Zero innocence! Always portraing men like monsters.

That must have been not easy. And, you prove my point: we carry this trauma for lifetime, and specially from the past, it goes unreported. Sexually harassed by both men and women, has been something I have vivid memories about. Tough luck! I just had to learn to live with it.

I think media is partly to blame for this. They give people what they want to hear. And what do people want to hear? What the government tells the media they should be showing. Statistics also work in favor of women, and that in part is mostly our fault. We need more solidarity among us. If a women touches us inappropriately (b/c of age consent, b/c of harassment at work, or at school) the other guys see this as fantastic, when down the line, you will carry that burden for the rest of your life'…

I wish this was a joke! I never celebrated Fathers Day with my dad, because of my mom's drama. Now, I regret it! He wasn't the greatest dad in the world, but sure did a lot for all of us. I was blind. We have to stop this man haters for messing up yet another holiday.

Yes, and scared to death of the financial burden. If we negotiate and settle, do you think I still have to pay Spousal Support?

Most probably we will negotiate to settle. Do we still need a judge to divorce? Thank you!

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I live in California. I was away for overwhelming work. How does it work here?

They are so fanatic! They just don't seem to get it!

That's how self-entitled they are! They love making everything about themselves, even if they have to flip the script. This type of toxic behavior is not new and is more prevalent in narcissists. They love complaining about "the male narcissist" but women sure have a lot of traits.

This just demonstrates how they are so used to twisting things. She's a pedophile! This is not about "this monster objectifying women". We as men, have to be proactive with this things. If not, this society will never render women accountable for their acts.

They have such an expanded vocabulary as hate-speech. How contradictory is that! But they still go out their on social media saying misandry doesn't exist. This is just a form of massive gaslighting. It does not mention that women are super-competitive as well. The hairstyle, the handbags, the shoes, the tan, etc.. She's probably absent minded when other women criticize her behind her back.

I think this subreddit should extend to be present in other media. We need to call things like this out publicly. So pissed-off right now!

Thank you! You nailed it! We are both codependent. Trust me! It gets overwhelming! I have behaved like an avoidant in this relationship, just b/c she is way more clingy than I am. I have always been the clingy one, since I have an anxious attachment style. But since I was cheated on by an ex of mine, I didn't want to open my heart to anyone. Now, I see this as a mistake. I lived a lie and regret not letting myself feel something for someone who deserved me. This is the aftermath of going into a …

You just made me realize I haven't gone through this with my therapist. The therapist knows about the sexless marriage, but doesn't know I've had in my mind the divorce.

It sounds reasonable since we don't share many assets. Thank you!

I accept that communication has not been good. I let so many things slip, that talking what had to be talked years ago, will be mind-blowing for her! I should of been more honest, but I stayed b/c it felt very convenient to have someone I didn't have feelings for, love me.

😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I chose security over pleasure. If I tell her that, she would take care of all the bills, and in return, will limit my social life more.

That's why I have endured this for so long. I am highly empathetic, and don't want to hurt her. I acknowledge it's impossible not to after so many years together. I don't want to end up cheating. Exit cheating makes it worse. I will save your example for when I'm prepared to drop the bomb 😪

Best advice I've read so far. I have to start saving because we share many bills together. She is not greedy, but someone she is close to can advice her to be. My biggest financial concern would be alimony. They might go that route. As of her going into despair, that could happen. She's very emotional, and will cry and hate me for it. I have been her only family for years. That's how we got this far. I have endured this partly because of my health problems, but I want to feel alive again. Feel I…

I have a friend that years ago left a girl pregnant. He begged her to have their baby. One day, he came to her house, and found-out she had an abortion. The problem here, is he fell in this awful depression. I think it still haunts him in a certain way. I understand is there body, but there should be more empathy towards men. Probably the abortion would of been less traumatic this way.

Really!? This must be some joke. They can easily equal the same issues as men. Women killing men for there life insurance is already a stereotype they can't deny. Domestic abuse? This sounds like the movies and the media portraying them as an innocent victim, who has never harmed anyone. When in many cases they are the ones starting the abuse, and in many cases the only ones engaging in physical abuse. Gender pay gap is so relative. Maybe statistics show that in average they make less than men. …

In college, there was a couple of women who would constantly challenge men's ideas, just for the sole purpose to annoy us. If we challenged them back, they didn't have anything better to say. The title of the book just reminded me of that. We also get the female version of the "mansplainer", giving unsolicited advice, and making sure we understand what we are suppose to do, when it's obvious everyone with common sense can do it. They really like to makeup a whole bunch of terminology, when it ha…

They already have gyms for women only. It wouldn't be strange that we end up sitting in the back... Hmm... Sitting in the back! Where have I heard this story from? (Sarcastic question ofc!)

FYI, there has been more than one Reddit group and account deleted because it was wrongly (IMAO) banned. It is still a privilege to be able to vent here.

It is hypocrisy to say men are sending mixed signals, when women are probably more guilty for such behaviors. There are plenty of women who like to play mind games like push and pull.

Having reciprocity is totally different to the main ideal of chivalry and romanticism. It blurs reality more than needed. It gives both false expectations. It is about finding someone who is generous and kind, and being kind and generous to the other person. Not "I brought them flowers; dine them and treat them like a princess", nor "he had what he wanted, now he better do as I say".

Romanticism is a sick religion. You pretty much have to adore women like a goddess; put them on a pedestal, bring them offerings like flowers and such. A time that really strengthened this romantic idea was the Victorian Era, where courting was a thing. Women started chasing "equality", they got it but still expect the same simping behaviors'. We have to see each other as people now. Not like some divine fantasy that creates toxic dysfunctional relationships. It is more important to match, than …

"Dating trends expert at happn says: “It is positive to see that #metoo has created such a tangible cultural shift. Men are conscious of being respectful in their language and their approach, which can only be a good thing when it comes to instigating a relationship. It is also positive to see that women are open to being approached in the right way in most situations and that the digital space is creating an environment where all singles feel comfortable and safe in approaching each other.”" So…
