It doesn't even make sense if they're not both adults.

UN study, just for context. (the same group saying "women are the primary victims of war", again, for context)

"Women are more unhappy than ever, this is a good thing" is not a take i was expecting. Isn't being more happy the whole point? This article is literally anti-womens happiness. It's like a propaganda piece from some regime trying to convince it's people that it's a good thing they're starving. But their expectation for food went up so it's all good 😇

I'm not sure what you're on about but openAI is insanely transparent about all the things they do. They have profiles of some of their employees on their website and most of them have an open LinkedIn. They publish their research on their website also. It literally doesn't get more transparent than that.

For what it's worth, I think you're right. Relying on anyone apart from yourself financially seems like a catastrophy in the making. And kids couldn't care less about going to school in a Gucci bag (exaggerated, i know) You're happy, kids happy, what else could one possibly need

One of those wins would be for men though so that's simply not possible.

The trans community is less empathetic towards ftm compared to mtf from what I've heard from one of my trans friends. The more you pass as a man the less your problems will be taken seriously. Generally true for men but apparently also true for ftm in the trans community specifically. The LGBT subs on Reddit are quite nice in general though, albeit with an anti cis male bias from what I've observed in r/LGBT but that's a given to a certain degree these days. Maybe check those out if you haven't …

To add to everyone else: Straight women tend to want to feel inferior (in the literal sense, without connotations) in some way, shape or form compared to their partner. Ask any woman if they want to feel small or big next to their partner and chances are the answer is going to be the former. I'd reckon it's similar to that dynamic. On a different note. People can have their preferences. They shouldn't complain if they don't get what they want though, that's on them.

Ok but if you go to the annual gold diggers meeting and tell them that exploiting men for their money is bad you can't be surprised when they react negatively. Half the time when women talk about their partners they'll openly talk about "just using them" and I can assure you that where I am right now is the furthest from a social bubble I could possibly be.

Mario Bertulli shoes are my favorites. But you could get shoe inlays for height for cheap

Also: wear plateau shoes and a suit. The amount of respect you'll receive is mind blowing. Did a little experiment once where I walked through narrow train compartments with and without a suit and plateaus. Almost no one made room for me before. Almost everyone did after.

I mean there's the so called "Shit Tests" where a woman generally tries to aggravate the man and judges the reaction to vet him. I'd imagine there's more of those types of "men prove themselves and women judge their compatibility" types of rituals. Kind of like that in most species. Men do a weird little dance and women decide based on that. You don't do the dance you're out. I'd guess it's so exaggerated in humans because females and subsequent children need protection and generosity from males…

Japan is nice. Men aren't shamed for their sexuality here for one. SA punishment is very lax, so even a false accusation won't be too harmful. If feminine women are what you want theres lots of that aswell. Pretty bad for women who actually get SAed, but at least men aren't oppressed.

Most guys pay for sex. They pay for dates, drinks at the club, they pay the bills, they pay for the gym on top of working out there, they buy gifts, etc. More often than not for the purpose of getting laid. Unless you're Henry Cavill level handsome or find that one in a million women you'll have to do the same. I say go for it and see if you enjoy it. Being with a women isn't all that great you know. You have to constantly perform, buy her stuff, entertain her, and you get barely anything in ret…

Looking at the "creepy" behavior women point out on a lot of subs and even irl has often reminded me of an autistic friend of mine. That shaming behavior is something I don't think I've ever seen exhibited by an adult man. I feel like it's very much a gendered issue.

It's such a sad thing to see. She's going to lead a life of misery and loneliness and maybe it's what she wants, who knows, but influencing others in sich a toxic way should be criminal. I like to view life as an equation of happiness and doing stuff to maximize overall happiness and that sh*t is the exact opposite. I wonder if the comfort of the victim role has overtaken the desire fir happiness at this point.

The first one is wild. I always thought people we're exaggerating when they say women only look at the top .1 percent of men to justify their claims, which always struck me as insane because surely they have to know that the other 99.9% exist. But they just don't care at all it seems. They just want to be a multimillionaire on a yacht and are willing to sacrifice any and every male individual for that goal. "Men are underrepresented in most academic fields" "Yeah but did you know that 2/3 of the…

This dude is doing nothing but putting women's fears into perspective and you've decided to put words in his mouth and then got offended by them. I agree with the sentiment though. Just because it's unlikely doesn't mean you can afford to not be careful. Same argument a lot of guys on here make when it comes to false accusations and such.

