Didn't no fault divorces also come about from the fact that divorce courts were so bogged down in trying to decide who held what % of fault in each divorce, that they just said...screw it...and made it pretty much default in the woman's favor? I'm wondering if our current system even has the manpower or means to deal with this potential complexity of, as mentioned, woman/woman divorce?

Speaking of which...I watched one of the latest Bond films, Skyfall, and thought it was odd how much control M had over Bond. She also had a female character tailing/helping him. It seemed like it was mom back home helicopter'n him and making sure he doesn't f up. Kinda like the man is too dumb, needs a female to watch him and direct him like a puppet. Maybe I was just thinking too hard on it, but that's just the way it seemed to me. I remember M being in a lot of the previous Bond films, but do…

I was thinking the other day about how back in hunter gatherer days the man in the tribe who was the strongest, or best hunter and warrior, was probably the most sought after male in the tribe. Would this be correct? If so, it totally makes sense that the most fit man with highest earning potential (ability to bring home food and provide protection) would always be sought after. But then you have a split in modern society bc you don't need to be fit to make good money, and if you make good money…

What should we do for people who need help? (Even if their need for help is a result of bad decisions.)

We need a show like this in America. This morning I drove up behind a slow moving vehicle that was weaving around in their lane. I then noticed it was a woman putting on makeup. As if people looking down at their cell phone isn't bad enough.

Which is exactly what I said. If a women finds out a mans smv is low, she loses interest in him quickly. I.E. she will hook up with him and then has no further interest in him. Also, smv and money are tied closely together just like looks and smv are tied together. Money is only part of the equation, obviously.

During college I realized that the things men appreciate in a woman were more genuine than the things women appreciated in a man. For example, if I am attracted to a woman for her physical attributes and then her personality once I get to know her, then I do not care what kind of car she drives, what she owns, or how much money she makes. I am genuinely attracted to her for who she is. However, if a women finds a man attractive, but then finds out he has low smv, is poor, drives a pos car, works…

Of course the Bible is RP! I thought these were interesting considering current state of society. For example, how men are portrayed in media (the bumbling idiot) and how women are portrayed (the smart one who needs to him help him through life or else he'd get duped by everyone). The truth is .... It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife. - Proverbs 21:9 A quarrelsome wife is like the dripping of a leaky roof in a rainstorm - Proverbs 27:15…

He's amog'ing you. Which is pretty lame considering he has built in dominance over you by virtue of his title. Do you work at a hospital? Nursing home? Paramedic? Allergy center? Doc in the box? Healthcare is a pretty wide field, and your response can also greatly vary depending on the exact environment.

Haha, I was thinking same. I would have been inclined to kick the door in and then calmly go to bed. Makes for a good entrance, at least, right. lol

I always ask myself...how would they respond to a man with very high smv...think Brad Pitt or something. Would they say yes and then ignore his text afterwards? Nope. She'd be falling all over herself to reply and she'd cancel any plans she has to go on the date. Obviously this is an extreme example, but the truth is, if a girl likes you enough, she'll figure out a way to make a date work. If you were a high value man, would you put up with a girl not responding to your advances? Next her and if…

Yeah and not to mention the general personalities of folks that go into that field probably appreciate attention more than the average person who just wants to be anonymous to the general public. The part where she mentioned the whole cast making the couple go into restaurants first is so funny bc it seems as tho they are extending the stage into their private lives. Seems so dramatic (which makes sense given they are actors/actresses)

Just work on yourself...don't let social pressure, friends getting married, people posting crap on social media, weddings, babies, whatever, make you think you have to follow suit. When you've built a strong foundation, confidence, career, whatever it is you want, and you're ready...then get married...but only if you want to, not because your mom/aunt/friend is pressuring you to.

Or when women try to tell men how to think, feel, or respond to things - telling men it's not ok to follow our instincts. In short...trying to make us act more like women.

Is this why the girl walking around NYC thing that went nuts a few months ago pissed off so many women?

I dated a girl once that used to start arguments over the dumbest stuff. Things like "you talked to them more than you talked to me" (referring to if we went on a double date with some friends and she calculated that, over the course of the night, I spoke to our friends more than I spoke to her.) We'd go round and round about it for hours, the argument morphing and changing throughout. I think she was really just seeking attention and enjoyed pushing my buttons...aka shit testing me, seeing if I…

exactly! I wondered the same thing. Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

Does this whole situation seem to go against RP logic? Normally the woman would not be attracted to a "needy" guy - the way this recovering alky is described sounds about as bp as it gets. Is his wife attracted to him bc it fills her motherly instincts to take care of a human that is 'incapable' of taking care of themself? (Not saying he is incapable - but that is the card he's playing to her, and she's falling for it.)

| At one point my wife explained about how she appreciates knowing key components of our marriage are just handled and she doesn’t need to think about it. What are the key components?

I feel like I have a problem with complaining. It's something I'm conscious of and want to fix. There are some things that annoy me at work and I periodically need to vent about them, but they aren't things that I can change, unless my boss will 'man up' and change it. I'm wondering where the line is between being straightforward or talking about an issue, and just being someone that others will dismiss as a complainer?

What is the context of what's going on? Was it a feminist rally that he went to? Was he presenting something to a group and the crazies came out to mess with him?

I wondered if she was systematically walking through areas where she'd be more likely to be addressed (in any form or fashion). For ex, streets that are touristy, or very commercial, where people loiter outside of businesses, panhandling, asking for money, handing out their mix tapes, asking you to read their pamphlet, or just trolling tourists, etc. It would be interesting to see if someone, preferably a guy, identified all the streets shown in her video and then videoed themselves walking and …

I pulled a prank on a friend of mine, once, years ago. He acted like he thought it was funny, and was laughing along with me - not sarcastically at all, mind you, I genuinely thought, for a second, that he thought it was funny. Then all the sudden, he stopped. And stared at me until I stopped laughing. He then walked up to me, holding eye contact the entire way, and extended his arm, poked me right in the sternum. It felt like a piece of rebar being jammed into my chest. He held it there and sai…

Really great answer. Curious, as I'm not always quick to think of a witty amplify response such as those you listed above. Is it ever appropriate to just say "no. it's none of your business."

It's not sexual assault in the sense that it doesn't appear her intentions are sexual. I don't think she was trying to cop a feel or whatever. However, if a man were to attack a woman, and in the process rip her shirt off, stick his fingers in her mouth, and grab her boob, it would definitely be considered sexual assault (among a myriad of other charges the prosecutor could find). They would prosecute him to the fullest extent possible.

he's saying, I think, that women who freely give away sex, are labeled as sluts, whereas men who give away commitment, are labeled as betas.
