We owe women protection. We owe them provision. It is our responsibility to guard them as they create our children . Not a new concept, a highly successful model. We owe them for stitching us up, so that we can get back in the fight, feeding us so that we can fight. We owe them for their support, that sometimes has them over us, protecting us, with a shotgun when we fall. They owe us too. That’s how reciprocal relationships work. That is how families are built and sustained. I owe a debt that ca…

It’s not that men don’t owe women. This is still largely and fundamentally unchanged. Women need to remember that they owe men something, a notion that feminism has successfully destroyed en masse. That and that men and women together owe society broadly. If we are talking about owing debts. I say that men haven’t forgotten, broadly speaking, because the lights are still on. The functions that men bring to the table still operate, and are in no threat of stopping. Trucks still run, plumbing stil…

Keep your cool. Theres a helluva ride coming your way, and the cards are stacked against you. Dont worry about the courts. A lawyer is good, but unless your wife has a needle in her arm, overdosing in the courtroom.. ya. You’ll get at best (normal) every other weekend, and some holidays. Fine. Then let the dust settle. It’s not fair, but getting pissed hurts you. Think about the long game. Your kids are remarkably perceptive and curious. They see everything. They hear everything. They forget not…

Just laugh. Not much more to it than that.

Wrong. Men do win. It’s what we do. Your point is correct that men cannot make sense of a feminist. That is true. So what? Youll be spitting swimmers until you die, hopefully in the late 90s. Women that take this line of thinking become lonely and of no value to anyone by 40. Not all women, mind you. Women with this attitude. Your responses are as correct as could be, there is no winning with these miserable women. There is no satisfaction, equality is not the goal. Let them wither on the vine. …

I’m curious too. Involuntary Celibate, had to look it up. Dudes that don’t get laid. Okay, not a new movement here. So what is the counterpart? Modern feminists? Sort of tongue in cheek, but mostly serious. I’m late to the party I guess, but are they not the same thing? And if so, can’t we just organize a barn dance, toss in some booze, and all the people with people skill issues can figure their shit out?

I understand those frustrations as well. Been there done that myself, got the t-shirt. If we are to ever have hope that men should and will be loved and respected for what we bring to the table, it won’t be through warfare of women broadly. Not only does that make the problem worse, but comes with the added sting of having played right into the hands of the psychos that intentionally drive wedges between us all, at every direction. When men conclude like this.. it’s game, set, and match.

That is a very unfortunate point of view that will most likely leave you as old, bitter, and lonely as the read haired screaming freak militant feminist that shows up in videos from time to time. Wow, brother. Just wow.

Men and women have fundamentally different motivations. Cursed, if you will, to need each other and still never fully understand each other. We do have a common goal of protecting and raising children. The burden I accept for my part is physical and financial. The burden my wife takes is emotional (in tolerating me for one), and in making the home suitable not only for children but also for me. I don’t see that as insubstantial, I’m very grateful actually. She makes the cogs in the machine move …

Women have always been a burden on men. What’s new? Men have always been a burden on women. Children are a burden on both. So what?

The no part is that at least in my children’s cases, those efforts neither worked nor hurt them. They backfired outrightly. I suspect that mine aren’t unique, and many others have rejected those efforts. I’d love to see some research data on it.

Yes and no. My first wife is an Evergreen OG Progressive. She tried this with my kids, in protest while we’re still married. It of course continued after I was spit out. It didn’t work. Nature is stronger than people. Interacting with nature is humbling, for those that interact with it. These idiotic ideas of bucking nature only make sense to those that do not have to contend with it directly. It does hurt them, or at least does not prepare them. They are at a loss. I. Personally miffed at the i…

People do. We just get stifled in the broad avenues of discussion. Not a woman in my life, wife, friends, even ex-wife, has any respect for these women and their actions. I have issues still with the ex, and even she does the “Damn, that’s fucked up”. Why don’t they? Good question. They have really. JK Rowling did. A few other feminist battle axes did, forget their names offhand. They got bowled over, made an example of. That’s why.

Ya well. The internet has the brutal reality of a three year old. It encourages us to act in kind. Not awesome. I also long for a tall strong woman, and I’m not wheeling. I got a short strong woman. 6’2 would have been great. Five foot nothing works. Yes of course people went full shitty. Of course they mocked your spot. Most have never faced adversity, so it’s an easy pick. The best women want one thing. A dedicated partner. One that won’t quit. I may be dumb as fuck, but I have noticed that. I…

They may well be soyboys, many of them are effeminate drama queens. I have no issue with effeminate men, nor drama queen men (trust me, the toughest of men are often drama queens) My issue is that these men, if I’d be so bold as to call them men, are frauds. Cuttlefish, and cuttlefish have no backbones. They also mate through deception. I really don’t like to call them men, regardless of having a fully developed male body. I’ll go back to soyboys. I do understand them. They do not deserve respec…

This isnt a bad thing at all. They’re still going to leave wound up and rowdy. Ever been at a split bar with a male review? Sure for a few hours they hoot and holler, talk some shit. Good for them. Stress relief. They’re going you roll out of that hungry for Johnson like Waffle House at 3a.m. Be the Waffle House.

Woof. Tough spot. There’s a lot of great and to the point advice in here. Some I wouldn’t agree with. First and foremost, secure a lawyer, as best you can. Even without knowing any personal or situational details, it is a guarantee that you are staring a tsunami in the face. The advice to stop drinking, secure or maintain a stable job, and avoid at all costs violence or losing your shit in any way, cannot be overstated. One drunk text is all it will take to set you back immeasurably. Record and …

Well you are 15. So there’s that. You have time. You are not wrong to be hesitant. Not wrong at all. I didn’t marry until my mid thirties. That marriage was a disaster that still has negative repercussions twenty years later. My years before marrying and the time between marriages was pretty dang fun. One of my favorite quotes (it engraved inside my wedding band) come from an old school actress named Zsa-zsa Gabor. “A man is not complete until he is married, and then he is finished”. So true. We…

The best recommendations have already been made. Secure legal advice, and build your defense accordingly. Trust in your family and friends, they will have your back if you are indeed not a shitbag. If you’re a decent or better guy, they’ll more than have your back. Beyond that, I’d recommend a counter attack. Play her game. Under legal advisement, of course, but throw that shit right back at her so that the next fella she wants to trap up and manipulate can very easily see the documentation, t…

I have talked to one man, and a good man, that supported this move.. of course it was an emotional reactionary point of view. One that men could at least nod their head at. Defending their woman. All but one recognized this move as a bad hill to die on. For a multitude of reasons that are obvious to anyone that is not driven by emotional impulse. This action, by this person, will have very bad shockwaves. Amplified by the institution that let him get away with it. Gave him an award, FFS. Comedy …
