Truth be told, it seemed to be relationship built on lust (more so on her end) it seemed you tried to make it more. Give it time, and grieve but know that you will be better off without her. Imagine getting married to her and feel empty and alone in a relationship like that. She would have likely removed her mask entirely after you two marry--God saved you from that fate.

Seems like I'm talking to my old friend again. He told me the same thing...strange pattern. Forgive me if this is TMI, but did you ever feel "satisfied" with her after fornicating, like feeling the love from that act?

I agree, yes. I am a logical and reasonable person, so she tried to appeal to my sense. I fought back (we argued for hours) until she gave up and I told her if x happens, y will happen, your choice. I will not force you" So what she did was get sneakier and wiser with her cheating, if that makes sense.

Yup, I even told my closest friends about it and planned to break up with her. However, my close friend, a girl (never have girl best-friends another naive mistake), talked me out of it. Big mistake.

No, at the time I didn't know she was cheating but I had put up with gaslighting and manipulation.

The gut feeling is the Holy Spirit's warning, always heed it. I learned the hard way---multiple times. Don't don't what I did bro.

Fully agree with this. Some guys on this sub tend to minimize how bad the women are in this generation and how good they're becoming at hiding their immorality, esp in the church. Now you know, and now you can grow. We're here for you friend.

I remember this similar situation happened to a best friend of mine 8 years ago. We both came to the conclusion that once he told her (now ex) to stop fornicating, that was the moment things started to change. She even told him that her "love" will change as a result. It was lust, never love that his ex had for him. I'd wager this was the case too, I'm sorry friend. If it helps, better this happens now then before marriage. There are *true* Christian girls who can respect you and are loyal..…

Really like this analogy, which difficulty would you say you’re in good sir?

Agreed. By the way, why so many bluepilled comments in this thread? I’m actually shocked

Why do you think the 8 hour work day is bad? Just curious

The answers here are very discouraging, save a few. I’m looking for a virgin as well and determined to stay single and continue to seek the Lord’s will while doing so. I don’t have any answers but to let you know you’re not alone friend :)

Thank for clearing that up, tired of seeing that spouted over and over

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
