Good advice for the man leaving redpill who is trying to distinguish good and toxic women. Really good insights.I think one of the bigger things that people tend to forget is that any discrimination towards men isn't always misandry. I have still (but am working on) a fear of men. It's called androphobia. I don't hate them, I just fear them because the ones I've been around have been incredibly dangerous men who have been routinely violent towards me. I feel bad for one of my exes because I wanted to love up on him so badly, but I just couldn't deal with the fear of him. It wasn't a healthy level of respe… | /r/ExRedPill | 21/11/22 05:17 PM
My therapist has helped me understand the issues that can come from Red Pill/PUA strategies and how it can be claimed to be sexual misconduct in some form. Hope this very informative write up helps some of those who may be struggling with the abundant "false accusations" propaganda. Hope it helps!I get you 100%. That's why I tried to answer as kindly as I could, but did want to be firm as well. Truth be told, even though what I knew was rape-ish from PUAs I knew, there was one that I never reported because I knew he was like you were, new to sex and all that. I too was raised very sex-negative because of religion, so I completely get that soul-killing "inexperience" that stands between you and having good sexual experiences. It sucks soooooo much. These insecurities women have as well, e… | /r/ExRedPill | 18/11/22 08:13 PM
Positive self-help?I should be looking for CBT rather than traditional/humanistic therapy, right? It depends on where your problems lie. If you have a history of trauma CBT-T might be better. If you're struggling with ongoing personality issues that seem stuck even when you try to change them, DBT and some others might help. If you're struggling with processing memories, are looping, and maybe sleep poorly because of it, EMDR can help. I'm 8 years into recovery and am mostly done, but after it was all done, I high… | /r/ExRedPill | 18/11/22 02:19 PM

Hope it helps!I'm very sorry that you experience those uncomfortable emotions. I bring it up because I never reported the PUA that raped me because he and his friends started stalking, harassing, and blackmailing me to stay quiet. They even smeared me to family and online friends with lies about my character. They used dangerous mind hacks that massively screwed up my mental health for years. I will never get justice. Ever. When I finally broke down after I almost ended my life from it all, they helped me und… | /r/ExRedPill | 18/11/22 08:23 AM |

When one of my friends did this to me, there wasn't much time before my brain registered the danger and I checked out. Went complete fawn/freeze. No control over my body and I was forced to let him finish. I couldn't even talk even if I wanted to. | /r/ExRedPill | 18/11/22 07:20 AM |
Positive self-help?This one in particular is good. It explains a lot about actual human behaviour but in a more balanced and fair way. He even talks about the pathology of the guys who end up hating women who don't give them a chance and helps them understand things too. It's really good. :) | /r/ExRedPill | 18/11/22 12:06 AM
DAE come on this thread to look at others and be happy they're not in that same position?Right but one person's trauma isn't less valid just because another has had it harder. Both are valid. Some just respond differently to it. But yes, professional help is better than weekly posts full of rage bait, asking questions and not having good faith discussions, and being wilfully dismissive of advice. | /r/ExRedPill | 17/11/22 04:12 PM
DAE come on this thread to look at others and be happy they're not in that same position? While I'm personally mostly over mine, I do come here to assist others find resources to help them move on from theirs. Abuse is one of those things that can just stick to you sometimes. More so if you're neurodivergent in some ways. Worse if you have things like OCD or ADHD on top of it because it makes trauma looping maddening. It can be incredibly frustrating to deal with those who are struggling with letting go over long periods of time, but it's pretty normal for abuse victims (especially i… | /r/ExRedPill | 17/11/22 03:54 PM
Stuff like this is reason why incels and red pillers are risingThere's also every chance that she had already shown that she wasn't interested but her signals/words weren't respected and so they resorted to nuclear tactics. Thiiiiiis! I literally had a RSD-style PUA pin me up against a wall and grabbed my face to move it over so I'd kiss him. When I gently pulled away, he put his arm up and moved his body closer. I was trapped between the wall and him and all I wanted to do was cry. I froze and literally couldn't talk (my therapist later helped teach me abo… | /r/ExRedPill | 17/11/22 11:34 AM
Positive self-help?I'm a woman and I really enjoy the methodology laid out for inexperienced men in Mark Manson's Models book. He teaches the why behind bad behaviours that come from men and their view of women and woman's autonomy and I feel like he gets it. He also explains realistically why women don't like certain things rather than putting targets on the backs of women who feel a particular way about things, like pickup artists. Good book! | /r/ExRedPill | 17/11/22 11:19 AM
Men have real world problems!!!People do understand it, but it's also important for us to "adapt and overcome" when things are outside our control. Learning the dichotomy of control really helped me here, but it does take time to internalize. It's hard, but just do what you can when you can. Depression makes things much harder, but little tasks can help us keep moving forward. 5'8" isn't that bad at all and you can't change it anyways, try if you can to let that go and stop beating yourself up over that. You didn't get to cho… | /r/ExRedPill | 15/11/22 01:32 AM
