| 1 | Can't liftI've never been to crossfit before. I've heard bad things about it, but if the other gym doesn't work I'll drop them a line. | /r/askMRP | 24/05/17 02:46 PM |
| 1 | Can't liftBeen doing it. I grew up in the suburbs with a car and I'm just doing my best to figure out how to get used to city life in Japan. My absolute favorite exercise is dicking around on Nayoya gymnastic rings. I even brought some with me. But there are no trees here in the middle of the city! I'm sure it's easier than I'm making it out to be, but it's all new to me and I'm still adjusting. | /r/askMRP | 24/05/17 09:17 AM |
| 1 | Can't liftThought about it for a lot of the culture shock I've been facing, but I've come to the conclusion that there are just better businesses for me to work on. Rather than trying to jump into a Japanese business and market western stuff to Japanese, it would be much more natural for me to instead try to bring the best of Japan back to America. I know how to navigate those waters well. | /r/askMRP | 24/05/17 09:15 AM |
| 1 | Can't liftI will. Thanks a lot. | /r/askMRP | 24/05/17 09:13 AM |
| – | Can't liftYea. I took a tour and the barbells are bent and the weightlifting equipment is not well maintained. At the end of the day, I had a difficult time justifying the cost for something so substandard, and I went with water bottles at home instead. Only recently have I come to the conclusion that it's not working, and before I start paying $1500 a year I'd rather ask around for better options. | /r/askMRP | 24/05/17 09:12 AM |
| 1 | Can't liftThey are women's gyms. I think it's less because the Japanese are weak and more because the Japanese are too busy working. They've got a lot of societal issues lately and physical fitness is probably the least of their worries. Aside from that, the Japanese that choose to stay fit tend to look for more practical training. There's a Muay Thai gym outside my house that is never crowded but always in use. There's a local rock climbing gym in the city center. Walking and cycling is a primary method … | /r/askMRP | 24/05/17 09:08 AM |
| – | Can't liftFor good measure, here is the closest gym to my house. It's a fairly nice gym, but it still didn't even have a squat rack, and it cost $120 / mo. https://www.google.co.jp/maps/@43.065696,141.3470807,3a,75y,90t/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1shttp:%2F%2Finformation.konamisportsclub.jp%2Ffile%2Ftenpo%2F004416%2Flightbox0301.jpg!2e7!3e27!6s%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2Fproxy%2FafBDF6e030ARaa5--R1g5GZwm6p3NrwtdxBDFCZd6mwaGVf1RrNpTv2pPDnChqa-SavbgZCTliFM7GIA5DIuxAEth4JfhBX3RtZb36gwzUz-IzXqRV9IrSPt808NpTHqS1A… | /r/askMRP | 23/05/17 01:22 PM |
| – | Can't liftI thought about doing that but it felt like sort of a waste as I'm only going to be here short term, which is how I landed on the backpack of water bottles. | /r/askMRP | 23/05/17 01:19 PM |
| – | Can't liftThere are a lot of treadmills. They'll have light dumbells, sometimes a bench, sometimes a smith machine. I was going to show you an example, and I found that a brand new gym opened up near by and its the first one I've seen with a proper squat rack. Going to check it out tomorrow. | /r/askMRP | 23/05/17 01:18 PM |
| – | Can't liftI forgot about the door chinup bars. I used to have one in college. I dunno if they'll work with the construction here, but I'm gunna look into it. Great idea, thanks. | /r/askMRP | 23/05/17 01:02 PM |

| – | Expectations During PregnancyAnswer me this: exactly how is "treat her as if she has the stomach flu" supposed to help you with your situation? Is that actionable advice I've had roommates with the stomach flu before. I remember exactly how I treated them and I can treat my wife the same way. It's actionable without being specific. I think that's fair. Her advice amounts to nothing more than pablum. I went and reread it and I see what you're saying. I read her post as saying. | 1 | Expectations During PregnancySo why are you asking for advice from meme kids? I'm not. Top comment is super good, actual MRP advice. BTW, this is supportive, go the /r/TheRedPill and they will tell you to next the bitch. We support you having your testicles descend, if we think you are being a bitch, we will tell you so. Bro, I'm all for calling out someone who is being blue pill. But you guys, specifically only you and /u/470_2_700_nm, are making shit up, and then telling me that that shit is beta. | 1 | Expectations During PregnancyIf you are walking almost everwhere minimum 2k daily, how is she spending all day in bed? We live in Japan. When she was not laying in bed all day, we were walking almost everywhere, a minimum of 2 km daily. Now I do it alone. This was in response to: Get both of your asses off the fucking couches and go for at least a god damn walk. | /r/askMRP | 17/02/17 04:30 AM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyMaybe have the same expectations (at least first trimester) that you'd have for someone with stomach flu. I'm trying to understand what level of sensitivity I should have towards my pregnant wife, so that I can not be so harsh that it jeopardizes her health and not be so soft that I lose respect. Why in the hell would I not ask a woman, "how does it feel to be pregnant?" And how is "treat her as if she has the stomach flu" not reasonable advice? | /r/askMRP | 17/02/17 04:29 AM |
| – | Expectations During Pregnancy/r/AskMRP was created for the following reasons: To provide a supportive and less confrontational forum than the no holds barred locker room atmosphere on /r/marriedredpill. If...you can't sack up... This is literally the 4th or 5th time one of you meme kids told me to grow balls by telling my pregnant, sick wife to go make me a sandwich. | /r/askMRP | 17/02/17 04:22 AM |