Might’ve been done first and foremost for lesbians. Apparently they have higher average levels of domestic violence than gay male or hetero relationships. Still positive though Edit: here’s a source: https://ncadv.org/blog/posts/domestic-violence-and-the-lgbtq-community Jesus Christ that’s insane

It makes sense though. Most women have like 100 men to choose from even while being picky. What are the chances you’re the most attractive one, right? Doesn’t really matter if she’s attractive or good with make up either because of filters. The only women that don’t have an abundance of men (though still quite a few to choose from) are significantly overweight in my experience. I know one woman who broke the 1000 matches mark recently as well. It’s just a numbers game at some point for some. Don…

Kind of went through the same thing. My brother was very manipulative to the point where I had to question my own sanity because no one believed anything I said ever, although the missing teeth (luckily my first teeth) and skull surgery (sadly not regrowable) tell a different story. I keep as little contact as possible with most parts of my family and life has been better for a while now. It tends to get better the further away I am from them. Point being don’t let yourself be manipulated into b…

Thanks Edit: ok after insulting my brain with this needlessly sensationalistic piece of garbage it doesn’t really say that repressed memories aren’t a thing. He just says the human mind is malleable and a situation almost certainly didn’t happen exactly as one remembers it and trying to find possible hidden memories forcefully (by being suggestive essentially, although he doesn’t say that specifically but it is implied in all of the examples he gives) is most certainly going to have a negative e…

Sounds like she felt pressured and doesn’t know what to do now. Talk with her about it and how you felt in that moment. There’s nothing wrong with not reading her mood correctly unless she’s specific about it. Also make her aware that her friend is defaming you. Just my 2ct, can’t really know much from the given info

I never thought “treat him like a dog you love” would be a sentence that made sense for treating your partner but damn… it’s quite accurate. Also sad that loved men are treated worse than loved dogs.

Don’t be surprised if your grades suddenly drop. I did that mistake more than I can count and it backfired with every teacher except for one. I think I might’ve spontaneously exploded if I didn’t but if you can avoid it, you really should. Your final grade will be an important factor when you start applying for jobs or unis.

It’s honestly kind of weird how a lot of people just go “well it didn’t affect me in any meaningful way, so it doesn’t matter”. Aside from the obvious narcissism in that sentiment, why NOT be against it then? “Oh my parents had my balls stitched to my taint so they wouldn’t hang so low later on in life” - Serves no purpose - denies an individuals bodily autonomy If it doesn’t matter then these two reasons should really already be enough for anyone, even the narcissists, to oppose it. But not onl…

Maybe she’s trying to protect her reputation, as men tend to be more honest when giving negative feedback in general. I’ve certainly seen my fair share of Airbnb Hosts who just straight up lie about the accommodation so maybe that’s what she’s doing as well. No one should consider staying in one of those apartments either way though, as your own reputation on Airbnb is also on the line and banning all men is quite the overreaction. Would love to see some stats on the correlation of reputation vs…

So self-proclaimed feminists on the internet really said it’s more important to not have one man in a job than all women having access to period products. …what?

Since the inception of Computer Science women have played a major role and are well respected. The father of computing was a gay man. In my Uni at least there are roughly 50% women in comp sci. Unless she’s planning on talking about IT as a shining example of equality and diversity there are really no talking points for her

Wild, from my experience the Japanese people who speak English are far and few between. It’s been some 4 1/2 years since I’ve last been there though (because of Corona mostly).

It’s because women are underrepresented in medical studies, mostly because Phase I and Phase II trials or even the entire trial excludes women, as they are deemed less disposable, as mentioned here: https://www.nature.com/articles/550S18a The main problem it states is that our biological differences make a difference in how we handle drugs and thus they are optimised for men and can have adverse side effects in women that the studies didn’t show because of a lack of testing in women. Protecting …

It’s about the sound, right? The way you phrased the question it is very much a yes. But I’d assume it’s about male sounding singers, which is absolutely fine. I prefer female sounding voices myself. I thought pierce the veil had a female lead for the longest time for example and I still listen to them in the same way (obviously I guess?) At this point we’re talking about preference in music which isn’t something one can argue about anyway since it’s all subjective
