People here think that as a woman you just have so wiggle your hips and then all the men will come. That's bullshit. They do struggle and they often get frustrated. Like men. Most of them don't turn into man-hating garbage. Sure some do, but if you take a look at online sites, there are much more men flogging those and spewing hate about "evil" women than vice versa. I call both genders stupid that behave like that. If a women uses manipulation tactics to get something and in the…

It happens not all the time. It does happen, yeah, but the chances are so low that a women shouldn't bet on that. That would be quite delusional.

This conversation is about men in their 30s or 40s looking for younger women in their 20s. So no, it's not easier for them, because young people prefer partners in their age range (0-2) or slightly above (3-5).

Lol, yes, it's so easy and if a women can't get a guy her standards were too high or she was kinda dumb. And: to whom they are getting married? Do you think they all got the good looking guys? No, ugly guys are also getting married and the fat guys and the ugly fat guys.

There are also a lot of middle aged men who cannot form a relationship after a break up. It's just a fantasy that a normal man around 40 can pull of 20 year old women. Some can, because they are attractive and have stable lives, but that is not the norm. Men struggle with the same problems these women have.

Most women in their 20s are dating men in their 20s. Just because you managed to pull some in does not mean that most of the guys can do that. If you look at the statistics the age gap between married partners are around 2/3 years. Hell, for a lot of 21 years old people 30 years old people are grandpas/grandmas.

That is not reality. Sure, there are some romance films about the super suave rich guy who falls in love with the poor, but beautiful (they have to be really beautiful) lady and then he offers her a place she has never dreamed of... but that's just a fantasy. Rich guys tend to marry women with money and your typical gold digger gal is a middle class woman. Poor women don't have the option to marry rich guys... maybe you should go out and meet really poor people.

No. Just no First: sorry, but there are a lot of women having trouble going out and finding guys. Even if you go clubbing, most of the guys flock the attractive ones. You just think it's soooo easy to pick up guys, but it's not. Second: Since I also struggled dating men I can certainly sympathise with guys who can't date women. And it's okay to ask/have discussion what you can do better and how to attract them. There are tons of flirt books out there for men and women alike. And I don't think th…
