If men accepted everything of the identity of a traditional, subordinate housewife and daughter just without any title change I would say the same thing. I mean, NEET men who stay single because they believe women should do all of the work in courtship, refuse employment or education because they don't like putting effort into things, derive all of their enjoyment and meaning from playing the modern equivalent of parlour games (video games), and live with their mother until they're in their thir…

So surely being annoyed that your partner hasn't told you about something for many years is valid then? I feel we're talking past each other here.

As I said, its not just the thing that happened in the past that the person is angry about, its the decision to keep the fact it happened a secret. Especially past a point like marriage after which ending the relationship becomes more difficult. Everyone has different values and boundaries, so obviously a hoe phase might not be a subject matter everyone would have this reaction about. However I'm sure there are things that you would be angry to hear the man you married did in the past but kept s…

As long as you’re not so socially inept That is a very tall order for a generation of men raised by computers

The idea of working class people having "careers" at all only came about after the Industrial Revolution. Before that, the vast majority of people worked to live. They didn't have careers in the modern sense. It has been suggested that part of the reason feminism came about in the early 1900s was because the Industrial Revolution resulted in men no longer fulfilling their traditional role in society and the family: Rather than working on the farm or in the workshop, with their wife and kids work…

What careers did men pursue pre-Industrial Revolution?

The dating dynamics for women in their early twenties and men in their early twenties are very different. Thats just true. Part of growing up is accepting that life isn't fair. Taking out your frustration with society on your partner is really immature and there is no way to integrate that with a healthy relationship.

Then your issue is with who she is now, rather than her past, which is a completely different issue.

Whereas women have more of the mindset that she genuinely doesn’t care what you did or with who did it with, she’s only concerned with how you treat her. I think a lot of women would be pissed if they found out, after being married for a while, that their husband had a hoe phase in college, that he just never mentioned to her at all when conversations about previous experiences, his younger days, etc, came up. Its not so much about the fact that he did this back then, but the fact that he felt t…

I mean, if you were to rub a woman's shoulder, have her tell you to stop or pull away from you, and then you were to keep rubbing it, that may be viewed as harassment. Just rubbing her shoulder, while being receptive to her reaction and stopping and apologising if she tells you to stop or reacts negatively, is not going to be viewed as harrassment or assault. The worst it could be viewed as is a bit awkward.

I've had two women I knew pretty openly ask me if I wanted to hook up with them before. Both were when I and them were like 18 or 19 though. I've had one random woman in a bar approach me pretty obviously for a hook up. I've had two women I knew ask me on a date (one of whom was one of the girls from the first example lol). As for women just starting conversations with me on nights out? Maybe 15-20 times in my life.

dangerous surgeries, dangerous lifestyles, fad dieting, overeating, alternative medicine practices, polypharmacy, the rampant addictions, substance abuse, and alcoholism that is fashionable for young women I get the impression men often also feel like they aren't really allowed to have opinions on stuff like cosmetic surgery, "injectables", ozempic or fad diets because womens' bodily autonomy is paramount. IMO some women start to feel like most men want women to do these things to themselves bec…

You don't really overtly "make things sexual". Its mostly just about recognising underlying sexual tension and playing with it. Some people are really good at picking up on things like that, others aren't.

A lot of groupies have sex with celebrities purely as a means of getting access to high society.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
