There's always going to be people who are going to be like "don't ever do anything ever if it may make someone feel even the slightest bit uncomfortable." I say go for it assuming you do it in a respectful manner and won't crash out if you get rejected. If she's not interested, it will be a few seconds of slightly awkward conversation. Big whoop.

I don't care enough to watch the video or look into, but I wonder how someone would even clean a sex robot that he actively uses. Seems gross.

It is what it is. You can't force people to date people they aren't attracted to. Sometimes, there are just no solutions to real-life problems, even though in an ideal world, everyone would have that Disney-esque fairy tale ending.

Small outliers aside, everyone wants to be physically attracted to their romantic/sexual partner. It sucks if you were born on the short end of the stick from a conventional attractiveness PoV, but it is what it is.

Yeah, I get it. Life isn't fair and it sucks if you're on the short end of the stick in one area or another. Ultimately, no one is going to date someone they aren't attracted to. It is what it is. See what your options are with regards to plastic surgery.

Millennial here. A lot of 90s and 00s media did push the narrative of the geeky male protagonist with 'a heart of gold' ending up with the love interest. Plus, how many adults told the more nerdy kids something like "when you grow up, the ladies will be all over a nice, hard-working young man like yourself?" Probably many. Ultimately yes, it does come down to an individual to realize those were just Hollywood stories and white lies people told to make others feel better about themselves, but sti…

The vast majority of people want sex. There's only so much time in the day. Especially free time. People are generally going to choose to spend it on those who there may be potential sexual relations with in the future. So it's possible that they are genuinely nice. But due to time constraints are only focusing on potential "more-than-friends." There just isn't enough time out there to be friends with everyone.

You just have to go for it and ask women out who you find cute, even if it's not the most "socially-acceptable" place to do so. Maybe avoid work if you value your paycheck, but no reason you can't ask someone out at the library or supermarket. It's a numbers game, and unfortunately no one wears signs saying "please ask me out" or "leave me alone." You just have to take chances sometimes. If she isn't interested, she'll probably just give you an excuse. If she's really uptight, she might make a p…

I mean if a woman takes weeks to respond, have some dignity and just block her.

So what? It's not like you'll be arrested assuming you don't act abnormally strange and don't keep on pushing when she doesn't give positive signs back. What do you have to lose? A few seconds of awkwardness in real life? If she rejects, just say something like "understood, no worries, have a nice day" then hightail it on out of there. The women online who say "don't approach us in real life" have no vested interest in your sexual life, and it won't be any skin off their back if you never get la…

It's generally socially-unacceptable to say that you only went for someone because he/she was good-looking. You'll end up looking shallow. But saying something like "chemistry" or "spark" is socially-acceptable. And it's basically unable to be disproven by others.

To answer your base level question, it's that a lot of the people who complain about dating online are the people who aren't successful in dating. No one likes to lose in anything, and you'll often hear about it online. Just check out Glassdoor reviews from disgruntled employees, or sub-Reddits of sports teams that lose big games.

You technically can. It just looks odd being in a fancy, sit-down restaurant alone.

Someone to share life experiences with. In theory, you should both like one another so it should provide both parties some good company for one another. In the same boat, you should both be sexually-attracted to one another, so this should be an avenue for regular sex. Usually it's easier to make ends-meet if both people work. Have a partner-in-crime to do things that socially need two people to do (such as going to a sit in restaurant). Disclaimer: Technically this could also be applied to peop…

Real life isn't about equitable fairness, even if that's how it would be in an ideal world. There are people who work 80 hours a week for a low salary who can't ever afford a Lambo. There are lazy people born into trust funds who have multiple Lambos despite not lifting a finger each week. It's more about market demand and supply. On the dating market, women simply have more demand (and for the under 40 age group, less supply as in most Western countries there are more men than women), meaning t…

Guy here: Elementary School Teachers: Just personal experience, but every elementary school teacher or woman who was majoring in elementary education who I knew was dumb as a box-of-rocks. Nurses: More personal experience, but a lot of the "mean girls" usually went into this field for some reason. Anything that falls into the "sex worker" category: I mean good on you for doing what you need to do to put food on the table, but it's just not for me. Any 'job' that involves illegal activity: No wom…

Can't really do much about stuff out of your control unless the government makes it illegal, which is unrealistic for this particular problem. If you have any self-respect, just don't simp yourself.

If you think about it from an economics standpoint, it makes sense assuming you're in a Western country. If I recall correctly, the gender ratios in most Western nations for the 40 and younger crowd is usually about 51 male:49 female. 2% difference may not seem like much, but when you're talking millions of people, that's a lot more guys competing for women. So women simply have more "demand" from a supply-and-demand perspective, especially the conventionally-attractive women. In a sense, they'r…

Just calm down a bit and chill out. You're overthinking things big time. Yes, it's normal to find sexy people to be sexy. Some people may find it uncomfortable that they are thought about by others in that type of way, but as long as you're not making it a big deal in the public realm, it's all fine. It's just a part of life that if you're good looking, others are going to be sexually interested in you like it or not.

> Most men just want sex I mean yeah, most guys do want sex. Not many guys are asexual and people have to get over the fact that it's normal to want to engage in adult relations. But I think it's not accurate to say that guys only want sex. There's plenty of men out there who want the whole package that a romantic relationship brings. Which includes, but isn't limited to just sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 12:14 AM

They can go buy a prostitute, Maybe occasionally, but that's not a feasible plan for on-going sexual activity unless you want to end up broke.

I've never once worried about being raped, physically assaulted or otherwise harmed while living my every day life. Not having to experience the "gift" of giving birth. I'm glad to have experienced male friendships. It may just be my experience, but male friendships seem more genuine than female friendships, which seem much more catty and drama-filled. This doesn't apply to all men, but personally, I'm usually one of the tallest people in any given room, and it's pretty cool. Not fair, but there…

I'm constantly blown away by how having any form of mutual connection often results in a golden ticket to the front of the line. It's not really that surprising. If someone you trust gives you the thumbs up that this person is good, that's a pretty big fucking green flag assuming the minimum level of physical attraction is also present. If you're a random man at a bar/club/app/wherever, the woman doesn't really know who you are as a person. It's a bigger risk to take if you turn out to be a pysc…

Some guys just have a lot more opportunities to meet single women their own age. If you have an "in" with real life connections to women within your regular social circles, you have a big advantage. Which is what these "average" guys probably have. It's tougher when you have to try to connect with randoms, especially if you have to use online dating.

I think it's tough using blanket statements like this for both men and women. There's so many factors that can make peak beauty for people occur at so many different ages (from 18 to 40s and beyond). Some natural, some artificial, some based on motivation to stay in shape. I'm 32 years old and I'm more handsome than ever. Some reasons are natural. I developed very slowly and in my 20s, I looked very young. I finally started getting a "manly" look in my late 20s/early 30s. Also, I did some small …

Like the others said, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. Unless you're unbelievably good looking, you'll probably be rejected sometimes even if you ask someone out "the right way."

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
