I don't think they're mutually exclusive. Know what you want, but at the same time, throw away expectations. Cause, as they say, you don't always get what you want. Cheers.

For me, I'm sure about what I want most of the time, but sometimes I don't know what to do if or when I get it because I may not know why I wanted it in the first place. Then I focus too much on the what do I do now mentality. Be consistent, know what you want and why.

And there's 4 of you, that is logistically awesome! I hope you get a chance to isolate and close, as well! Man, I feel like a cheerleader.

I love the style of this report. Keep it up! The nipple pinching bit got to me. I've had girls in the past pinch me, never had a balls to pinch back. I won't hold back now.

Dude, don't let it bother you! Yeah, there's a dude in her picture that LOOKS like her boyfriend. I assume the same shit whenever a group of two or more mixed group comes in my store (which I need to stop!). Then the girl starts flirting with me which throws me off guard. The point is, it doesn't matter if you're asking her out! The way it seems to me, she's sending you vibes. You're curious and find her interesting, so you're asking her out so you can learn, from her, what kind of person she is…

Maybe visit some company headquarters, stores or whatever and use your PUA skills there? Pick up chicks, network and possibly nab a job all at the same time!

Even if it doesn't go according to plan, improvise.

I've been practicing my smile lately. It's all in the eyes. In the past I always felt it was fake. A couple days ago, I shaved and cut my hair, saw my reflection from afar and thought, "Hey, I look pretty damn good," and smiled. And I noticed it looked more genuine, the difference being in the eyes. I'm glad I read that book on body language or I might've looked past that.

The RSD group. I've watched the first 2 discs and they're manned by Tyler Durden so far.

if she doesnt respond well to it, its not that i did something wrong or went too far. it just wasnt for her and in that case it doesn't really interupt the flow of our conversations or the rapport we have, we just move on. Thank you. I seem to get caught up in what I say or how they'll react to what I say that I forget that as long as we're enjoying ourselves, it's all good and move on.

Just.. good luck. Make sure you're having fun, and to include that fun with her.

Sorry, you had to experience such a butthurt bitch. I'm quite the beta and haven't internalized a lot of the stuff I've learned yet, I know I would have done the walk of shame, as well. As long as you follow the "DiCarlo Escalation Ladder," you ought to be fine.

I've been meaning to ask a girl out, sort of randomly. I didn't really think about how I'd say it, so this was helpful, thanks!

I'm not sure if this actually relates but I always found it an interesting resource. Art of Manliness. I ran into it prior to my intro to seddit, though I'm still a AFC and yet to implement these ideas to my life. I'm pretty sure they compliment each other pretty well in terms of building confidence and setting goals for oneself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
