Okay I'm going to approach this as a mature (well, mature-adjacent) Christian man who lurks here in this sub and comments occasionally. I've been married for 30 years so this comes from experience. It might not fit the red-pill model but hopefully things will make sense. 2 main points: 1) You set a boundary outside of the actual problem - that's pharisee-type legalism. That's what leads to all the stupid rules in churches - head coverings, no drums in church, don't go to bowling alleys, whatever…

You have lots of time to become a mature Christian man. I think you just got some steps out of order. Maybe this is your wake up call. Your wife (when you get there) doesn’t need you to be all the way mature but she will want to see you moving in the right direction. Do the hard work now, a long term joyful marriage is the result of putting in the work.

Dude, so many issues here. You were sleeping with her for 2 years but didn't put a ring on her. You have a porn issue. You "got religion" and quit sleeping with her but didn't get engaged and have a plan to return to regular sex. So from her perspective you rejected her without bringing her into a plan to get back to where she feels secure. A Christian response to this is to ask forgiveness for your sins from God, and ask forgiveness for your sins against your girlfriend. Then the red pill respo…

Beautiful work. My perception that echoes yours is that I'm building Sherlock's "Mind Castle" full of models that successfully explain the world. Every challenging conversation is a bulldozer running into the walls of my castle. Sometimes the bulldozer bounces off, and sometimes it goes right through the walls and messes up the foundations of a wing of my castle. Now the secret is to let the bulldozer do its best, because a properly built house will shrug off false attacks and a house built on s…

Sorry, I’ll try to be more clear. Unlike for men where there’s a near universal understanding of what a beautiful woman looks like, from talking with my wife and adult daughters the things a woman likes in a man’s physical appearance can vary widely. So being told you’re unattractive by one or two women doesn’t mean there isn’t a woman who’s into how you look. Then confidence and how you treat others can up your score by 2-3 points in any case. So don’t mope, fix what can be fixed and pursue you…

You win the buzzword award! Funny enough, I completely agree with you in your limited point. Let's be strong enough to keep frame in the midst of an unbelieving culture - and in the midst of a church that is often captured by our culture. Lifting (ie physical discipline) is an outward manifestation of strength of character - but it may not be appropriate for everyone and it can become an idol or a distraction. Lifting is a useful tool. RP is a useful tool. Becoming like Jesus is the goal.

The good news for us is that it’s a different 20% for every woman, so we all have a shot if we are confident and working on ourselves. You never know if your chin or forearms or calves are the thing that makes it work for a girl. My wife likes my thighs 🤔

Married 27 years to a unicorn then. If you match this article we can talk about my daughters. They do exist, they are despairing of finding men who love Jesus first.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
