Agree totally, with two additions: Colours. God forbid a man wear any colour. You like pink, lilac, any pastel colours? Prepare for the homophobic comments. Material. I live in the UK and I would strongly disagree based on my experience. I have ADHD, so i tend to keep an ear out for these things, though my attention issues really affect reading longer stuff so most of where I'm getting those other perspectives from are reddit, youtube and UK TV. I guess your mileage might vary in the US or elsewhere, but from what I'm seeing, women's diagnoses are only just catching up.

This is always my argument against 'everyone should be a feminist' or with my friends who say I'm basically an intersectional feminist according to my beliefs (I usually call myself an egalitarian); reasonable feminist men's opinions are still treated as worthless so they can't push back against the fringes from within, and reasonable female feminists don't seem all that interested in pushing back against misandry.

Yeah this is the problem. Feminism has promoted the conflation of objectification and sexualisation. Objectification is objectively bad in most cases like you say, but sexualisation is natural and only really bad in professional environments. I don't know if there's anything in the communist manifesto specifically about it, but those are things that are engendered by a capitalist society, so would likely not be all that common in the first place. There also might not be hierarchical positions in society to abuse. Of course there will always be sociopaths who will want to do that stuff because they don't care about other people's misfortune, but there would still be punishments for fraud and corruption.

Nah everyone left of centre uses that term if they know it, and I'm not downplaying it, I'm being realistic about it. It is an issue, and the way the majority of Muslims treat women generally is disgusting, but that particular phenomenon is extremely rare. Class is the main fulcrum for politics, anyone who doesn't see that is missing the point.