If you don’t understand something in the pre-requisite books, not sure if you even want to take the Red Pill, or if you can’t figure out the difference between a Shit Test and a Comfort Test (and you still haven’t figured out how to use the search function) hit us up and we will try to set you on the right path. | – | Expectations During PregnancyBehavior accepted now is behavior that will stick later. I can't disagree with your statement any more. That was my thought too. Unless it's like, "I'd rather you rest than cook because I can go get or make some food myself" where the expectation is explicitly suspended because she's pregnant. I don't know if that's a good call--this thread tells me maybe its not, not during the whole pregnancy--but if it is, that's the way to do it, I think. To the OP: You think it's bad enforcing boundaries no… | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 07:58 PM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyGood shit. You're right, I'm flying blind. Everything has been straightforward, I thought, and didn't need research. She's 7 weeks and nauseous. And tired. And depressed. And suddenly, even though we used to exercise all the time, she doesn't want to walk. Probably because she nauseous and tired and depressed like most pregnant women are. I'll do more research on this. I didn't know there was a link between miscarriage in particular and depression during pregnancy. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 07:55 PM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyI live in Japan, we don't have a car. We walk almost everywhere, a minimum of 2 km a day. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 02:57 PM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyThanks dude, excellent advice. I appreciate it. I'll do my best. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 02:55 PM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyA lot of the Gronks on here are saying "DUDE YOU'RE A BITCH AND YOUR WIFE IS GETTING FAT, YOU SHOULD BE LIKE ME!" But actually, my wife is losing a lot of weight, she's right on the border of too skinny for the babies health, and that, too, is part of what is effecting her energy levels, I think. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 02:53 PM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyYea but I don't really know. I'm new to this. That's why I'm asking questions. I don't want to wait until we've had 6 miscarriages to say, "should I have done something differently?" I want to ask and get an idea of what's reasonable. I like the other commentor who suggested I treat it like a stomach flu. That's helpful shit. Grow a pair or continue being a bitch...? | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 02:51 PM |

| – | Expectations During PregnancyYea, I've got a plan. She's not too excited about some parts of the plan. I do consider her feelings but at the end of the day it's not what she wants, it's what's best for the family that will happen. I'm super turned off. She's not sexy or fun, but depressing to be around. My best efforts at ignore yield little results. Additionally, I feel tested. As I mentioned in another comment, I'm afraid I'm giving her a free pass for pregnancy, and she's running tests. As much as I want to swat that dow… | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 11:15 AM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyMore than her feelings, she's my little baby incubator. We lost one already, I want to be extra careful this time. I'm with you, I don't want to give her a free pass just because she's pregnant. Thus this post. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 11:10 AM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyForget her feelings, that's my child. I protect my family. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 11:08 AM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyPart of leading is casting vision for other people. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for people I look up to setting a good example and demanding the best of me. That's what I do for my family. 10-4. Doing both. I usually get her up and exercising anyway--walks, etc.--but since she got pregnant she started saying no. I know part of the reason is depression. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 11:08 AM |
| 1 | Expectations During PregnancyThanks. That's been my plan. There's always room for improvement but I'll keep doing my best. Appreciate the insight. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 07:49 AM |
| – | Expectations During PregnancyThanks. I believe part of her problem is that she's depressed from laying in bed all day. I can't fix her but I don't want to enable her either. I want to set reasonable expectations that will encourage to get herself out of this depression. This is a super helpful guideline for me. Appreciate it. | /r/askMRP | 14/02/17 07:46 AM |

| 1 | #FragileMasculinity - For When Marketing Campaigns Targeted at Men Becomes a Sign of the PatriarchyI actually think this is communicating a red pill truth whether they were trying to or not. If you're afraid to buy body soap with moisturizers on the label so you need to buy the same soap in a different bottle at twice the price, you have bigger problems than girls teasing you on the Internet. | /r/TheRedPill | 25/09/15 03:18 PM |
